My daughter and I got pedicures. They were pretty busy but the wait was not long. The staff is very professional and polite. I am disabled and they helped me In and out of the professional chair. Also had some hair removal on my face. I did not make an appointment we just walked in. I just got my nails done at Nail Art with my mom. Customer service was FABULOUS. I felt has a very relaxed and was welcomed. My technician took her time, not rushed like most places done. My friend and I hosted a joint b-day party at Nail Art. I wish I lived in Fort Oglethorpe so I could get my nails done here all the time. They gave me lots of good advises. I haven't seen any better place here. On Halloween, my friend took me to Nail Art in Oglethorpe to do polished my fingernails. My technician painted my nails very bright. Their glowing made me surprised. I am very happy with the quiet space here. The girls were very gentle with my pedicures. This place is better than people think. Nail Art is amazing! I will definitely return! Very clean and elegant. I liked that a soon as we came in we were given water. The nail color options weren't over bearing. I tend to get anxious when there are a ton of colors to pick from. There was a nice selection of colors to choose from and I like that the colors were in/trendy. I also enjoyed the choice of music. I had heard good reviews about this salon. My first visit was on Friday, April 3. It was very busy and there was a 40 minute wait, but I knew this would be the case since it was Good Friday. I was seated at a pedicure station where the pedicurist at the next station proceeded to run the water into the tub. It was scalding hot and when I told her, she changed it to cold. Hating to be difficult, also since she was not friendly at all, I didn't say anything and the hot and cold water mingled, making it only lukewarm. Finally, my pedicurist arrived. She was very young and had her phone in her pocket with earbuds around her neck. She began the pedicure. Immediately, while working on the cuticles, she "stabbed" the side of my big toe in the quick and it began to bleed. All she said was sorry and applied some liquid to try to stop the bleeding. I should have left then, but I didn't. The nails were not very long but did need trimming, which she did not do. So, they were uneven. I chose the pedicure which is the one above the basic. The pedicure was supposed to last 40 minutes, but I may as well have gotten the basic, since my pedicure was shorter than the 30 minutes. She polished the nails and, as she was putting on my sandals, she rubbed the polish off of a couple of toes and had to re-do it. Oh, and I failed to mention that throughout the pedicure, she kept getting text messages, so she would stop and read them. This must have happened 8 or 10 times. As if this wasn't bad enough, I got an eyebrow wax and she didn't even pluck the eyebrows which weren't removed by the wax. I didn't realize this until I got home and had to finish it myself. I also got a manicure, but I only wanted clear polish. So, she placed me at a manicure station and was clipping my nails when the manager sent her to do a pedicure and the "unfriendly" lady came to finish my nails. No personality whatsoever!!!!!! She filed my nails, but I had to redo them also since they were filed straight across and were uneven. I am glad I only got the clear polish, because with this type service, there is no telling how badly the manicure would have looked! I paid and should have complained, but I didn't. I am just saying my first experience with this salon was very disappointing. I will never go back. Possibly, I just had the two worst manicurists/pedicurists who work there. However, I do not want to chance this type service again. My toe has hurt since the incident and it will take it days to heal. In the meantime, I am in pain.
