First time I went to this place was a couple of years back, I was not satisfied. Second time I went I wasn’t really wanting to go there but it was 4days before Easter and decide to give it another chance. I asked for a mani and pedi and also eyebrow. They did more massaging on my legs than they did the pedi thing. Then I get my mani and I asked for “coffin” and got something else also the lady cut my nails all wrong and when I told her about it her response was “is ok” 😑. She didn’t even mention the eyebrow wax and thank God she didn’t because I probably would of walked out eyebrowless. I still tipped her although I did not like the job she did. And to make things worse 4 nails broke before Easter🤬 I was mad! I returned Monday to let them know and she made it seem like it was my fault that they broke, Ana’s they broke AGAIN!! ... What I asked for and what I received are two different things. I always do pink and white gel (sometimes I ask for color over the gel). When I visited the last time - I asked for a fill-in and red polish as well as a pedicure. I am a student at UNG - so time is always an issue. I did not have time to correct the issue once it was apparent - the girl was removing all the gel - and only giving me a polish. This was last week. Already - my nails are broken - and the color has chipped away. They didn't even recognize that I asked for a pedicure as well. The girl who did my nails didn't understand my instructions. For example - please shape "oval". I was not happy and reluctantly paid for the service. Working full time and going to school do not allow for extra time with luxuries - so I will not "WASTE" my time going back to this salon. Read Less

Their prices went up but their quality did not. It's a 50/50 chance every time. I gave them more opportunities than I should of, only stayed there because of their previous prices. Definitely will go find a better place now. Read Less

They are very friendly but the place is dirty and the equipment is old. I do SNS and have complained numerous times that the nails are too thin. They keep breaking. I have experienced the straw that broke my back. This last break, after I told her I was going on vacation and to please make sure she's doing a good job, was the last one. I won't go back. My first ever beauty service was microblading by the lovely Varbie, and she made sure it was a comfortable experience for me. Very attentive to personal style/preference and explaining everything. It definitely took away the intimidating thought of microblading. It was actually barely painful for me throughout the entire process, Varbie was awesome for reapplying the anesthetic cream! tbh I fell asleep for part of it. I can't wait for my touch up coming up! Love it ! I recently moved to Winnipeg. Looked up and did multiple research lists about each studio in town. Finally picked Wink studio . Honestly beyond happy with my Microblading service! My sister treated me to a pedicure here. She had one too, as well as manicure with nail set. Her nails (I think gel tips) were done sloppily. She was very disappointed. My pedicure was decent. My toenails looked good and I enjoyed most of the treatment. The foot massage wasn't anything to get excited about, there wasn't much of one. Not pleased with my powder nail polish manicure. They filed my nails square without asking and that is not my preferred shape. They didn't sand the color down after painting to soothe the nail. The edges are sloppy and they did nothing to help with my cuticles. My pedicure was alright, nothing I would come back for. If my requested services are about $50 and an hour of all our time, I appreciate a bit more attention to detail.Read Less

First of all I love the staff @ winks studio they are great @ there job, they know what customer service is all about. I went in there not knowing what I wanted to do with my brows. Varbie was so professional she took the time and explained what she could do for me. About month later I got the microblading done and I never been so happy. I had people say to me you look different I just smiled. I believe that if no one notice what it is then it is done right. Dirty. Very Dirty. I keep questioning why I didn't get up and walk out. It was also very dark, I assume to hide more of the nasty atmosphere but also to conceal the terrible job they did painting my nails. That's right, painting finger nails with a gel polish seemed far to advance for these ladies. Both myself and my mom walked out with polish all over our fingers and missing polished spots on our nails. How does that happen??? After struggling for years w/ uneven, patchy eyebrows and finding someone to actually fix them, THX to Varbie and Wink Studio I looove them! So natural looking. I absolutely love wink! The staff are so friendly and professional! I have been going to wink for about a year and half and I have never been more happy about how easy lash extensions makes my life! On regular days I can just roll outa bed and look amazing while the nights that I have events I can dress them up with some make up and be just as happy. I've also had the most random compliments from people in line at the grocery store, the mall, and a lot of my friends. I also t...hat them done for my bachelorette party in Vegas and my wedding and got extra drama, they photographed amazing!!! They also last a long time! I recently returned home from month long honeymoon to Europe and they made life so easy when traveling and looked great the entire time. I usually get them done about every month and they don't tend the ahead until the last week. I don't really understand how people can have their lashes fall out in a matter of days unless they just don't take care of them (dirt and oil have a tendency to reduce the longevity of the extensions).
