This guy was doing a pedicure on me And he was paying no attention to my feet at all, and when he was using that thing to attention to what he was doing, like he was looking around at everybody else and he cut my ankle! he saw what he did and did nothing, then put my feet back in the water knowing I was bleeding he paid no attention to it. Going to Sassy nails was the WORST nail experience of my life. I had a manicure/pedicure combo which cost me $100. I was sat in a chair and given my Mani/Pedi at the same time, which was cool, if they didn't rush me in and out of the chair. I was in the building a whole 30 mins for a Mani/Pedi. They did not take their time at all and it showed. Instead I walked out with polish build up all around my toe nails and my American Manicure still had spots of purple from the previou...s polish she didn't remove all the way before rushing through my manicure and getting me out the door. I did go back in and the girl who did my pedicure did remove all the polish build up but the lady who did my manicure didn't want the even acknowledge there was an issue. This salon exceeded my expectations! I felt welcomed and loved the HOUR MASSAGE ON MY LEGS! I upgraded my pedicure to the hot stone treatment, but had no idea the nail tech was going to take her time on my legs, other places I usually feel rushed but not here! I picked rose gold and brown...they decided on red and maroon....I hate red! Every little detail was an extra charge. Asked me if I wanted a manicure with my son's, I said no, they jacked up my cuticles and did a trim to fix it then charged me for it. I tried this salon since I'd never been before. The technician was nice. She did a great job. My nails are already short...so they look even shorter (I guess because I got glitter gel polish). Me and my boyfriend went in for pedicures and enjoyed every moment of it! The nail tech even took a picture for us! The massage was extremely relaxing and I would definitely recommend this place! They even have a suggestion box where you dry your nails for customers to give them tips on how to improve their shop, that shows me they really appreciate and care about the people who patronize their facility! Okay, I've read some pretty horrible reviews on this place and I feel the need to set the record straight. I've been going here regularly for at least 5 years. They stay BUSY because of where they're located. I know some people have written they feel rushed and yes, it can feel that way depending on how busy they are. I recommend going first thing when they open, especially during the summer. Also, when they aren't busy, they spend A LOT of time massaging your feet and legs. Some of the options for a pedicure are a little pricey, but the length of time they spend makes it worth it. Plus, they have a big salon and lots of pedicure chairs. I like how spacious and clean it is. Manicures can be tricky there, just depends on who you get. I always get SNS and I feel they do a good job. Some of the men can be a little heavy handed with the drill so speak up if they are hurting you. Overall I feel like it's one of the best nail salon options in Macon. They DO charge to remove gel/SNS polish. So if you're opposed to paying extra to have it removed make sure you soak it off before you go. Richard, Amanda, and Jessica all do great manis! Great pedicures but not so good on manicures. There is only 2 manicure chairs, so you usually have to sit in a pedicure chair. Holding the gel light in your lap is definitely not the most comfortable and it's not relaxing at all having to reach your hands across to the side. The last two times I've gotten the gel manicure here, it started peeling in less than a week! They are fast, but it definitely seems more rushed and sloppy. Went yesterday and was very unhappy with my experience. The "hot towel" part of the pedicure means they wipe one ankle with a warm cloth. Two different employees told me that was what they did. They had no idea what I meant when I said most places wrap your legs with the towels. Took a friend and she got a $25 acrylic manicure, but it somehow ended up being $40. When I asked about it no one could speak English and all they would say was "pink powder". Guess the "pink powder" is a $15 up charge. Will not be back. Read Less

Went here to get a pedicure. Got the $29 pedicure (involves oils) and the $5 callus treatment. Overall the salon was crowded but well staffed; I didn't have to wait. It was clean. Not super impressed with my pedicure. The callus treatment and massage were great but the polish job could have been better. I like my toenails super short which can throw the technician for a loop but my toenails grow super fast and I like them super short so I cut them myself before I go. A quote from my now-fiancé, while we were at dinner post-proposal.Earlier that day: I requested someone very experienced for a gel mani, since I would possibly be getting engaged soon. It bothers me when a service isn't honest...it's not believable telling a customer that all of the employees are experienced. Yet, I trusted them on spot- everyone deserves a chance, right? I give them two stars because the environment was nice and relaxing, and they were fairly priced. It is just disappointing that I spoke up for my priority, yet I was seen as a dollar bill instead of a potential new loyalist. I arrived at 10:12, for what was supposed to be a relaxing pedicure. I was in and out! By far the worst pedicure ever. She didn't even massage at all, she rubbed lotion on my legs and that was it. Not sure why the bad reviews, but I enjoy coming here. They use organic products (lotions and scrubs) and extremely sanitary. The owner is nice and polite. Also, the price is not bad for the area. I had a gel French manicure and it looks awful. The white tips aren't even and are different sizes on each nail. The cuticle clipper she used already had someone else's cuticle clippings in it. She never had me wash my hands and they only have 2 manicure chairs in the place. I left very unhappy with my service. I was also supposed to get a scrub with my package and I didn't get that. I decided to ignore the reviews before coming in. That was a terrible mistake. I went in for a pedicure. The lady spent maybe 5 minutes. She slapped some polish on my nails, not even a top coat, then stuck out her hand for $25. Less than 2 miles away you can go to Venetian Nails for $25, except there they are not only friendly, but also take time to do a GREAT job. You almost worry you somehow signed up for extras, because they put so much effort into your experience. NOT at Sassy Nails. It wasn't u til I left that I noticed thst the first coat was put on half way and has left a ridge under the second coat on my nail. For $25!!! Terrible service!   Rude!    Went in salon wanting a polish change and came out with throbbing fingers.   The lady was going so fast and carelessly that she nicked 5 fingers.   Worst thing she never even acknowledge what she did until I pointed out to her that I was bleeding.  They never asked me to wash my hands, unlike other salons.   Obviously not a clean salon.  The tool that she cut me with wasn't sterilized while I was there.   My polish is red which matches the color of my red swollen skin.    BEWARE! As a professional in the beauty industry I am truly shocked at the lack if cleanliness, professionalism, and knowledge. Any technician can tell you that wearing gloves during a pedicure is both protection for the client and the technician his or herself. I asked the technician why she wasn't wearing gloves and received a very puzzled look followed by someone translating to her what was asked and she said "feet look clean. " this alone worried me. My friend and I had a pedicures done today here....to say I have had better is putting it nicely. Both of our pedicures last about 12 minutes no joke. The girl barely even used the pumice stone on my heels. It's inexpensive ($20) but sucks. Usually these sort of places are great and it was busy when we got there so I thought I found a gem-I didn't. I will not go back. We left unimpressed and unhappy with our service. If you get pedicures often and enjoy them I would not recommend this place. I wish I could give 0 stars. You are better off painting your nails yourself. I went in for a manicure, and to start she only painted the bottom two-thirds of my fingernails. Leaving the upper part of the nail, the half moon up to the cuticle, unpainted. I asked her very nicely to paint the rest of the nail, so she painted the nail, and all over my skin. In addition, since the first layer was so horribly done, you can see the line from the second coat. The final product was sloppy work that I could have done myself.
