I used to go here every now and then but I will never come back. Walked in for a pedicure, they put me in a seat, and 90 minutes later a woman finally came to do my nails. Kept thinking I should get up and leave but I was there so long I might as well wait it out. Once she started, she proceeded to bump into the polish she put on my toes SEVEN times, and each time she had to remove the polish and redo it, all the way from the base coat. Two and a half hours later I have wasted a lot of my day here and I am NOT HAPPY. Maybe they were short-staffed, but if so PLEASE TELL PEOPLE THERE IS A LONG WAIT WHEN THEY WALK IN. I had my nails done about a week ago. I sat for 2 hours. When I got there Anthony was doing a woman's nails and there were 2 other women already is pedicure chairs with 2 women already helping them. I got seated right away and a man came and glued my tips on and cut and filed them. I thought he would be the one to finish them but no. Anthony finished with the woman next to me and he kept walking by me grabbing my shoulder telling me another man will be with me in just a minut...e. Well that rocked on for about an hour. I was just about ready to leave when another man finally came to finish my nails. He was rough. He made my pinky bleed. He rubbed my finger so raw with the file on the tip I had a small blister the next day. I have never had anyone file on my nails as long as he did with the electric grinder tool. Especially for them to be all different thicknesses. Some were VERY thick and others were like they were supposed to be. All of them were misshaped and all of them but my thumbnails started lifting after just 2 days and today I had one nail come completely off by itself. At the end he rubbed lotion on my hands and arms and turned my wrists red because of how hard he was squeezing plus I had to wipe excessive lotion off of me before I could even pick my wallet up. Do NOT waste your time. First time I went there I did SNS nails, After one week about half of them had lifted so I went back showed them where they were all lifting at the bottom they did a filling in it with a different color charged me $35 left a seven dollar tip and after three days on had broken three had lifted I even glued back the one that had lifted the worst was super nail glue. So a week and a half later I go back again after I’ve spent about $100 at this place tell them I do not like the SNS nails they’re horrible they come off I showed them where all of them had lifted broken etc. told them just to regular acrylic nails so they put acrylic nails on with the white tips and left my hands completely covered in acrylic and glitter from the last color I had on my nails they look horrible you can see piece of hair stuck in one of the nails from the brush just absolute horrible job. Worst place to get your nails done in Jasper! Had my nails on for 4 days and FIVE of them were lifting and then eventually came off after a week. If I could give less than one star I would. Today I went to Royal Nails for the first time with my mom. I needed a full set, my mom needed a fill in. The owner was very friendly gave me the price before we started which was $73 for my mom's nails and my nails. I was sat with a older gentleman, who was very rude, did not speak the entire time, and was really rough on my nails with the grinder. I picked a gel nail color, and told him I wanted the stiletto shape, with length. ... He started doing my nails, and next thing I know he's burning me with the grinding, and trying to grind my cuticles off. I told him no 3 times he did it anyway. He cut me 3 times, with the nail grinder. Then put acetone on the open cuts which burned like heck! Also had the gel polish, and acrylic all over my nails. I told him I wanted longer nails. I ended up with short, mix matched shape, cut up nails! By the time everything was done, the original price $73 went up to $100. I'm very upset with my visit here. I'm having to go to another salon just to get these hack job nails fixed, spending more money. Because my nail tech at Royal Nails did not want to listen or fix any imperfections that he CAUSED! The first time I came here it was amazing they did a fantastic job and the price was very reasonable. Today not so much. I got a mani pedi. My pedicure looks absolutely gorgeous and they did a wonderful job. Now on my manicure not at all. Now granted I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. However my nails were shaped differently than I instructed and the nail polish was painted too thinly on. Also the sides of my nails did not get painted even after I asked for them to get retouched. I ended up buying my color so I could fix them when I got home. So for a pedicure I recommend this place highly but a manicure probably not the best idea. Read Less

By far the worse experience I have ever had at a nail salon. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait. We waited so long the water in the tub became freezing cold over an hour.... Due to taking so long to wait I requested a basic pedi and when I went to pay... Found out how over priced they are. I have never paid so much for such poor service. I went for the first time 2 weeks ago, the inside was nice and calm not loud and the set up was very nice, I didn't feel crowded and bombarded with people as I walked in. My mom and I just got a polish change on our toes hers look really good, mine on the other hand could have used another coat of the color I picked out, also the woman who did it cut my toenails down and kind of filed them, but they were still rough and I had to file them so they wouldn't get stuck to things.... Also I go my nails done, I tried SNS nails for the first time to see if it really makes a difference. First off I wanted a coordinating color on my ring finger and she told me 'no, we don't do that' I was a little put out with that because all you have to do is dip 1 finger into another color and another thing, I like my nails on the short side and even though I kept asking she would say 'you don't want them to short' or even ask why. Kind of irritating. I mean does it really matter why I want them short? No it's my business. I think the lady who did my nails did an okay job, she seemed sweet however she made a few uneven and I have chunks of dried acrylic under some of my nails! I wouldn't use this salon as my go to salon but if I had to have them done and no where else was open I would go to Royal. Read Less

I've been using this salon for over a year now and have always had good experiences. I always call to schedule an appointment and found they are ready for me. I just had an amazing pedicure. When I made the appointment I requested a pedicure and foot massage. There was a time or two I felt he was "digging" too hard on the sides of my big toes working the cuticles, but the rest was great! Warm soaks, hot rocks and an excellent foot massage. I've always received good care, friendly staff and clean. I'll definitely continue using them. Read Less

The past 2 times i have been for pedicures one in November and now this one in December was done by the same guy he is very nice but not pleased with the job he has done..Everything has come off my toes onto my socks he told me they were dry enough i was there an hour and a half..The polish was put on so thick and gauty it did not look good.Very unhappy Read Less

Tried to treat myself for my birthday today, my pedicure was great but got my nails done they look horrible the 3 middle nails on my right hand are crooked (very noticeably crooked) and bulging out the side over my cuticle, I mentioned this several times it was never fixed, plus he cut me 4 times(and placed the bit back in the drawer) and the products are attached to the skin underneath my nail.... I came before for mothers day and it was great but after today I will not get my nails done here again I am having to get them fixed elsewhere and pay MORE money!
