I'm going to be as honest as honest can be, this is what I experienced today at this shop. As it's a holiday weekend I wanted to treat myself to a new color on my hands. I walk in, choose my gel polish, and even opt for some bling because their display design peeked my interest. They quoted me 2 fingers for $8, I was fine with that. I sat down at the station, another man came over and told me it would be 2 nails for $8, I again repeated, "I'm fine with that".
The young lady began with reshaping and filing my nails, (mind you, I'm only getting polish, not a full manicure). When she finished the reshape and buff she preceded to put the first clear coat of gel on my fingers. Once completed it's time for color. Well, that's where it all went down hill... The lady in front of me was getting the same color, however, her technician was not done and was not ready for color. So, I'm thinking she can continue with me since I'm sitting there just waiting, oh was I ever so wrong...
They made me sit there for almost 15 minutes while he finished her. When I voiced my concern, I was ignored and told sorry she was first. As I can understand she was first, I however was completed first ready to proceed. I spoke with the manager, she apologized and said maybe I should just find another shop. While checking out I inquired on who the owner was... They then took my information and said Shaun would call me.
I was able to have a conversation with Shaun in the same evening. I expressed my concerns and advised of the events that took place. He simply said, "she was first, and that's their policy".
I share this to say, if you value customer service DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. As a hard working woman I value my coins and I know now they will not be spent in this nail shop.
