Update: Not even a week after getting my nails done they are literally falling apart! I posted photos my nail randomly came off so embarrassing and a waste of $100!!! Very dissatisfied. Recently I had decided to check out Professional Nail & Spa because it's next to the Target I always shop at. I assumed they took walk-ins and went in on a Sunday around 1. They had a decent amount of customers in the shop, and graciously took me in after about a 20 minute wait. I came in with the intentions of getting acrylics on my finger nails, but my nail tech recommended SNS. I had never tried SNS before and was interested in getting them after she explained more about it. Long story short, I ended up getting SNS and loved the results! I recently moved to this side of town and so I was in need of a new nail spot.i didn't want to write a review until I gave it a fair chance however I have had about 4 different techs and apparently no one understands what coffin shape is my nails are always not quite right be it the shape. Fast service and nice environment. I walked in on a Saturday and was able to get in within 5 mins. The ladies here are niceAnd did a great job on my pedi. There was no one at the desk and no one greeted me when I walked into the salon. I went to this salon a few weeks ago to get my eyebrows done. The service was horrible. The staff was rude and the nail tech brought another person into the waxing room while I was being serviced. In addition, the woman who did my eyebrows was focused on another conversation and burned me with the hot wax. The scar over my eyebrow is finally gone. DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE AT THIS SALON! Today was my first time coming here, to be honest I was a little skeptical at first because of the previous reviews but.....I love this place!!! It's perfect because it's close to where I live. Not that expensive either, I got a full set manicure and eyebrow wax. Mai, who is one of nail techs, took care of me and I LOVE my nails. She did a great job and she's very friendly. She's definitely my go-to girl. The salon itself is very nice and the ambiance is calming. Since it's holiday season, they were giving away gifts to their customers! Not impressed. At all!!! My sister and I went to this location to get mani-pedi's in preparation for a wedding we were in. We both asked for the semi-deluxe pedi. The description said it included callus removal for extra tough callus'. They never did that. It was just a very light scrubbing. My sisters toe ended up getting infected the very next morning due to the lady digging into her toe with some tool. After the pedis they started to leave and I was like I still need my manicure. So she quickly regathered her tools and was rushing thru it so much that she snipped my finger with the scissors and it was bleeding like crazy. So she started work with the polish. That itself was a mess. She put cotton to stop the bleeding, but the fibers kept getting on the nail with the polish. And when she would remove the fibers she would mess up the polish and then just paint over it leaving an uneven mess!!! Once we paid and got outside I saw the aftermath. Unevenly cut nails, some squared, some rounded. The nail polish didn't even go to the edges. If we had not been in a rush....I would have asked for a refund AND for them to correct it. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever had. Coming into the shop I was barely even greeted. Told the " manager " what I wanted ( gel powder overlay ) and he looked at me up and down as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I have been in the nail industry since I was a kid, so I pretty much know what I'm talking about when it comes to nails. Continuing on, he seats me down to one of his nail techs. I had regular acrylics on my real nails and she was going to cut off all of my nails to put on the gel powder. Oh no, I asked her why would she do that when I wanted a GEL POWDER OVERLAY. She then tells me that she has to cut my nails to take off the acrylics. Negative. They have drills that can file all that off. So I just then told her to give me a regular fill in for the acrylics since she didn't know what she was doing. She got upset and stood up and spoke in Vietnamese to the manager saying I keep changing my mind on what I want so she doesn't know how to deal with me. Now mind you, I'm Vietnamese and they did not know that so they continue to talk trash. She sits back down and asks me one more time " so you want fill in and not gel powder? " I told her " well no if you don't know how to take this off without cutting my nails. "She then tries to upsell me with pink powder saying it's better for my nails and that it'll last longer. Pink powder is not healthier what's so ever. They're all the same, once the drill comes out, nothing is healthy. So I told her I wouldn't be able to see the pink anyways, usually pink powder is used for French tips which makes your nails look more natural, but I was going to put on gel polish anyways so it made no sense. My nails turned out okay in the end. Came back the 2nd time and the boss Amy did a great job. The 3rd time coming back, I had asked for SNS. But the wait would've been 30 mins and I had came in at 6:30 and I didn't want to be rude so I asked my husband if he wanted to head somewhere else. I hear this ride lady in the back huffing and puffing saying " this bitch " in Vietnamese, my bad temper kicked in and I stormed out letting them know that I can understand them and the manager just continues on and asks one of his techs something while I was walking out. Horrible! I spent 1 hour getting a hot rock pedicure and the lady had no clue on how to do this, wasn't consistent with the process. She had an OLDER lady do my gel color on my hand and its all messed up, neither one knew how to trim my nails, but what was most disheartening about this place not ONE person had experience with designs. The only good thing and professional about this place was the receptionist signing you in...that's it....you won't be happy. I left very unhappy and not even get closely the service I wanted. I am not sure what the ladies name who took care of my nails this morning, but, unfortunately, I now have an infection due to how deep she dug into one of my big toes, trying to pull out an ingrown section.I appreciated her trying but she really shouldn't have put so much pressure on it. It did not hurt so bad this AM at the time she was doing it, but I believe after being on my feet at work, it has developed an infection. This can happen all the time I am sure. I do not blame her, she was very kind and did a lovely job on my pedi. I just hope maybe the nail shop will see this review and try to learn about how deeply you actually can go. I may stop by tomorrow morning to show them. I am not angry and will not lose my temper in any way with them. It was an accident, I know.Otherwise, for those without ingrown sections or who do not have sensitive feet like myself, the interior of this shop is really very nice and glamorous looking. The ladies there seemed very sweet and knowledgeable about nails and even this morning there were several other ladies enjoying their manis and pedis and what have you.The price was right, and the massage chairs were very comfy, a big plus for a nail salon!Just a caution to reemphasize what I stated earlier... consider another salon if you have ingrown nails or sensitive toes.Overall a nice little salon. Very disappointed in the customer service. I did not expect to have my nails redone at no charge because they changed colors to an awful brown within 4 days, but I sure didn't expect to pay $20 for something that they should have fixed. I've been here twice for a basic pedicure.  My friend Melissa is a regular here and I meet here on occasion for a pedicure.  They are an extremely efficient salon and have very friendly techs.I like that they are clean and professional.  The price is right at $20 for a basic pedicure and an extra $5 to get your calluses pumiced.If you're looking for a new salon that's well operated and maintained, definitely make a visit here and you won't be disappointed.
