I love this nail shop! I'm rather a cheap person so normally I go to the nail shop about once a month but the experience I've had here has made me a regular that comes in every two weeks or sooner. I must admit they are short staffed and so its always busy and the wait is always long! Diamond is my favorite nail technician. She is very skilled and has an amazing personality. very terrible experience, I always go to modern day nails to get sns nails and I walked in with old french tip nails. Instead of them taking the time to soak my French tips off they threw the sns paint right on top of the French tips and charged me 30$ for it. Will never go back. Read Less

This place has really gone down in service and quality. I arrived at 10:01 and waited until 10:24, no one arrived at all! I have been going to this place for years but after waiting for 3 hours for a pedicure and gel manicure last week, I am completely done! They have had thousands of gnats lately and want you to wait in a chair soaking your nails for hours until someone gets to you. It's just not worth it anymore.Read Less

Love love love this place. Super friendly and fast service. They are so good. It's close to my work so I like to come here one my lunch break. I went somewhere else and got a pedi and they messed my nails up and didn't get all the callus off but I went in and they fixed them for me. Very clean and friendly. Read Less

I just moved to Locust Grove back in the middle of January, and one of my mom's main concerns was where to get her nails done. We tried Modern Nails & Day Spa one night. It was about half an hour till closing, so we tried to get in and get out. The workers seemed a bit annoyed, but nevertheless, they did good pedicures. The manager, Nikki, did my mother's nail, and they were AMAZING. I also went back another day to get a manicure, and even though it was just a simple manicure, my nails looked clean and pretty. I'm new to locust grove. i need my nail done and I happen to find this local nail and day spa place. I was greeted by really friendly staffs. they speak english, great! in additional to that, they have a very quite and relax atmosphere that quite extraordinary comparing to other local nail salons. they are clean and the best part is they do great pedicures, they offer different kinds from basic to hot stone and the best what they called "royal pedicure". i had the hotstone pedicure and I love it. i would be back.
