I went this past Saturday (June 2) and recieved their "Deluxe pedi" I was greeted well, and seated fast. My issue is with the lady who did my toes. I do not know her name but she cut my toe nail on the side (she called it a hang nail) which clearly was not, and I did not ask her to cut into my foot ! Well after I left, my big toe was red which I figured was going to go down. Now its Tuesday and my toe looks and feels TERRIBLE. I had to go to the MedStop on Zebulon to get it looked at and now they have me on Keflex for two weeks twice a day! So now I have a 600+ bill that I will be filing a claim with them ! Read Less

They could care less about customer satisfaction! Had my nails done there because I was from out of town and my daughter recommended them. And the nail tech which was a guy messed them up and rushed me over to the drying station even after I told him I was dissatisfied.. And he immediately rushed out the door before I could bring it to the manager’s attention.. And once I told the manager he did nothing to compensate even when other techs agreed that it was a bad nail job! I would NEVER patronize this business again when I visit again because they are by my opinion the WORST NAIL SALON in Macon Ga!! This place is HORRIBLE!  Started with not being able to sit with my daughter. My daughter got acrylic nails with white tips and they have air bubbles in them pretty badly plus they charged $5 more than they should have supposedly because of the gel top coat that we didn't ask for. I got SNS color nails and they are jagged around they edges/cuticles, she didn't go all the way down to the nail bed, and they just aren't smooth. To top this all off it is waaaaayyyy too busy and stressful in there and you can tell by how the employees handle themselves (I feel badly for them).  I will never be back and would not recommend this place to anyone!  My phone camera is broken right now or I would take pics of our nails to show the bad jobs. Let me just tell you I've gone to the same guy for my nails for 10 years coming from Washington state. I'm now living here in GA and havent had my nails done since I moved here for this reason. Nail salons give me anxiety I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job. I had an older man no glasses doing my nails and I'll let the picture show you his horrible work after telling him over and over again that nail was still showing he didn't fill it they are uneven thick and not filled I have acrylic in the middle of my nail not the sides he did not do his job and I literally wanted my money back before he was even done. So far the service, cleanliness, efficiency, and overall quality gets 4 stars! I'll come back and let y'all know how long my pedicure lasts. But they got me in and out of my chair, and the gentlemen was polite. He could have done a little better with my pedi, I wasn't moving around so idk why my French tip looks a little uneven. I read Tue reviews and I could see how some people here have the potential to be rude or ghetto, I'm just glad I didn't have that encounter cause I will,have to shut this place down lol. Do not get your eyebrows done here! I asked for a clean up and the older Asian lady ripped the little hair that I had off. When I said I didn't like it and was disappointed she told me it looked better and I needed an arch. I spent $50 on makeup just to fill them in and they still look stupid. Sun Nails is not a good salon. The first time I went, the woman ahead of me came back and had them fix her nails, I should have known then. Nicole did a gel polish on my hands. She did not polish far enough to the edges and 9 days later ALL of the polish began peeling off my fingers, which left a rough and ugly nail bed. The second time I went, Jenny assured me that it was because of water (and I don't soak my hands in water unless I'm washing dishes). She did another gel polish on my hands and that started peeling and chipping 2 days later! I went back and had someone fix those nails (for free, of course) and that SAME night, those fingers were chipping. I spent over $50 and my nails are never acceptable. Poor service. They don't care about the quality of the work anymore just there for the money. I came in to get my eyebrows done and left with uneven eyebrows and they still made me pay for it. The lady that was doing my lashes had entirely too much glue on them and thought it was fine. The management sucks cause all they ever say is I don't know what else to do. I came to sun nails for a fill in and ended up with a fungus on one of my nails. There are a few on the staff that are very nice but the one that did my fill in complained about being there the ENTIRE time she did my nails.And I'm not sure if they're from the customers, but there were a few pests roaming around. After reading reviews on Yelp I decided to visit for a pedicure while in Macon on business.The salon is much larger than one would imagine and has a clean relaxing atmosphere tastefully decorated.  Was greeted immediately and seated in pedicure chair with no wait.  (It was 10am). I was handed the color selection tabs to select a color and was quickly receiving a good pedicure.  I gave this location 4 stars as I prefer to select my polish in a manner which I know the brand.  I prefer OPI and the polish I received was in a square bottle and seemed to be a bit gooey.   She covered with gloss and all is well.  Also the overall experience was a 4star experience as the massage foot and leg could be improved upon and my water hotter.  The prices are super reasonable and I would return if in Macon again. I came here on a Sunday with a friend that comes here often. The shop is really nice. I came in for a fullset everyone was busy but one person. Before I start saying what I have to say, let me tell you I am all about first impression. But there was a male nail tech there he had long hair, clearly it was weave I could notice the glue on his scalp from the front door. He was not at all presentable my friend told me not to let him do my nails because she had him before and she was not pleasant with what he did to her nails. Thank god I brought her otherwise anyone would have been doing my nails but I got a lady she was really nice and listened to what I wanted and she executed perfection. I love my nails thanks to her. So mad I didn't get her name but I will remember her face next time I'm in here.. I knocked down one stars because everyone looks presentable but the man with weave... Who ever owns this place needs to tell him long haired weave on a man is not a nice look for their business.. It was too much of a distraction..but other than that I love my nails and will return. Now I am very picky about nail salons because of my past experiences. After searching for all the nail salons in Macon, yelp led me to this one. I was skeptical, especially because their style seemed to be too wild for my taste, but it was my best bet. I'm here on a 2 week long business trip and I ended up breaking a nail while working so I decided to go ahead and get a fill in. It's a beautiful salon, very busy, but I didn't have to wait long at all. They had a lot of technicians and customers. The guy who did my nails was pleasant and understood what I wanted and the shape. It was $20 for an acrylic fill in and one nail replacement, yikes! But when my nails were dried and I left the salon, I couldn't stop staring at them! This is an Excellent salon and they do an array of different styles. I have gotten gel nails many times and this was by far the worst experience. The store is lovely ,but there were so many people waiting to be served. My gel ended up lumpy, and burned my skin when it went under the lamp. I would not recommend this place. Read Less

I finally found a nail salon in macon with awesome colors. I am originally from metro ATL where there is a nail salon on every corner. The prices are a little higher than what I'm use to, but I understand the reason. This salon is clean, large enough to accommodate a lot of clients at once. I am extremely picky when It comes to getting my eyebrows done but I went here on an recommendation. I was told to ask for Nancy.
