This is my second time going here and I'm more disappointed this time than the previous time. I got GEL manicure and this is three days after I got the manicure.... the first time I got dip powder SNS gel and the file my nails too thin that they were sore until the next day. Lynn is excellent! I usually request she do my nails unless I am in a rush. She is gentle & never nicks me. I love the atmosphere at DiVa Nails. They play jazz or instrumental music on the radio. This makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. Also, they sanitize their instruments well. They always come out in sealed packaging that is opened when they use the instruments. The previous owners were wonderful and ran a great salon. However, they recently sold the salon and the last time I was in there (7/1/17) it was horrible. The pedicure was not too bad but the manager who did my nails did an awful job. Also, while I was there a lady came in to have her eyebrows and upper lip waxed. She complained to the manager, who did the waxing, that she just about took her lip off (to which the manager laughed). I will never go in there again and certainly would not recommend this salon. First time back there in almost 2 years and the only reason I went yesterday was because my normal salon was closed........ it has to be new owners because the service was horrible!! If I'm paying you $30 for a gel refill I expect you to do them the way I asked, not the way you want to. The lady that did my nails was working so fast I had to tell her twice that she didn't polish the whole nail and she just seemed to be in such a hurry. The lady that did my toes cut the cuticle on my big toe so deep it started bleeding and she seemed to be in a hurry as well. I always see Lynn and get a Gel Manicure ... every time my nails are fabulous and not once have I had chipped polish ... Had my nails done by Lynn again today ... she does amazing work and my nails are the best they've ever looked ... staff is always polite and you don't have to wait forever to be taken care of ... I always get a GEL manicure and wouldn't use any other polish ... my manicure lasts about 21/2 to 3 weeks and my polish has NEVER chipped ... personally I've been coming to Diva Nails for the past 2 years and have no plans to go anywhere else ... thanks Lynn for always taking good care of me !!... see you again in a few weeks ! I don't know where Kevin and Jennifer at but please come back. I'm been a customer for about 14 years when they was at Wal-Mart. I been dis satisfied twice. The last time a man cut my toes I tried not to be rude and call the lady over that sits in Kevin chair and ask her can someone else do my pedicure so I wouldn't put on a scene. Yesterday I go back and she was rude very rude. The man that done my nails rush I was upset when I got my pedicure I wasn't satisfied. I was so upset I told them not to worry about the polish didn't want my eyebrows wax . I just paid and left. They have to be reminded we are the customers and there job is to satisfy us. Did they get new owners ? The customer service and work is horrible now. I had Emma twice and she was super rude. The first time I just thought " this lady must be having a bad day" but same attitude the second time I had her. She pretty much refused to do gel on my nails. After telling her "no" I don't want SNS 3 times, I finally gave up and just let her do it. I left with polish all over my fingers and cuts from her sander. The polish came off the base on my nails in 2 days.... I went back, another lady did my gel nails, and after 2 years of getting gel, I've never had it peel off so quick (1 week). It normally last 3 weeks and I could go longer if my nails didn't grow so fast. I noticed she didnt let my leave my nails under the light for more than 25-30 seconds (not the full minute). I have been going here for at least 4 years up until 3 months ago I was pretty happy with the quality of work.  Well, until today.   I came in for a pedicure.  I had to wait, which is not a problem, but was taken after others had come in.  Then I was switched to another person halfway through the pedicure.  My granddaughter went with me and she had acrylic nails done.  The shape was fine, but then she was switched to another person also.  The nail polish was bumpy and surely didn't look like a $30.00 nail job.  The prices have gone up, but NOT the quality of service.  I am very surprised and dissapointed.  I will have  to find a new place to go now. Absolutely the best Nail Salon I've ever used. The staff is always extremely nice and want to make your visit very relaxing and enjoying. Since moving here for years ago from Atlanta I really wanted to find a nice salon here locally when not traveling to Atlanta to my "go to Salon" Unfortunately this salon is not it for me. I've tried them several times and have had worse experiences then good. What recently did it for me was after going to this salon because was pretty desperate and wasn't traveling to Atl any time soon .. Anyway I clearly explained and showed pictures of the shape I wanted (coffin shape) I was in a rush or I would have stayed and had someone else completely redo them .. From the moment I told them I only wanted a polish change I got an attitude. I guess since it would only be $5 they couldn't be bothered. I even had my own nail polish; therefore, there was basically no cost to the salon. Now instead of having a long term customer who would go in for pedi's and various mani's they have one less customer. I Love this place! They do an amazing job, there may be times that you may have to wait, but I promise it's worth the wait! I am very rough on my nails and have been known to come back 3 or 4 times to have a nail fixed in between my fill in and never have I experienced frustration, they have always been very patient! This place is amazing!!! I came here with my daughter to get toes and nails done!!! They did an outstanding job!!First time here and I think this is our new nail salon we will now come to.
