Stopped here because I went to have a mom's day out after having two in two. I had neglected my nails and toes for a while, so I was excited to try somewhere new and have some "me time." I walked in, was immediately greeted and seated. I chose the Sky Nails Special Pedicure (I think that's what it was called), it was the full works package pedicure. I chose coconut pineapple for my scrub. It came with a hot neck wrap, hot towel wrap, scrub, lotion, foot butter, lotion, regular massage and a hot stone massage. It was absolutely wonderful! If for nothing else, I'll be back for that!!!! Then I chose to go ahead and have my nails done. I selected the dipping manicure. It doesn't use the UV and doesn't involve being overly abrasive to your nails. The application and dry time,in my experience, was less than half of that for acrylics, gel nails, or uv gel polish. And I am ecstatic with how it turned out! I was informed they last up to three weeks... So we'll see. I also went ahead and had my eyebrows waxed and they were starting to grow back in - at no suggestion or pressure from them. The staff I interacted with was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely enjoyed their jobs and helping people. The community must feel the same about them since they were constantly turning chairs from the time I walked in to when I walked out. And that says a lot since there is a nail salon with way more chairs and availability right next door and it was dead!!! I will be back!! Don't expect to get in if you make an appointmentTwo days ago, I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get mani/pedis today at 10. We arrived and I told the gal who asked that we had appointments at 10 for mani/pedis. She told us to pick out our colors, which we did. After doing so, we went to the front of the store. As we waited a walk-in asked for a mani and was told to come back in 30 minutes they were full. She leaves, another woman walks in and a man who works there told her to have a seat in one of the chairs. He looked at me and I told him we had appointments at 10, it was now 5 after. He told us it would be 30 minutes, just as the gal had told the walk-in it would be 30 minutes. I asked him what happened to our 10 o'clock appointment. He looked around and said they were really busy. I know the salon staff messed up somehow because they didn't honor an appointment made two days ago. They took walk-ins at the same time they had an appointment waiting and didn't have any room left for the appointment. While I understand things happen, there was no apology or ownership of the mistake at all. I will not waste my time going here again. I could've stayed at work or gotten other things done, but instead my time was wasted. They should honor the appointments they agree upon. Read Less

Sat for 45 minutes with my feet in the water waiting,  only to be told how awful my feet looked . After the technician made a total spectacle of my feet  ( showing other people my "dead skin") I was treated to the worst pedicure .. ever.  She didn't bother to clean under my nails , didn't clip the skin around the nails, didn't buff my nails . None of that. I had a tiny bit of dirt under one nail from gardening that day,  she painted right over it.   The worst part ? I paid $30 for the deluxe pedicure.  I call it a deluxe disappointment !! I have been going to this nail place since they opened. They always do a great job and are very gentle and sanitary, which is important for me because I'm diabetic and have to be careful about getting my nails done. My favorite nail salon in town! The staff is always friendly! I'm always pleased with my nails! They recently remodeled and everything is new, clean and updated! They have the best decor and massage chairs! It is usually busy, but they move pretty quickly, so don't be discouraged if you walk in and every seat is taken. Your wait will not be long! It's located in a shopping center, so while waiting you can go over to the Subway next door for a quick meal or to the Publix to pick up some items! Read Less

I love this salon. They are always friendly and professional. They ensure everthing is sanitized so I never worry. Recently they replaced all their furnishings with high-end furniture. Wow! They may get you in and out quick but not clean!  All they did in between clients was spray down with water and wipe out with a sponge. No cleaner!. Also got gel nail and I can tell you they won't last more than a couple of days and there are bubbles in it. All in all just not impressed. Read Less

I've been going here for over 2 year Tracy does a wonderful job on my nails I started off going every 2 weeks only because the polish would start to chip I'm not the babysitting type a person with my nails I do what I want as if I have no nails, once I started getting gel polish I see Tracy once a month I have never broken a nail and only get my nails cut down twice a year. This place is warming and accepting and the staff is awesome I suggest this salon to everyone and if you are in a rush I suggest you make an appointment because they do not offer rush jobs. This salon relocated to Washington Road and I don't think anyone has reviewed it here since. The salon has SEVERAL pedicure stations. I've been twice now, once when they first relocated and offered 10% off and once today. When I first visited, it was evening and there was a young child riding a bike around the salon. I assume he was one of the employee's child. Today, several other customers brought in children and they screamed, the TV was loud, and employees who didn't have a customer were sitting in other pedicure stations while playing on their phones or eating. One employee was watching some kind of video on her phone (across the salon from me) and I could hear the audio (over the TVs). The man doing my pedicure was a dream and did fabulous work. I feel as if he should relocate to a more professional salon in order to be valued as he deserves to be. HE is the only reason I give this salon two stars. My normal salon (right down the road) is appointment based and I couldn't get in before Easter, so I came to this salon again. I don't regret the decision because I received excellent service, but I will be more careful to book my appointment at my other salon so that I can actually relax while treating myself. Read Less

I write this review as I sit in the broken pedicure chair, with a shitty manicure. I got a French manicure with gel polish and there are white spots all through the part that should be clear. When I asked the lady to look at it and fix it she goes on to tell me a story about how I work with my hands which makes my index fingers look uneven, which was irrelevant to what I was asking her to fix. My sister was also sitting next to me and she told them she wanted coffin shaped nails and asked what the price was for a full set with the shape and was told $25.. after she approved of the price and they started doing her nails the nail lady that was doing my nails and the man that was doing hers started talking to each other and then the lady tells my sister her nails will be $35.. my sister told her that she was told $25 and the lady goes on to say it's because of the shape and length, which is understandable but she should have been informed before her nails were started... after a bit of back and forth between my sister and I the lady decided that she is going to give her a sweeeeeeet $5 discount. Great, but that's still $5 more than she planned on spending. Anyways, I'm about finished with my broken chair, cold water pedicure so I'll let y'all decide for your selves if you'd like to visit here or not. Good luck. P.S. - before I paid I asked her to fix it and get the white spots off and she went on to tell me that it was my nails that have the white on them. For one it is clearly nail polish, for two this has never happened before with the many many many times I have gotten the gel French tip at other places. I have been having acrylic done off and on since high school. In between that I would let be grow natural and try to paint them myself or try to do the acrylic myself once. It's just not worth the time and effort compared to getting it done professionally. All that being said to say that I have been to several different people and facilities, even some in other states. Now although the place I went to In Florida one time was AWESOME, and the place in Washington DC-gel polish applied there-was great, living here in GA I have struggled to find a decent place. I work with chemicals and water all day every day. the older I get the thinner there get. acrylic is so much easier for me to manage/maintain, it's a no brainer for me. The local-Lincolnton, Augusta, South Augusta, McCormick-places are either too expensive, have hurt me or made my nails so thin and just messed up, they were sore all the time. Being that I have experienced all of this, I'm VERY VERY VERY picky now. And not afraid to speak my mind about it either. This made the guys and gals at sky nails, a little nervous at first but once I saw how PROFESSIONALLY they handled their nervousness, and mine, I decided to just try to relax and see how they do. Now, there's only three that I'm completely comfortable with because acrylic is their specialty! So moral to this is simple. Want acrylic, get the specialist!!! Ask for them!!! I have been going here regularly to get pedicures/fills and eyebrow waxing for about 3 maybe 4 months. Staff is nice and usually get you in without a huge wait. I would say the acrylic nails are great and I get compliments regularly but they can't seem to be consistent with the pricing . Which is so damn frustrating . One week I pay five dollars more for gel polish and the next I am paying 15 , be sure to ask upfront what you are paying . The pedicures are good not great but definitely good when you get the upgraded packages and ask for warmer water . The Only bad thing is the chairs you sit in are getting extremely worn and they are so LOUD it becomes difficult to relax even when you keep your vibration/massage  off you hear your neighbors chair , it's awful . I usually bring headphones and just put on some music to help cancel that out and relax . On a positive note my eye brows look great & I never have been disappointed with that ! Read Less

Went with my mom yesterday and we had a blast! The people working with us continuously made us laugh while working on our hands and feet. It was probably some of the best customer service I've received at a nail salon. We are both very satisfied with how our nails looked. I also got my brows waxed and they look great as opposed to some places that make them a little too thin. I will be back next time I visit home! Read Less
