I usually like this place but my last visit made me second guess. A lady had been waiting for her scheduled appointment and got upset and calmy explained to the tech who in turn got loud with the customer. I understand things happen but some one has the right to be upset when you are already running late then you stop in the middle of their appointment to wax another person eyebrows. Employees, atmosphere, and service! You will feel very comfortable and relaxed at this nail spa. Usually, there is not a horrible wait. If you do have to wait, you are offered iced lemonade, and assured the wait won't be long. Everyone is glad to see you, and you feel it when you walk in. They give people discounts for 5 star reviews,I've never had someone rush through my nails so fast, she kept hitting my skin with the drill and didn't take time filling in with the acrylic but at first even she finished they looked decent I don't know if it's the lighting in this place or what but once i got outside in the light i saw how uneven and lumpy my nails were, and this was a birthday gift. First off, the reason reviews are high is because they have a sign saying you get $3 off for a 5 star review. That's just not right to me. I went to this shop thinking they genuinely had good reviews. I went ahead and got my nails did, and less than a week later the paint is peeling. I haven't don't anything out of ordinary for them to look like as bad as they do. Also, I've had better quality acrylic done at other places. My nails look lumpy and one is a little crooked. I g...ot my feet done too, but my two big toes have paint coming off. I was told that after letting them dry for 5 minutes under the dryer they would be fine. But I chose to stay under the dryer for 10 minutes. They felt pretty dry but were messed up by the time I got home. I was also charged for them taking the polish off my toes... This location is thee BEST! April my nail Tech and she's always go above and beyond. She always have great communication and words of wisdom. I value her aspect on my mails and feet. She keeps a very clean and organize station and very polite. I would admit there's a few people in the shop that can't do good pedicures and need more practice. Can't believe through all the months I've been coming here that I had a terrible expierence. The older woman doing my pedicure was nice but the young woman doing my nails did a horrendous job. She tore off the Acyrlic and started blaming bad nail practices on other people when I've only been coming here and no where else.I believe they could of been removed in a better way and now I'm left with bloody skin exposed nubs. This salon is beautiful on the inside and I love their different types of pedicures. BUT I have let FOUR different people do my nails here and they do not last!!! I don't know if they are cutting the acrylic to make it thinner or what it is but I got a fill in on Friday (July 07,2017) and today (July 15) I now have 3 nails lifting from the bottom and 1 nail that popped off from me picking up my laptop ( literally the whole nail just popped off)!! And they are not cheap! They charge extra for length, nail design, and gel polish which I don't have a problem with but I do have a problem with my nails not lasting ever!!! I've been here twice. Was not pleased with either pedicures. I'm not a hard critic bc I know pedicures are hard to mess up on either. I got a gel pedicure both times. The first time was by a nice guy, but the gel got onto my cuticles, making the polish not last as long. Also he forgot to put gel top coat on one of my toes, which left it matte lol. The second time around the lady was rude. She didn't seem happy that I was getting a gel pedi & when I chose my color, she seemed to have a problem with it & suggested I get the mood changing instead (my other option), but I was just fed up & chose white. I got home & saw that my toe nails were filed all slanted so I had to fix that. My friend wasn't so happy about her regular manicure either (polish on cuticles). Today I tried this location based on the recommendation of my sister. My experience is completely different from hers. Nann did my nails and not only did he keep hurting me while he was doing it. He was obviously distracted with his phone. I asked could he do a simple design, he was not able to do it. When he applied the gel to my nails, the finished product had dirt in it. I had to point it out. He was not happy he had to redo it. He was simply rude & impatient. Danny did my pedicure. I'm not sure if that's his specialty  but I feel that he was trying his best. He could sense that I was uncomfortable & was not happy.I spent $70 total. To me, I should not have paid that much but I didn't want to make a scene and then I would be looked at like I'm crazy. Excellent experience, great price. I live in LA and it was nice to see I could find a high quality nail shop so far away from home with such ease. Went in for a gel nail and Dee did such a great job I got a pedicure too! Even though I am ticklish in my feet, the nail tech managed to calm me down and my feet came out smith and polished. I absolutely love this place! It is hands down my new favorite place to go for pedicures. Please know that my review is based solely on pedicure experiences. First of all they have about 8 or 9 different pedicure options. At this point I have tried three and loved them all. From the Hot Stones to your choice of scented sugar scrubs, I am on cloud nine! So far I have used lavender and rose scrubs. My favorite pedicure so far includes a gel bath that keeps your feet warm and helps with circulation. My feet felt amazingly relieved of pain when I was done. Also, the collagen sock helped soften my feet further. As for the nail techs, they are so friendly. I absolutely love Alex because her attention to detail is amazing! You will have thee PERFECT pedicure when she is done with you. Lastly. They have any amazing amount of colors to choose from whether you use regular, gel, or mood polish. I highly recommend this place based on outstanding pedicures, great options, and great service! I got a set of pink and whites here 2 weeks ago. She completely skipped my cuticles, and during the manicure my nail suddenly started to heat up really hot like it was on fire!!! She said this is normal and happens sometimes. I have NEVER had that happen during a manicure, and I get pink and whites all the time. I am so in love with Chan & Bay Nail Spa. Andy is amazing and my Honey & Milk pedicure was ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING!!!!  I have found a new place for all my relaxation needs....  They have SNS, eyebrow threading, Massages, waxing and soooo much more. Today my husband and I came for pedicures and we both are ready to come back. The staff is very professional, great personalities and ensure you are having a great experience from start to finish. The place is GORGEOUS inside!!!!  Beautifully decorated with up to date techniques, I couldn't have asked for more. Worst customer service ever!!!! We asked for nails and toes done... usually they do at the same time. After 15 minutes I asked if someone was going to do my nails he said yes the next tech. He brought me stuff  to soak my nails. We were done with our toes and still no tech to do my nails so we decided to leave. Then he proceeds to tell me it is a $5 charge because he soaked my nails. Awful. I went in to get my nails done today and not only was the nail tech extremely rude, but she did a poor job. My nails don't look natural and there's polish on my finger around my nail. The place is beautiful, so I was excited when I walked in. But I was less than excited when I left. I had to come back to get them fixed the second I looked at them when I walked out the door. I told her that I had a broken finger and to be careful and she was not careful in the least bit. She also made me bleed twice on the side of my fingernail from being too tough. She asked me if I wanted gel and when I said no she made a disgusted face and rolled her eyes. I called as soon as I left and he said I could come back (again) and get them fixed but when I asked for my money back, he refused. I will NEVER go back here and I would advise you to do the same. Decided to walk in to be pampered. No long wait. There's a large selection of polishes with a variety of sea salts and foot masks "pudding" for the foot bath. Was able to get nails done and eyebrows arched. Trish did a great job!  Will be back in a few weeks. Read Less
