I got a mani(acrylic) and pedi at the same time and it took the women the same amount of time to do my fingernails as it did my toenails. That should not happen. They did not push back my cuticles and they did not remove all of my old nail polish. I asked for a coffin shaped nail and It looks square ($3 extra). Overpriced. Went in for pedicure, $35.... Started there would be a scented spa bath... Turns out that is lukewarm water in tub with plastic liner. The technician spoke no English, so she had to ask the angry tech next to her to translate.... Which she was not happy to do. This was by far a cute salon, but that's where the compliments stop. So i normally do not write reviews but felt that need to. So i have only have been to lush 2 times. And the first time i had Andy do my nails. He is seriously the bomb.com at doing nails but today i went in and he seemed pretty swamped and i didn't want to wait so i figured what the heck I'll try someone else they won't be all that bad, well i went to be seated and the woman who did my name was Tammy, she asked me how i was and her the same and everything seemed fine, well as she's starting to do my nails i notice she's grabbing my hand a little too hard and pushing it away whenever she was ready to move onto a different hand, literally shoving my hand away, the whole time she has her nails digging into my fingers and is being so aggressive with doing my nails, she then misses a spot on the bottom of my nails and i let her know so she seems to get annoyed at this point, so then she starts being more aggressive with the tools and still shoving my hand away and grabbing my hand very forcefully, when it came time to put my polish on she takes my hand and sets it in the light for the gel polish and removes my hand and aggressively sets my hand down on the table. I got up and told Andy about the situation and he offered to fix my nails for me tomorrow and i appreciate his concerns and willingness to fix my nails for me but i was trying to go to the nail salon to relax  and the whole time i was worried about my nails they look terrible my pointer finger is crooked my pinky nail looks weird and so do my thumbs. I really liked this place when they first opened. Since then the nail techs I liked have moved on... that says a lot if the management can't keep employees happy... The last time I was there I had brought my daughter in to have one of her nails fixed and it was the WORST job I ever seen, like the tech didn't even know what she was doing. A little confused because I asked for just a fill in seeing I went to another place and got a full set just under two weeks ago... the nail tech proceeded to give me a new full set anyways even though I just wanted a fill.... they also cut my nails very short despite what I asked. Terrible experience both times I went. First time I got a full set. I prefer my nails with some length. This seemed to be an issue for the tech who was doing my nails because once I showed her where I wanted her to cut the tips, she decided to summon at least three other techs over to discuss the length I chose for MY nails. If this wasn't rude enough, they were speaking in their native language and pointing at my nails the whole time. This occurred several times during my visit, which rubbed me the wrong way. After putting my nails and acrylic on, she began to shape my nails square. I then told her I wanted a coffin shape. She appeared to be annoyed and then said that I should have told her before she put the acrylic on. That was my first time there - how was I supposed to know when to tell her that? I told her that I had never visited the salon before and she should have asked prior to putting the acrylic on since she knew HER process. She continued on, but with an unpleasant demeanor. Through it all, my nails turned out fine (so I thought at the time) so I decided I would try them again, but let another tech do my nails (I just couldn't get past the scene she created with the length I chose for MY nails). By the way, I'm not sure the tech's name, but she's the youngest one in there.Fast forward to my second vist less than a week and a half later.  I couldn't wait 2 weeks because my nails had began lifting (yes, lifting - a brand new set already lifting in less than 2 weeks...) and 2 were completely broken in half from picking up a red, plastic cup... My tech this time was a pregnant lady. Once she took my polish off, she asked me who did my nails before. I pointed to the girl seated beside her. She began talking to the the girl beside her and pointing at my nails. I asked the tech what the issue was and she tells me I should get a full set because "it's time". Huh??? I just got a new set less than 2 weeks ago. She then turns back to talking to the girl beside her and the girl beside her begins looking at me, but not saying anything (can you say rude?). I cut their convo short by telling my tech that I'm not getting a new set and asking her if we can get started because I was on lunch break. She proceeds and then after I show her the polish I want. It was regular polish, not gel. She asked me 3 times if I was sure I didn't want gel. I told her I was sure, I wanted the polish I chose. The girl beside her then decides to chime in (after staring at me and not speaking earlier) and tells me that gel looks better and that it would be best if I chose that instead. What part of I don't want gel don't you understand and why are you trying to push me to pay you more for gel when clearly that's not what I want to do...??? She finally begins her half-ass job of polishing my nails. The polish was uneven and showed every error that she made with not filing my nails correctly. I was very disappointed. Not to mention, while my nails were drying, she continued to look over at me while doing another client's nails as to say - when are you going to leave. I stayed until my nails were dry and left with her not giving me as much as a thanks or a have a nice day.Besides my salon experiences, both techs did a terrible job on my nails. It has now been 1 week and 1 day and the pictures below show the mess that is my nails. I will NEVER go back to this place and I recommend you find a professional salon that actually has courteous and skilled techs working for them or you run the risk of ending up wondering why you wasted your money on something you could have had a child do for free! I just moved to the Kennesaw area and I wanted to make sure I find a nail salon that I would love. Their location is really nice and bigger than most nail salons. The atmosphere is great and relaxing. I like to go on weekday mornings to make sure that they are not too busy. I've never been on a weekend but the workers there say that they are really busy during the weekend. For manicure, I usually get SNS and they do a pretty good job. For pedicure, I just get the basic package and regular nail polish. It would cost me about $60 without tip. I really enjoy their service so I think that's a good value for me. Don't get stuck on the same person doing your nails each time you come back. There is always someone there new. I stopped asking for a specific person because I never got them or if they are doing my nails and someone comes in that had an appointment ,they stop. My thing is this,if there is an appointment and you know it's at a certain time then don't start. My next issue is that I was getting a new set and instead of them soaking them off,they started to clip away and use another nail to take a nail off. In the process the lady cut into my nail bed. Love this place!!! From the decor to the employees. Everyone was so welcoming. I went around 5 on a Monday and it wasn't busy. I was immediately taken to the back so my nails could be worked on. I was also offered a free beverage. The decor is BEAUTIFUL!! It's definitely my aesthetics. They have really bad service and really bad product. My nails lifted in less than a week and a half. My sister's nail also broke in less than a week and a half.  When I return to the salon to talk to the manager about it, he blamed it on my nails, and said that I needed to get a whole new service at full price. Let's start from the beginning.. I walk in I waited a good 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me or what I was even there for. Finally have this man come over&I tell him I need a full set. He tells me okay one second. The one second turned into 45 minutes. I finally get sat in a chair and wait&entire whole 20 minutes. But a caucasian lady came after me&got started on before I even did. Then Andy,to the part about what length I wanted for my nails I tell him&by time he finished shaping them they're was barely any tip on my nail.&I get my nails pretty long so I was upset. Was ready to leave&he said he'd take it off for $5&redo it. I said fine because I needed my nails done so it was fine. Y'all he went&did the SAME thing again.&had a whole attitude purposely trying to hurt me with the drill, throwing my hands ant and everywhere after he was done filing, buffing anything. He messed up my cuticle and they've been in so much pain. I hate my nails I paid $53 for my nails to be completely uneven. My pink nail is longer than any other nail on my hand which is not the way to do it. My mother was a nail tech so I know exactly what has to You. This place is by far the best nail salon in the history of nail salons. Diamond in the rough away from the city. I am so thankful my usual place was closed and so I hopped on Yelp to find a new spot. If you can't already tell from the photos, it is an extremely clean environment. They offer complimentary beverages, too. They do accept walk ins, but if you are coming for the infamous ombre manicure, I highly recommend making an appointment as there is only one guy that knows how to do it. This review is for June 24th. Went in for a  Pedicure and an SNS manicure. The pedicure was okay. I went with the deluxe, which is $35. The manicure is what I am disappointed in. I went with the SNS manicure because they informed me it lasted longer than the gel manicure. Well, the guy who did my nails seemed in a rush. Didn't smooth out the powder and my nail color came out two toned, some parts more faded than others. It has been a week and they are already chipping. They are not smooth and the shaping was quickly so my nails are not evenly shaped. The gross part: after the guy was done doing my nails he proceeded to cut his own nails right in front of me. I came here with my daughter. She got a mani/pedi and I got SNS and a pedicure. The SNS service was great!  Would definitely do that again here. The only concern I have which seems to be a common problem is there not a real manicure performed. I want to find someone who pushes my cuticles back and trims the excess cuticles. This does not seem to go along with SNS services anywhere that I can find. My toes were good, however, I bumped them on a box that was left out and the repair made was not the best. I had my first visit at Lush Nail Bar in Kennesaw today. I had a gel manicure. The manicure was very basic. No scrub, no paraffin wax, no oil or lotion. Just polish removal, cuticle removal and polish application. My main complaint is that they soak your hands in a sandwich bag. I had to contort my hand, in order to keep the water on my cuticles and keep the water in the bag. It would not be too expensive to invest in some plastic bowls. you can still soak my hand in a sandwich bag but at least I wont lose all the water on the table. Additionally there is no pricing listed anywhere that I could see. I had to ask. I don't like having to ask. That said, the person who did my manicure was very sweet and she did a fine job on my polish. None on my fingers. Rarely is there no cleanup at the end. Read Less

This place certainly is lush. The pics others have posted are on point. The salon is huge and very nicely designed. It is the nicest in this area. They even have little pink chairs for kids and pedicure/manicure options just for kids.The utensils come out of a package, and the foot bath always has a fresh plastic cover. I'm now funny about those things. You would think for as nice as it is that the prices would be really high, but they are not at all. It is actually very comparable to any other place. I went for a pedicure and even though they were busy, they didn't rush. The guy even took his time with the foot massage that is part of the Deluxe package. My daughter and I drive 30 minutes away for excellent customer service. Tommy is our favorite nail professional. He is very caring and takes his time. We like to try different colors. Recently opened nail shop. To attract customers they were offering 20% off at the time I went. Super packed. I waited an hour before anyone got to me. I don't mind waiting, but no one was able to tell me when I would be attended to. Annoying. I got a gel color manicure. My tech did a decent job.
