They were very rude! They kept trying to upsell me! I said I wanted acrylic nails and they argued with me multiple times to get gels, they finally stopped when I started to get aggravated. Then, she tried selling me getting my cuticles done and at first she said it was 8 dollars more and I said no. Then she said for you I will do 5$. When it was normally 5$! Not to mention they were rough on my fingers! I felt them crack from her pulling on them. It was a very uncomfortable and expensive experience. My pedi was great. However my acrylics not so much. They are way too thick, uneven, and the polish is so messy. The gentleman who did them was very rough and didn’t not seem to really care. Don't go here! I asked for a mani pedi for my mom who was visiting from Boston I ended up spending almost 200 dollars. Mani includes cuticle cutting the rep told me its 5 dollars more. I told the technician I only wanted a mani pedi and didn't want to spend alot of money they started talking in their native language. I understand upselling bc I work in sales but u can go right down the street to a better nail salon that treats u better. It was a very uncomfortable visit where it should have been a great experience I did not enjoy it. The nail tech cut me where I was bleeding from my thumb.they are very aggressive in if you ask for something and u say no to their suggestion they make u feel bad for them. I am a veteran and i will never come here again. My husband is also a veteran and we shop and support this community very much but this nail shop will and have taken advantage of the good ppl of hall county. There has been some ups and downs over the years here, but I will say the current owners are the best yet. It is pricier than some salons, but I justify it by end result. I have tried this place about two or three times and every time I go, I tell myself that this is the last time. I can’t stand the attitude of the people who work there which is probably a reflection of the pressure put on them, by management, to charge as much as they can to customers. Whatever service you ask for, they always try to get you to at least one higher and costly level. How do they do this? By lying and telling you, for example, that the pedicure you ask for does not include things that were included the last time you were there. But of course they don’t know this, and the last guy I had lied and and aggressively argued with me about his recommendation as opposed to what I wanted. They present themselves as experts which they are not, and when you disagree, they proceed to try to take control by acting in an authoritarian manner. From the moment I walked in, the lady guiding me to the pedicure chair was giving orders in a forceful way, telling me where to sit, how to put legs in tub, as if you never had a pedicure before, telling me what not to do, etc. getting you used to taking orders, all this not in a pleasant friendly way but in a very controlling way. Then this guy shows up who tried to tell me what I needed to get. When I said politely “no I don’t want that, I want this,” he proceed to get frustrated and insist strongly that he knows best, trying to sell me something I didn’t want. I can see many people giving in, just to get him off their backs. But since I was firm, giving my previous experience at this place, I was not moved. Finally he gave up and proceeded to do the pedicure. Not a happy camper. At the end , we had another back and forth when he tried to say that the reason he did not do something was because of the way my feet were, the most absurd and ridiculous excuse for something that in all my life of having pedicures, no one else has said and always performed. So I’ve had enough of this nail place and will Never go back. You would think that they would wonder every once in a while why so many customers do not come back. But they don’t, instead they continue with their high pressure, forceful ways to get you to spend as much money as possible when in fact they would do much better increasing their customer base by taking no for an answer and having a much higher ability to retain customers instead of driving them away. I like to relax when I go to have a pedicure, not to fight with someone who is using strong tactics to get me to spend more money. Who needs this experience! Go at your own peril. Read Less

My daughter and I went in for a fill in (her) and a gel mani (me). My daughter waited a little too long to get her acrylic fill-in done so she had to get a new set. No biggie. Two of the nails broke within the first few days. She broke a total of three nails in two weeks. She has never broken a nail before!! Additionally, we chose this place because they had matte top coat. The top coat was NOT matte. More like a satin finish. AND the tech didn't get it all the way to the bottom of her polish on half her nails, so there was a shiny strip beneath the "matte" part. The gel polish they applied looked pretty terrible. Very lumpy and had some divots/craters in it. The woman in charge looked at my daughter's hand and basically said how good they looked ... she looked right at all those mistakes and said it looked good lol. Her full set with gel polish and matte top coat was around $40. My gel mani ... the tech was very rough when removing my existing gel polish. So much so that I broke a nail for the first time since switching to gel polish manis. She did not paint all the way down to the cuticle. She did not buff the bottom of my nail bed. This led to the polish lifting within a matter of DAYS. $30 for the gel mani. We spent $70 on two bad jobs by two different people and the person in charge said it looked good. Let that sink in. Seriously save yourself $70 and go somewhere else. Got gel paint on fingernails (no manicure) and a gel pedicure. Cost me $30 each? Way overpriced for the service you recieve. For whatever reason this place gets a bad wrap but I have been going here for years and always have a great experience.  It feels clean, plays some rad 80's+ music, usually has House Hunters on the tv and is super relaxing.  Lily has been doing my nails for a while and I have been very pleased.  Owh- and they do have wine.  Just sayin. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want a regular spa pedicure, get ready to repeatedly say that's all you want- no extras. All I wanted was a mani/pedi and I am extremely particular about my nail length (I don't like my nails to be long) and I told the lady I wanted them short and she said she wouldn't do them short because the nail file might hurt my fingers.... I happened to be in the area with extra time on my hands and needed a fill in. I should've found something else to do with my hour. The tech butchered my nails. I asked for a rounded square and expressed that I like my nails more thin and natural so as to avoid a nail job I didn't like. The end result was thick, uneven,round globs. Not to mention cuts around cuticle; very unflattering look. I used to come to this salon before moving and never had a problem with Michael, but he is long gone. A basic pedicure and fill in cost $62 before tip and both left a lot to be desired. I will be taking these nails off and going back to my (new) regular salon for a proper looking set. Read Less

Today I went here with ten young girls between the ages of 11-15 years old. As soon as we got there they began rushing us around as we were trying to tell them the whole party had not arrived yet. They then began to physically pull us by the arms and make us start without the final person. Keep in mind we called days before so they were prepared for us. As soon as we got in the chairs they seemed rushed. The adults of the group left to get coffee so just the children were present. By the time they walked to get coffee most of the girls were done. The gel nails had bubbles and numbs in them and were not cleanly painted and they painted on their cuticles and their skin. Another issue was one of the massage chairs wasn't working and they did not tell the person in it they just allowed them to sit there. The designs they put on their toes were sloppy and ugly. They also were not very polite one nail technician put her earbuds in and was texting while doing their nails. For the price they charge it was not worth the crumby service and nails. Read Less

And, the pricing is on the high side.The quality of work on my nails and toes is good, but no better than other less expensive shops. By the end of my massage (that I didn't really want) my skin felt raw from the sugar and I felt like I had been through a blender. I went in for a full set and a pedi. When I told the girl I just want a basic acrylic full set, she said "you need gel, it's better". I kept telling her I just want the regular acrylic and she kept saying "but it's not good for your nails and this is better"! Yeah! Cuz it's $40 more!!! What the heck lady??? My daughter and I were walk-ins here two weeks ago and were extremely pleased with the outcome (manis and pedis). Everyone was very professional and accommodating to us. Did I mention they were very busy! My feet are painfully sensitive and the nail person understood and acted accordingly. Many nail places just don't get it, and I've suffered through the procedure. I regularly use Beellagio Nail Bar & Spa. I LOVE the results. I learned about nail gel a few months back and won't do anything else now. It's more durable, and they dry immediately. I went into this salon in hopes of having a different experience than that of those with poor reviews. However, I have to agree with all those poor reviews. I went in for a gel mani and pedi and not only got the rude customer service (I mean really rude) but also the add ons after I asked for the basic package. Not to mention the horrible job done with the polish on my toes. The last coat of polish she rushed on, therefore it didn't cover the entire nail so looks ugly. As for... my gel mani, the lady got mad and walked away into a room where she closed the door and I could just hear her talking. I asked the lady doing my pedi if she was mad because I asked her to get the edges on my nails good and she said she's just tired. Lady doing my pedi asked if I wanted her to finish my hands since the other lady painted one nail and then walked away mad. The lady ended up coming back and did make sure to leave my nails the way I like them but after clearly getting mad and being rude.
