I've been coming here for a few months and I liked this place, close to home and pretty ok service. So I decided to go on my birthday to get a pedicure and manicure, hoping for a good experience. Everything was fine until not one, but BOTH of my big toes were cut, to point they were bleeding. I didn't make a fuss to see what her reaction would be, she just put my feet in the water and continued on. She put some ointment on but never asked if I was ok or if it was hurting me. The ratings from others looked good so I decided to try it for a pedicure. It's not in a convenient location. The guy at the desk was friendly, but the lady doing the pedicure was not. She did not smile and kept watching soap operas that were on the nearby tv. She was a little rough, too, when trimming cuticles. I got a couple nicks. The sugar scrub & lotion was the best part. THE BEST nail salon in Hinesville in my view! Good service and affordable prices. Very clean and not to crowded. A+ for me! A pedicure only $20 and just polish on your nails $5. Even gives water while you are relaxing getting your nails done. I would come here again.😁 Read Less

My husband and I came in today (Wednesday) around 3pm and was not busy at all which was good! No waiting and was greeted as soon as we walked in. I came in for a full acrylic set and a pedicure and my husband just got a pedicure as well. It was clean and comfortable along with them giving you complimentary water. I had a guy do my pedicure which was so relaxing and he did a great job while making sure nothing hurt in the process and if it looked okay. Another guy did my acrylic nails but didn't talk very much and felt like he wasn't doing everything that needed to be done for my nails. He didn't clean my cuticles and didn't clean or fix the skin around my nails before applying the acrylic nails. Although my nails did come out pretty good considering those things weren't done. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! ONLY REASON THEY GOT 1 STAR IS BECAUSE I HAD TO RATE THEM TO WRITE A REVIEW! I needed a full set so I showed them what I wanted and the lady said okay. Half way through her putting the tips on, she switched with a male. He finished the rest of the process. I had to show him the shape I wanted and he nodded his head. As he was cutting the tips to make them rounded, I let him know they were not even and even crooked. He looked at me again and said "yes, I see". He fixed ONE! He puts the acrylic on SOOO thick. I tried to get him to file the sides a little because it made my nails look really fat. He did it on a few but stopped and I looked at them, they were still terrible. I said this is nothing what I wanted! He literally looked at me and said "That will be $28." I was so mad! I walked out after paying. I then decided to call and speak with the owner, he had me come in to compare my nails with the picture of what I wanted. He told me there was nothing he could do about it because it "basically" looked the same! IT DID NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO LOOKING THE SAME!!! Then he offered to change the nail polish for $18. I was so mad that I already gave this company my money to begin with and I told him I'll take my money elsewhere! Also while I was there, there was no other customers and the employees were all sitting in the chairs watching a movie. This movie was SO loud I literally could not hear my friend right beside me. They did a great job with the pedicure and if I were to rate them solely off of that this place would have gotten 5 stars. There are tons and I mean tons of colors to chose from and many different brands of polish as well. LV Hair & Nails was very clean and coming in on a Monday morning there was no wait. I loved the way they did my pedicure so I'll come back for that but I would love it if they were a little more friendly, I mean thank goodness I had my mom along with me for conversation or else it would have just been dead silent. Their shop was very clean.They had outstanding customer service. Every employee was very nice, they even got me something to drink! Hanna did a great job on my pedicure! I've been in hinesville for awhile now and went to the same nail salon every two weeks, I decided to try this place and this place by far is so much better! I was really happy with my pedicure and overlay fill/shellac today. I had tried another area nail shop, as well as one in Richmond Hill and was not happy at either place. Today, I was more than pleased at LV Hair and Nails. The gentleman who did my nails really took his time, paid attention to detail and fixed all the mistakes that were made at the nail shop in Richmond Hill (missing the sides and tips of my nails with paint, bubbley/lumpy polish and acrylic). I like my nail short and he is the first nail tech to ever listen! I was pleasantly surprised with the price, best price I've ever paid for a manicure and pedicure and some of the best work. A nice young lady, who later did my pedicure, brought me a bottle of water too, which I thought was nice. They also offer a punch card! Great spot, definitely returning in two weeks! Thanks!! It's neat, clean, modern yet relaxed and welcoming. Jeff made my acrylic nails look amazing but unfortunately, they would start lifting in 2 to 3 days. He did my nails about 5 or 6 times and this was the case each time.  Not sure if it's his technique or product but he always made excuses for the lifting..."it's because of the length or the shape..." Sorry, but that's not true, have been getting acrylics  for many years and have had stiletto nails three inches long, no lifting even after 3 weeks. I hate when salon techs make excuses instead of fixing the problem. Really should value customers more and focus on treating them right. It will earn their loyalty and referrals. This was a great atmosphere to come get your nails done. I was in town for a family wedding and they saved the day by allowing me to get my nails done last minute. Very clean and fast at their job. Not too busy for a Saturday morning and helped me get in and out quickly to make the wedding! The people were very friendly and nice. I love this place it's very clean and relaxing the people are very nice and always pleasant. They have a separate room for waxing where you lay down on a comfortable chair even if your just getting your eyebrows waxed, they have always done a great job on my eyebrows they do exactly what I want. I would recommend this place to anyone! they are super friendly and do a Great Job! The prices are reasonable and the environment is clean and inviting, they place good music while you get your nails done and also play utube videos to watch, plus free wifi.
