So disappointed in this place. I’ve been going here for a year now ever since I moved from Austin,TX. I got my toes polished with gel a few days ago and my one toe the gel polish completely peeled right off. She put too many layers of it. I went in Friday and they were packed so I said I would come back. Go there today (Sunday) and it’s a 40 minute wait. 40 minutes to literally correct ONE toe which would take not even 5 minutes? I can't not believe what just happen!!! I go here every now and then never had an issue until today! So tell them what I want and they soak my nails off. When they get done they tell me to leave....I look around confused ......I thought maybe it was a joke lol NOT! They told me I give them a hard time...but WHEN??? Never get your nails done at this place. I came to get a gel manicure out of convenience but will never EVER patronize again!!! I used to be a manicurist but as busy as my schedule is, I never have time to do my own so from time to time I’ll go to Bally Nails on South Cobb, which is fabulous by the way🤗 Anyway, out of convenience I went to GT nails located on Veterans Memorial in Mableton, GA and left out before the woman could finish the service. Like most gel manicures,... they put cotton balls, along with aluminum foil on your nailbed to remove the gel from previous set. At GT Nails, because they appear to be extremely lazy, they soak your fingers in a manicure bowl up to your knuckles in PURE ACETONE to remove gel😳🙄 (that was also sitting in another bowl of hot water that was burning my fingers as well). That can’t be legal!! When I asked her why this method, she said nothing!! I then stated, “ I’m not comfortable with you doing my nails” and again, she said nothing!! I took my hands out of the acetone, asked how much for the soak off, gave her $5 and left. It took everything out of me not to snap out but I took the high road. My fingers looked like chalk as I walked out. Are you freggin kidding me??? This place is garbage! See it's a small town with little nail salons. They are extremely rude and looking at previous reviews from a year ago nothing has changed? They should just close the business and start all over again type of horrible. The lot gossip and talk poorly about you right in front of you! Today was my first time coming to this nail salon to get nails done. The wait was a little long, but I didn't mind waiting because it was a Saturday and they are busy. I finally get seated and I'm really excited about getting my nails done for a special event. I showed my lady (I wish I could of got her name) what I wanted and she said "okay, I do for you. It'll be 35$. That's normally over what I usually pay , but figured that I'm getting good service today sure why not. She gets started on my nails and starts to add the fake nail onto my nail and first and first of all she applied 2 nails really crocked as I was bringing it to her attention she goes "no , your nail is just like that". My nail was not crocked when I walked in here. She goes okay I fix it. She fixes it & goes back to work. Long story short she did a very poor job. My nails polish were extremely cakey & thick as if she added 40 coats of nail polish I asked the lady to fix it and she made the same mistake twice . The first thing the owner said to me was that I had to pay because I got service which I understand it's not that I did not want to pay , its the fact that I did not get NOTHING I asked for. I'm new to the area, so I went two weeks ago since it's close to where I live. The pedicure was good, but my nail shape was uneven and the polish job was patchy. Decided to give them another chance today and once again my fingernail polish looks patchy and terrible. When three nails on my left hand got smudged, the tech tried to smooth them with his finger and paint over them rather than redo the polish. He complained when I asked him to fix them from scratch because they had dried clumpy. Then he only fixed them with one coat of color and didn't apply a top coat. I was actually excited to try this place. As I came in I was greeted and I told the man in the second chair that I wanted a full set and a pedicure. He just looked at me. So I chose a color and and sat down. I'm not sure how long I sat there but it was long enough to completely piss me off and I'm not easily angered. Other than the greeting I was never even acknowledged, not even told that someone would be with me soon. I happened to look up at the door and saw they would be closing in 10 minutes so I left. I've been going to this location for over five years. Like the owners and staff The majority of the nail techs are very thorough and do a great job. I always get the deluxe pedicure. They tend to massage longer than other places I've been. I hate when techs rush through the massage portion. Don't usually have that problem here. I also  use their waxing service for myself and daughter (eyebrow and lip). Don't have problems with breaking out or scaring like we have had other places. Read Less

When I expressed that I was not pleased with my manicure because the nail polish didn't cover my entire nail, the technician immediately walked away and started speaking in her native language, as if were okay for her to insult me, just because I didn't understand what she was saying. I recommend that you don't go here IF you want the service that you are paying for. Simply rude, unprofessional, and obviously isn't trained enough to paint an entire fingernail. Read Less

I got white gel polish on a Thursday and by Friday the white turned brown!!! I went in on Friday and asked if they would re-do my nails and was told no because they were "100% sure" I put my hands in chemicals or smoked. I did neither! I went to this salon looking to get a full set mani/pedi and they seated me fairly quickly. The nail technicians finished my mani/pedi within a reasonable time and I got out pretty quickly on a busy day--until I looked down at my nails. Once I got in the car I noticed how bad my nails looked I walked back into the store and asked for a redo on two toe nails. (Sidenote: I was very polite and willing to wait a few more minutes since they were busy. I figured a quick polish repair would take no time. It was from the removal of the tissues in between my toes. No biggie, right?!) No, the guy just looked at me and said it was from me putting my sandals on (which he did) and he wasn't going to do anything about the polish repair. I've been coming here for almost a year now and I am very happy! As soon as you walk in, the gentleman who's always sitting at the very front will ask you what service you'd like. If he's busy when you walk in, he is always sure to get right with you ASAP. I have finally selected my favorite nail tech...Annie! She's a sweetheart. Her husband works there also and if I'm not mistaken, I think he's the gentleman that's my 2nd favorite. They also do a great job on eyebrows!
