I have never left a salon so unhappy as I did today. I got to the salon and waited for almost 30 minutes to be seen. I understand things happen, but no one even came and told me the situation. I was then rushed at the end of my appointment. I didn't get the style I wanted and had 2 stylist pulling me back and forth to blow dry my hair. I don't like feeling rushed when I am paying a good amount to get my hair done. I even told the stylist not to worry about cutting my hair cause I felt like such an inconvenience at that point. I'm just really unhappy with the services I received today. My hair doesn't even look like I wanted it to color wise. Read Less

I don’t even know where to begin. I am extremely disappointed in the hair cut I received today, and I feel taken advantage of. I was a “walk in” and asked if they had someone who could cut men’s longer hair. They said yes and that the cost was 25$, so I agreed. I received what looked like a woman’s bob when I only wanted a trim by a few inches, and so I kept trying to help the stylist out, realizing she had never cut men’s long hair, telling her to try layers to thin it out, which made her keep cutting shorter, still no layers, and the bob getting more and more round, me losing more and more length, like a woman’s cut. It was a great cut for a woman if she wanted a bob. I’m a man. I just moved from Atlanta and transgender men don’t even have female cuts like this. Then, when I went to pay, the bill was $46.00 not $25, for the worst hair cut I’ve ever received. I asked why and they said because you pay based on how long you are in their seat. So basically, I had to pay for this stylist’s inability to cut men’s hair. I was paying double for her mistakes, then went home with a horrible cut. Now I am going somewhere else tomorrow and spending another 25 to fix her horrible mistake. I will NEVER recommend you to anyone. Read Less

I got my hair cut last weekend and while I was disappointed in the cut, I want to commend the General Manager Rachel for her professionalism in handling the situation. Rachel contacted me immediately and was very apologetic and sincerely wanted to remedy the situation. I appreciate how she handled everything. I do understand these things happen and it's refreshing to see someone extend the professional courtesy that she has. Got my daughter right in and 20 mins after my appointment I’m still waiting and now they are wanting me to wait on my daughter to get done with the stylist and then he will get to me. Aubrey is absolutely amazing at her job! Not only is Aubrey great but the whole staff is! 2 of her coworkers helped her foil my entire head in less than 30 mins! It was true teamwork and amazing to not have to sit in a chair for hours upon hours! Signature took me in as a last minute appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I had to wait a few minutes, but that was fine because it gave me time to check out the lotions and soaps they have. My stylist, Mary, listened to what I wanted and asked follow up questions which told me she was listening to me and not just doing what she wanted to do. The cut was on point. Update: Signature Salon reached out to me the GM an made an immediate appointment to correct my hair. Christine at the Bass Rd location graciously welcomed me an did a full foil an deep conditioning treatment, my hair came out perfect. The highlights that were covered by the toner were there, perfect color an tone. I really appreciate all they did to fix my hair an made me feel welcomed. They have earned my business an I will continue to go to this location. It says a lot when a company does everything it can to help an correct any mistake. I'm very pleased. In this day this is extremely hard to come by but Signature did it. Thank you Rachel, Magan an Christine! ( she had a nice young lady training with her don't remember her name but thank you as well) I've been going to Signature a little over a year now an the last two visits have finished it for me. This time today 08/04/2017 paid for a partial highlight with cut an came out darker than I went in. Last time I had a full highlights an their staff must be required to sell every treatment they can because at 45 I had to all of a sudden have a lift to bring the highlight out, then a toner an then deep conditioning then the cut an it was $50 less than today. Now I've been getting my hair done 30 something years in Orlando never ever needed a lift, or a toner my hair lightens perfectly. So today at $166 my hair which was suppose to have a partial highlight with blond is darker chocolate brown because she felt she should had a semi permanent toner or glaze that was brown over my highlights. Don't waste your time or money because their company policy is to send you back to the stylist that did your hair, I don't know would you go back to a suregeon who screwed your surgery up? The two stars are for their facilities an politeness but as far as hair you better go by a recommendation of a client don't play Russian roulette with your hair an then end up like me. Now I get to either wait for this brown color to wash out or pay another salon to fix this because I'm not going back to Cherry street. Oh an their pricing is also kind of who you see, still can't figure how a partial with cut blow dry was $145 an a full highlight with the 3 treatments was $135. We came here to do a trial run for a wedding. Paige did an amazing job listening to two different opinions (moms and daughters, you know how it is) and then compiling a look that satisfied everyone while still adding her own flair. Looking forward to working together as we get closer to this big day for some different looks! The salon itself is clean, comfortable, airy and aesthetics's pleasing. My friend just got back from the salon completely disappointed with her new look. She asked for a pastel pink ombré color with a fringed cut (a picture included for clarification) and ended up with a vibrant fushia color. When she asked he hair stylist to please give her the color she asked for, it again didn't come through. This isn't my major issue with the place though. The real issue is that she was /charged/ extra for the attempt on the stylists' part to fix the mistake that was made which nearly doubled the quote she was given. This totaled out to nearly $400 for the cut, color, and failed attempt at correction. If it wasn't for her coupon she'd be out that much instead of the $240 she had to pay for a botched service. Beautiful salon and friendly staff, but I was disappointed in the service. I was really looking for a new hairstyle (I’ve had the same boring style for a decade), trying to look cute and trendy for my first summer in my 30’s. I was disappointed with how I looked when I walked away. I showed the stylist several different pictures of acceptable cuts, and mine doesn’t look like any of them. Not even close. I would have been ok with pretty much anything, but all I feel like I got was a basic trim. My hair is just shorter, there’s not really a cute style or anything to it. But since I don’t want to go any shorter, I have to let my hair grown out again before I try anything new. I also wanted all over color to get rid of the damage I’ve done with box dye (shame on me…I know). But again, I wanted something different, not just the same old brown hair that I’ve had for a decade. The stylist covered the box dye, but I still have brown hair. It looks pretty close to my natural hair color, so again, I don’t feel like I got anything new out of the experience. I will try a different salon next time. Read Less

It's not often I write bad reviews and I really try not to complain but I was disappointed with my hair and makeup appointment here.  I scheduled a 4:45pm Saturday appointment, being advised that I could be out by 6pm.  This was important knowing that I had a 7pm event.  My half-up/half-down curled hair style took at least 3 attempts to get right.  Sometimes I think I expect a little too much but I paid $40 (maybe $45) for hair and it just never seemed perfect.  With time wearing down we had to move on to makeup...Overall, I think my full makeup application turned out...alright.  I requested a few adjustments here and there but quickly became limited due to timing.  What bothered me most was the appearance of my stylists hands but I won't get into detail.  She also had to request assistance with mascara application.  I don't think I left the salon until 6:30pm and was extremely anxious by that point knowing that I needed to be somewhere by 7pm.At first, I was super excited to have found such a nice salon in Macon and I think I did a good job of staying positive.  Unfortunately, I constantly felt like my stylist was inexperienced.  I hate saying this but after the initial curling of my hair, I just never felt at ease or in the hands of a capable stylist.  There appeared to be several more experienced stylists at the salon, maybe you just have to request them.  I wish you a better experience! This is a nice, upscale salon that offered outstanding service and a reasonable price!!  I'm used to paying $80 for a cut, before tip. My cut was less than $40!!!  Ashley is awesome. She's so easy to talk to and so much fun. I could have talked to that girl all day. She did a fantastic job on my hair, which is a naturally curly pixie. I am not very particular about who cuts my hair so I find myself most often looking for the most convenient locations that can fit my schedule.  I often have small gaps in my week where I can break away for a quick trim and have to schedule at the last minute.  I booked my appointment online the night before.  The website was user friendly and provided a good indication of how long the process would take so that I could make other appointments.  The price ranges were posted as well as the stylist that would be assisting me (you get to choose based on availability).  I received confirmation via email/text the morning of the appointment.  This location is in the middle of downtown Macon so I arrived early in case parking was an issue but I was able to get a spot very close to the building.  I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who confirmed my information, told me my stylist would be right with me, offered me water/coffee, and expressed her gratitude for choosing this location.  I was then greeted by my stylist Christina Rosales (only works at this location on Tuesdays) who took me to her booth to chat about what I wanted to have done.  She was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to.  She shampooed my hair, did the trim, explained the products she was using, and finished up with a blow dry style.  When I arrived at the counter the receptionist that greeted me initially explained their new customer package that included coupons for referrals, a sample of hair care products, and a koozie.  She rang me up, asked if I needed to schedule a future visit and I was out the door at the exact time indicated in my appointment.  I did leave my debit card by accident but they called me before I pulled out of the parking area to let me know.  I plan to return in the future and would highly recommend this salon for the those who appreciate excellent customer service, efficiency, and convenience. I'm very particular about my hair, beauty services, and feel like not all all stylist understand blonde hair. I was first of all impressed with Signature Salons website where they have bios about their stylists, photo galleries displaying their work as well as the option to book online appointments. I stopped in for a brow wax without an appointment and was in and out in about 20 minutes. The stylist did a nice job and I left happy. And it was only $12 for a wax! Everyone kind and the prices reflect the talent offered. Casey has been my go-to gal and she has been exceptional. I moved to Macon just over two years ago and I have been searching for a salon that could make me look and feel fabulous.  Well, my search is over!  I just had an amazing cut/color and pedicure all in a few hours.  I really liked how light and airy the salon was and that the owner's pups were out too!  Hayden took care of me taking my over-processed locks and turning them into a beautiful look just in time for back-to-school.  I highly recommend Signature Salon if you're looking for being pampered and a great haircut with style! Been getting my hair cut from the same girl for around 5 years now and moved with her and Signature to the new building off of Bass Road.  Everyone is really nice and makes you feel welcome while you are there.  Complimentary bottled water and coffee if you want.  Do the little things for no additional cost (my stylist, Mary, trims and shapes my beard anytime I ask).  The also host events for local charity and raise money for the community.  If you want an affordable haircut that is always amazing and be able to participate in local charities while having fun, this is the salon for you.
