Receptionist so unorganized and even though they have a lot of people working they take a long time to get started with you. They need to be more organized with people that have appointments and not have them wait an extra hour. They need to clean up more, seems like they care about the money more than anything else. Haven't been impressed with this place yet... it's always packed and they never go by the order you sign in. Just walked out after myself and four other people had signed in and been waiting patiently when two women walked in and obnoxiously stated "You gotta get me in I'm not waiting here all day" after rudely pushing past two people ahead of her to pick her polish and the lady instantly told her to go to a chair. The last two times I came here while the brow waxing was decent I was unimpressed with the mani and pedi... it was rushed and the polish looked like the job of a two year old... not to mention my heels were still dry when I got home after paying for the top pedi. Wont be back. Thanks for giving me the push I needed to find somewhere with better service and consideration of my time. Well I have been here twice and both times I have had to redo my nails. I asked for American tips and I got white nails. Now I have to either live with this for a month or paint them or get them done again at another place. That's another amount I will have to pay... pissed isn't the word. Read Less

Went there Saturday to get my nails done for the first time as recommended by my friend. Was not happy with the results first but Mary fixed it the next day without hesitation! I have mixed feelings about this place. When I come alone, I have no problem getting sat down, and I'm in and out in less than an hour. However, when I come with someone else it becomes a complete waste of my time. It's not that the work they do isn't good, it's just poorly managed. I always request pedicures, whether we sit next to each other is not an issue. However, it doesn't matter if I make an appointment or not, I have never walked in with someone with me and sat right down. I have had an appointment and waited for 30+ minutes, and then told the next time I came I would sit right down. The next time I would come in, I would have to wait for up to an hour because people made appointments. Today was the tipping point for me. I convinced my mom to come out here from Lithia Springs with me, since I was overdue for a pedi. We are told we have the next chairs. After waiting for 20 minutes, another pair walks in and says they have an appointment for 2 at 2 (it was 1:45). They are sat before us, even though it was not time for their appointment. I just left. I will not be returning, alone or not. I have given this place many chances (more than a year) and the bad just outweighs the good in this circumstance. Read Less

Today I went for a pedicure and the lady cut my cuticle off so fast it started to bleed extremely bad it wouldn't stop well it still hasn't stopped and that's been over an hour ago. You could potentially have a good or great experience here IF you're ever acknowledged. Regardless of what for, every time I come in, someone says hello and seats me--sometimes they start taking off my old polish (leaving my fingers in acetone and aluminum foil for 15+ minutes) or they'll put me in a pedi chair and leave me sitting for 15+ in scalding hot/freezing cold water (because no one bothers to ask if you're comfortable). Today I came in at 12 (opening time) only for brow waxing because I know how slow this place is. Mary (owner/representative of store) greeted me and directed me toward the back where the waxing room is located. Mind you, the waiting area is in the hallway where all the employees are literally struggling to walk past me, so I know they know I'm here. All the other customers (including the people who came after me) were seated and had their services started. I waited. Waited more. After nearly 20 minutes I walked out. Mary was doing someone else's nails by the door and asked why I was leaving, I told her it was crazy that people who came in after me had been started on (especially when I know for a fact they will leave you in polish remover for 15 minutes to go work on someone else). She tried to say "oh I'm so sorry" but I'm truly sick of apologies from Hiram Nail Spa and if I'm personally not experiencing a problem, it seems like another customer is, and this is every single time I come in. Went in yesterday at 10:15am needing threading, pedi and fill in gel polish. Sat in water for 31 mins as they didnt start til 10:46am. Owner told tech do my pedi n fill. She will do eyebrows after. In middle of pedi another customer asks my tech to do her nails. So after awhile my tech ask what all i needed done as if she didnt know smh then says the guy next to her will do because other customer wants her..Wtf really..any ways i get my fill which Tony the tech did great on by the way. Now its 12:15 i ask about my eyebrows. Was told soon as u finish we will do. Soon as he finished which waa 12:30 by now. Oh we sorry we to busy to do. I really like Hiram nails been going there off and on for about three years now. I know their potential. I frequent other locations when I don't feel like being packed in. I came here today for a manicure with Gel polish and a pedicure. They had a wait and told me they would text me when they were ready for me. I didn't wait long. Tim did my pedicure and Kim did my manicure. They both did an awesome job. Even though it was busy they were organized and everyone was working. They had A lot of technicians. I will be going back again! Make sure you bring cash for a tip... I didn't have any so I couldn't today... but they deserved it. Prices are reasonable to me 50 for both of my services. Updated: I had to update my review and take back one star because my gel polish lifted and peeled in about 4 days. The workers are very kind and so far, I have been very pleased each timeI have had my nails done there. I do think the salon itself needs a MAJOR UPDATE AND CLEANING. It is very dirty. The back area where you get your eyebrows done is really disgusting. There is some sort of pink drink splashed on the wall, the mismatched rugs are always filthy and the bed where you lay down for eyelashes is covered with random quilts and bath towels that look like they came out of someone's house or the thrift store. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Okay , so about a year ago I fell in love with this place . FINALLY a nail salon in metro ATL that does my nails RIGHT and affordable .
