I popped in to ask about the price of a gel mani on a Friday afternoon. Returned after lunch and was impressed with the manicure and pedicure. My girlfriend received a better pedi than I ever have gotten. Lucky man had aromatic leg wraps, hot stone massage, and all! Even got a little neck back massage thrown in. The owner, Lena, was meticulous with prepping the nail and applying a beautiful gel polish that will stay looking good for some time. I highly recommend this spot. And little touches of comfort like offering tea and coffee were appreciated. Next time I'm in Loganville, this salon is definitely on my to-do list. Read Less

I read all of the reviews and almost did not go there. However I had a coupon and went anyways. I had a pedicure and got my nails done and I was very picky about my nails and a bit of a pain in the butt. The woman who did my nails spent extra time to work on them until they were just right and was still very nice. She did a great job, I would definitely go here again. Read Less

SO SLOW!!!!! They are normally not this slow but recently it's aweful.. I've been here for almost 3 hours for ONLY SNS!!! They are not good with communication and are not respectful and apologize for having to wait SO long! And the lady who did my nails wasn't very personable AT ALL.. Kinda rude also.. she was the darker skin toned lady... But There were 3 other people who were ready to walk out bc of the service!! And whenever I went to check out to leave she told me it was $40 and then I showed her I had a 20% off coupon and she said because I'm using a coupon it's now $45?! LOVE this salon, LOVE the people, LOVE the service! 5++ Stars!! I have been going to American Nails for almost 2 years and have ALWAYS received GREAT service. While I cannot speak for all the people that work there, I can state emphatically that Anna (Pedi technician), Lee (SNS technician) and Nancy (one of the owners) ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS provide EXCELLENT service which is why I keep going back again and again and again. Today, I stopped by because I broke one of nails while doing yard work. Nancy welcomed me in, got me all taken care of and charged me nothing ... absolutely NOTHING.. in fact, all she asked for was a HUG which I GLADLY gave to her!!! So, please, let me re-state again .. This is a horrible nail salon. I spoke to a nice lady but her husband did my nails. I purchased a full set and in less than four days, of my original visit I had 4 nails to come off and the rest of the nails were very loose. I called and spoke with them and they agreed to fix them. I returned back to the salon in 5 days after I originally had my nails done and they charged me to repair their very bad work. I will never go back again. Read Less

I have been pampering my feet and nails for over 25 years and this was the worst.........nail establishment I have been to in my life. First of all, the water for my pedicure was ice cold and she'd just ran the water. When asked to have hot water she did not drain some of the water out, she dipped the water out with a pitcher..which she used to to do the same with my girlfriends water. Thank God I knew/came with my friend because the unsanitary practice sent me through the roof. She saw nothing wrong with what she did. She than ran hot water into both of our pedicure tubs as if she did us a favor. They were trying to not change the peficure liner in the tub. With what they charge why the heck were they being so dorn cheap trying to save a feaking .50 liner. Really!! Now, I'm new to the area but this place is beyond ridiculous with their massive extra charges for basic things that typically come with a pedicure. Highway robbery..I don't mind paying for quality, but this was far beneath quality and this place is getting the butter from the duck. Sorry..my years of experience with this process will not allow me to be sucker again. First and last time here. Thanks to those that posted a review. I visited American Nail and Spa on a Saturday afternoon. It was crowded but I got seated fairly quickly for my pedicure. I wish they had more OPI nudes but I did find a Essie that was a peachy nude. My pedicure experience was average- not in a bad way, and it definitely was thorough-  but I didn't  like that they charged extra to use the callus shaver and callus remover. Most salons just have that as part of the service.A bit of confusion on my SNS manicure- my pedicure was all the way done and I still had to wait almost 10 minutes to get to a manicure chair. Was very impressed with the color pay out and the shape of my nails but my technicians induced  some cuts around my nails( I can feel them when I wash my hands). I don't think this was due to cutting my cuticles as she was very careful but due to the electric drill getting too close. This was my first time getting SNS instead of gel. My pedicure was $26 and my SNS manicure was $35.  I'm not sure if that's market price for SNS but it was a bit of sticker shock for me!Since there are so many different salons within a mile or two radius I think I'll try somewhere different next time I need a mani/pedi. Made the mistake of frequenting this salon last evening. Went with my daughter for fill-ins and pedicure. I have SNS and asked about the coupon that is on the website and they said they would honor. What they don't tell you is any extra charges and give some ridiculous reason for said charges. I was completely disgusted with the entire place. Cheap bate and switch tactics for the establishment. Do not be fooled by any coupons as I should have realized. It definitely lends to their work and products if there are coupons or discounts offered. Although it is in close proximity to my home, I shall not ever go back. I do feel sorry for the workers, they did do a good job. The sneaky and dirty business practices of the owner/manager are the reason I will not be back. Word of advise to the owner/managers, like the previous writer said, speak English to your English speaking customers and your credibility may improve. Read Less

At first I was a little cautious but my experience was good , there was miscommunication at first because I wanted a full set but I end up saying manicure so when  I corrected the young lady , someone else took over but I had to pay an additional $5 .since she started a manicure but overall My nails were pretty and she took her time. Looking for a place in Loganville & I decided to try here today. The lady who did my nails was just okay. I came in with coffin shape & I asked her to make it more narrow & she didn't do that. Also some of my nails aren't even. She didn't let me know that the price of my nails would be more because of the length even though they are my real nails, so I didn't appreciate that. Also, I got a polish change & she cut my toe nails too short. She did confirm my gel color after the first finger & I did appreciate that. Other than that, the customer service was good & they had a nice selection of gel colors. It was not the cleanest nail salon though. I'm very picky about my nails so I will not be returning. I have lived in the area 23 years and had the "dipped" technique done on a trip to Dallas TX. I was so thrilled that I found a place in Georgia that does it. They use SNS products. I started with SNS over acrylic nails & after having the acrylic tips a couple times along with the SNS, my nails were all long enough to be manicured in the SNS/"dipped" method without the acrylic tips. The SNS polish has vitamins in it & I am quite a skeptic about that sort of thing but it absolutely really does work! This is also the place where I had my first pedicure. People used to ask me where I bought my distressed leather boots. I answered, "I'm barefoot." So a pedicure was really needed, but my feet are extremely ticklish so I was nervous about having it done. I warned the crew. My feet were turned into real human female-looking feet.Squeeeeee! I have yet to find a shop in Georgia that does amazing acrylic nails, so I decided to try this shop to see if I'd have any luck. I told the lady who greeted me that I wanted my nails to LAST, and she said they had a two week guarantee on acrylics and if I upgraded to the dip powder type nails (an extra $10) that it could last up to a month with proper care. They were so nice and friendly, and my nails came out alright. The guy who did them may have been a little distracted because a day later I held my hand level to my eyes and realized three of my nails had a weird indent in the middle (they weren't smooth and even like the rest). Those nails didn't even last me the two weeks. I went back upset and they did give me a gift card for the full amount. I will be going back there today to use the gift card, and hopefully I will get someone else to do my nails in there and they will be quality and last for at least two weeks, and that way I can change my rating. But if not then, I would definitely recommend trying another shop before wasting money here. Read Less

Amazing job! I'm here from Chicago visiting my parents and this will now be the only nail shop I visit when here. The customer service was top notch and so are my nails!!! The only thing I'll say is if you're getting a pedi and like the more deluxe type pedis then you have to mention that otherwise they will just give you a basic pedicure. Thank God I asked, I would've been lost without my paraffin wax, hot towel wrap, and hot stone massage lolAlso they have one person doing your nails while another is working on your feet!!!! WIN!!! I was very hopeful about this new salon and although it was nice and clean, I had a terrible experience and will not be back. First off I had to wait 15 mins to even be seen, then my manicure was started and my tech kept leaving then I had to get up and switch to another tech. This tech was nice but answered her phone every 5 seconds, which is a pet peeve of mine anyways. She proceeded with the manicure and broke part of my own nail off then cut it down into the cuticles and just filed it down. There was still old polish on my nails that wasn't taken off and they attempted to cover it but is still in plain sight, bright blue I might add. And finally she rushed through the "manicure" and rubbed oil on my arms for maybe 10 seconds and said I was done.
