I went in the middle of a weekday and was able to served immediately. The woman who did my gel manicure did a bad job filing and shaping my nails. After she filed and manicured them, I had to ask her to re-do it. I had skin hanging on several fingers and my nails were all different shapes. After the second time, I just asked for a nail file and did it myself. This was all while I was in the spa chair getting my toes done. Maybe it would have been better if she waited until we got to her station. She also filed my nails AGAIN at the end of my gel manicure (for some reason). It was really annoying. The women doing my toes was nice. She tried to keep conversation going and made sure she fixed her mistakes as she went. I got home and realized that my big toe nail was cut crooked, so I’ll have to stare at that until it grows out. They both did a good job polishing from what I can tell. Read Less

I Googled nail shops in the area I was in while waiting for my car to be serviced and I could Princess Nails. When we arrived , they said it’s would be about 15-20 minutes for a pedicure , that actually turned into about an hour before we were actually seen/serviced. I was patient because one of the workers was very apologetic and said they were swamped because it was spring break. Because of that, I made an appointment to come back the next day for a gel manicure. I actually arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. I used that time trying to find the right color to match the pedicure I had just gotten the day before . When the lady came back with the color I picked , it wasn’t right so I went back to her front to get the sample. Well when I looked back , she started servicing another customer and I was told I had to wait until one of the other ladies was available. That’s unacceptable! I had an appointment and was actually early and even at the table to get serviced so why would I wait for her to serve someone who came after me ?? I won’t be coming here again . I stopped by to get my nails done today while I was in Macon. I've been to Princess Nails many times before. I've gotten the SNS dip powder there before as well. I decided to get it again and it is horrible. My nails look like crap. To start off with, I got cut on 8 different fingers. Normally they will only do 2-3 coats for the SNS, but no she gave me 6!!!! I stayed there for almost 2 hours for just some nail work. It was ridiculous. My nails look like mounds. It is very apparent that my nails have way too many layers in them. Like I said, I go here all the time. I've never been to the women who did them today but I was very displeased with the outcome of my nails. I will be going back tomorrow to get them fixed. - Fast to get in (and I don't mean that nail salon trap of "pick your color and get in the water" - I mean they're working on me within 2-4min). - Quality work. They don't injure me and my nails last longest from this salon than any other around town. (To you reviewers who said they did a bad job, you've got to try different people. I've had two that hurt me back when, 8 that are good and 4 that are phenomenal. I go back to those 4). - Massage is great. Some are better than others, but they're ALL much better than other salons where they distractedly and haphazardly massage my bones in a lazy and painful way. They spend a fair time on the massage too. - I don't ever have them rushing (as other reviewers said), except when I've told them I'm in a rush. And then they just do the same quality work in less time, they don't skimp. - A super plus that most of them speak English reasonably well and have English names we can pronounce, which makes explaining our wants and needs easier. I love that. - They don't push up-selling. If you ask for a pedicure, that's what you'll get. They do offer a deluxe pedicure, but don't ram it down your throat. They don't try to sell me gel on my feet or extra massage time. They offer these things if YOU want them. I love that about this place! - I like their layout. The pedi chairs in the round give a sense of privacy if you're alone but you can still easily chat with your friends/family if they come with you. - my favorite salon of all the cities I've lived in and it took me 6 months to find the salon and the people I like in it.Read Less

Visited this place twice. New to the area and needed a place get cleaned up. I didn't wait any more than about 2mins on a Saturday. Salena did my brows and they look amazing (I'm picky about my brows) . I visited again a week later to have a pedi and mani and I am very pleased with both. I'll be back! Read Less

Hands down the worse pedicure Ive had!!!! First off the pedicure lasted maybe 15 Minutes from the time i sat down and got up. I asked if they offered different types of pedicures and the basic one was 18 and then it jumped all the way up to $39! The $18 one wasnt worth it so i couldnt imahine getting a $39 one. I told the lady that my legs hurt and please massage them good. The manager spoke up and said $20 for massage.... i wasnt asking for an extra massage just a good regular one. When she was doing the bottom of my feet i asked for the grater and she said its $5 More!?!?!?! WHAT? The point of a pedicure is to have soft feet. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. They want to upcharge for everything. She didnt massage at all.... just poured oil on my legs and rubbed in then stopped. I couldve painted my own toes for free because thats all they did. I'm in town for a tennis match and messed up my polish from my all natural nail spa at home in Augusta. It's been a year since I've come into a traditional nail salon. The smell of nail polish, polish remover, and acrylic dust nearly knocked me out the door. Nevertheless, I needed to get my polish fixed quickly. I came in about 15 min before closing time. I asked how long the wait would be and was told "Not long. Pick your color." I was seated in 10 minutes and the technician removed my old color and trimmed my nails. In and out in 30 minutes for $10 polish change. Not bad for an emergency. The service was good and the venue is nice. They just need some better ventilation. Read Less

Ok I have been to a few nail salons in different states and this is equal to what I am use to in nj except for one thing the manager. The girl that did my pedicure was great. The manager did my nails and my eye brows which I didnt request. I know they needed to be done but 2 months ago a lady somewhere else took one off so I was regrowing them and keeping them thick but before I knew it the lady put wax on my lip. I was shocked and stunned. 1 st I have baby fine blonde hair on my face and 2nd I never asked her to do it. After my face was done she chuckled and said oh I always do that. Wow. She also did a full set. Nothing special. The foot \ leg  massage was weak. I could have done it myself but she did a great job on my feet. If I go back it will be too only get my feet done. She never told me price for my eyebrows and of course she charged me for her doing my face without asking. Never asked if I could use a drink.   I am very picky and believe if I pay you to do a job and I list what I want please dont add shit I dont need nor want. I guess I have to jeep looking for a nail salon. Also all the nail salon owners workers know each other and how do I know this. Its because I use to go to one place for a few years until they sold. That being said the manager lied to my face when she said she didnt know anyone in Macon. This place looks nice except the service was terrible. The woman who did my nails didn't even attempt to make them look nice. I explained multiple times I took my gel set off and want them filed and smoothed down and a manicure.  She started to put the base coat on when I stopped her and told her to take the remaining gel of which was clearly visible and half on still. She told me no until I ripped a piece off. She charged me $5 extra which was fine except she was then very rude to me after that. When she refilled my nails she went so short on one of them it started to bleed and still hurts the next day. I can see the dried blood under my nail. Then she half heartedly painted them and when I asked her to take the hair off one of them she didn't even fix it when it ruined the nail. I'm still picking nail Polish off the sides of my fingers too. Then she threw my coat at me when I was drying my nails and tossed my purse on the chair next to me almost spilling the contents.  If she hadn't made me pay before she really started I would have refused to pay and spoken to a manager.  When my nails were dry I was so annoyed I just left without saying anything. I love this place. It's very clean and everyone I've meet speaks pretty good English. Sam and Caroline are my favorite girls there but others have been good too. I'm a Macon native and I went in with my mom for a quick little mother-daughter get away. My friend had seen some nice reviews about the place and she went their for her prom nails and said it was great, so this was the first place to come to mind. Indeed, she was correct. The staff was all super friendly, they were a little crowded but we had been seen, if not immediately, 5 minutes later. We got the deluxe pedicure or whatever they have it labeled as with the masque, sugar scrub, callous remover, a good 5 or so minute massage on each leg and foot, etc. it was the most relaxing pedicure I think I've ever gotten. I'm a Macon native & decided to stop in on a whim before leaving town one weekday morning. Very disappointed in my pedicure, I think I was in and out in probably 15 minutes (and the place was not crowded). Was probably the most basic pedicure I've ever received - nail polish removed, nails filed, some dead skin taken off the bottom, a little bit of lotion rubbed on and nails painted. For $30 before tip I believe I was ripped off as I've gotten much better around town for the same or less money. I think most people must bring their own polishes to this place because the selection, to me, was pretty poor (I wanted coral but had to settle for red) and many bottles looked like they had been sitting there for a very long time. This is the first nail salon I've been to in Macon so I have nothing to compare it to but I've visited plenty of salons before in other places. $25 for a standard pedicure which isn't bad- might be about $5 more than other places in this area. Nice selection of OPI and China Glaze polish colors. They include the callous remover and a good leg and foot massage with their standard pedicure. Their massage chairs are nice as well. $8 for an eyebrow wax which is pretty standard, and the lady did a really nice job (they use a wax pen which I have never had used on me before). I walked in around 11am on a Saturday morning and was seen to immediately, no wait. Overall a good experience! Read Less
