This was the worst experience I have had by far at a nail salon! I have given it a chance many times and each time I always ask myself "why did I do that again?" This was the last time and I will NOT go back! I received the pedicure that they advertise as a 1 hour service (which you pay extra for) and she flew through it all so fast, I was finished in maybe 20 minutes! I was very disappointed! I also asked for gel nails and they are the WORST! I have only had them for two days and they look like Iv had them for two weeks. The sides of my nails aren't even painted. I have been to this place before and had a good experience. However, I went about 4 wks ago and the technician that did my nails was not a very happy person and was kind of rude. Today, I decided to make an appointment with a different technician. My appointment was for 10:30. I took my lunch hour to go and when I got there the technician that I made the appointment with was not there. The only other technician that does SNS was busy with another client. Bad business. I have been to this spa a few times. I normally get the gel. She talked me into the "all natural" "S&S" which is similar to gel. I picked out color 351, which was a white cream color from the wheel. I not only said 351 but pointed to the color specifically. The 351 she painted was a completely different color-bumble gum pink. Unbeknownst to me, there were TWO 351s of different colors on the wheel they gave me to choose from. Because I had never had this type of polish, I thought the pink she was painting was the base color. Wrong. When I said this was not the color, she grabbed the wheel and pointed to a different color, also numbered 351. No discount was offered at all and the owner argued with me, telling me the other 351 was THE 351, as if I should have known that all along. Unbelievable. I saw someone else had the same issue as me with the gift certificate, my gift certificate ran out while, I had a baby, changed jobs, all my family lives in florida and have 3 family members pass away, I will never recomend this place! I also tried to talk to them on the phone and they hung up on me.....also bad customer service, I was calm when talking to them so i see no reason as to why the rude person hung up on me................DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was given a gift certificate for Dream Nail Day Spa in Gainesville and did not notice that the expiration date was 6 months after the purchase date as opposed to the usual year. Although the certificate had expired, I hoped that the spa would honor the gift certificate that was within a year. Unfortunately, the owner would not consider honoring the gift certificate. I was very disappointed with the owner's decision and ability to be flexible in this case. I think this is terrible customer service and will not be going back or recommending it to others. this is the BEST nail salon in Gainesville!! The service is fantastic, the place is always CLEAN, and the treatments are better than I could have asked for! I've had the manicures, pedicures, massages, and a wrap once, but the microdermabrasions keep me in there once a month. Sam does the microdermabrasion treatment on me and keeps my face shiny and smooth! These are better than Atlanta, in my opinion. Awesome!! Never have to wait to get my nails done either. THE BEST!
