This is the worst nail place I have ever been to. I guess I came at the wrong day and time because I saw two employees arguing and yelling at each others throats, literally. I felt very uncomfortable and I wasn't the only one there that felt the same way. They did a horrible job on my mani and pedi. Terrible customer service! Made an appointment with my wife the day before since we were on a time crunch. They open at 930 but said they would be there at 0900. They were not so we got coffee next door. 915-920 checked and they were open. People seated and being worked on we came in said we had an appointment and they seated us. Gave us the price list. Sat for 20+min when I asked why there was a 3-4 dollar difference for a men and woman they didn't want to answer at first. I asked if they used different products for men and if they could show me the different products. The response I got was if you don't like our prices you can go somewhere else! Seriously?! Sexist crooks. They didn't even try to make some lame excuse like men's feet tend to be bigger or something like that. As in they would need more product. One tried to say it's because men come in less often.Please boycott this business as they have no concept of fairness. Read Less

Very relaxing pedi! Place is clean, people are nice and prices reasonable. Only odd thing is the eyebrow waxing chair, it's a rolling chair with a pillow. So a little uncomfortable but the eyebrow wax was probable the least painful one I have ever had.Will be coming back! Read Less

Went in for a manicure gel and was given amazing customer service. She did an amazing job and took time to make sure the color was dark enough even though she had other customers waiting. Typical nail salons will rush and make mistakes and over file my nails. Just found my new regular nail salon! Read Less

This place is an inconvenient location for me because I live in the downtown Augusta area. However, I've found that it's always worth the drive and now I don't even hesitate. It takes less time to drive here and get taken care of immediately than to go to another place and sit around in a chair for who knows how long! The quality of their manicures and pedicures is some of the best I've experienced. They always look great, everything is very clean and the entire staff is incredibly friendly. The nail tech there Michael, I like him. He's thorough with his job. It's never rushed & sloppy. I've been a frequent at this shop for about 3 months now. The reason being is because of the convenient location. This shop is literally two blocks from my house. As often as I come here though, I don't think it'll be my "nail home" so-to-speak. I don't think any of these people even know who I am (or care to). On top of that, the owner is pretty careless with business hours in the morning. I came by at 9am because the "open" was flashing. We were turned around by some male employee (I believe her husband) and told to come back at 10 because that's when she was gonna come in. The H.O.O says they open at 9:30 though. Just went in for the first time today and I honestly have to admit that this was the best nail salon experience I have ever had in my life! They were so friendly and polite. They didn't treat me like I was being bother to them and they paid attention to my requests and comments. Stopped by here yesterday for the second time. I don't have any complaints!  The first time my mani/pedi was completed by Pia, who was super sweet!  Yesterday Janessa did my pedi and Irina my mani. I chose the SNS French mani and I'm in love. I'm a newbie to the nail world and Irina took her time to explain the differences and recommended the SNS bc my nails are thin and brittle and it would be good for them. As a side note, the conversation I heard about the other young lady, Pia, was that she returned to school and wasn't working. I'll be returning. This is the BEST shop on this side of town... I got stilleto full set ,ultimate pedicure with paraffin wax and nail design.... They also worked on me at the same time so I was In & out in an hour tops! Jen and Sam were more than nice offering me a choice of beverage and showed me so much hospitality... Jen was very professional and customer service oriented making sure I was pleased with my service at the end of it and rebooking me for a 2 week appointment.. They have a relaxing atmosphere and lavender fragrant aroma that flows throughout the shop,from the lotion they use to the sugar scrub and candles. I've been to this shop several times including with my kids and they always made me & my children feel welcomed. They have multicultural workers in the shop from different walks of life and I am military so this makes me feel right at home!! I learned while I was there that the owner Sam is in the Military serving our Country and to me that speaks Volumes!!! I will refer all my friends in Augusta and the Grovetown area to come here for a Friendly,relaxing and enjoyable experience at Golden Nails!!!! Read Less
