Let me start by saying i never complain, even if i did receive terrible service yes i will just give a review or take a survey to express my opinion, but i'd never return or ask for a situation to be redone, however my nails were so horribly done, i had to go back. I got my nails done here on 07-02- 18... after only 3 days 2 of my nails started lifting and the gel that was applied start looking so bad that i went back on 07-05-18 to get them fixed. Being a returning customer, Honestly in my mind i was expecting that a business who is aimed to provide service such as nails would've honestly said "ok ma'am we'll fix for you, i see that we messed up, no problem" but instead all i got was excuses and was told that the person who did my nails at station 11 told me to get a full set, (which she did, but) Tracy who sits at station 6 had just did a full set about a month ago and i refused to pay 45 dollars again for a service that i literally emptied my pockets to receive (SIDENOTE: I'VE been getting my nails done since i was 16 years old, and since then i would need a fill ever two to three months not 4 weeks!!!) i explained this to Tracy and she gave an excuse that everybodies nails are different and sometines a person needs full sets every month (yes someone who claimed to uave been doing nails for 14 yrs said this to me) i repeated what she said to mske sure i heard her correctly and she said again, some ppl need a full set ever month. My mouth dropped. Other issues transpired that caused the girl to yell, at me, i asked for my money back promising to never return, of course i was denied that, prices for a nail repair went from 3.00 per nail to 5 per nail, at the end of the day the police was called, they refused my service, failed to provide or fix the services already rendered. I was told not to return and i gladly except that invitation. I truly see why Ellenwood Nails have so many bad reviews. Terrible attitudes, terrible service. I will put thos reciew on every site that i can including the BBB

I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, so I only go to see mimi/manager. I've been going there for about 1 year. The only staff member that I feel has a slight attitude is Mimi's sister some of the other staff members could be nicer, but some of them are extremely friendly and kind! Overall I think they are a pretty good balance. I'm actually kind of surprise by the bad reviews honestly.

When she finished i complained to owner who said come back & they will fix for free .. i returned & was told they are not fixing & i must pay for their mistake cause i should’ve spoke up. When i did but technicians told me to hush because she knew what she was doing when obviously she didn’t 🙄😡

If I could take back my star I would because they deserve zero stars for their service. Not only does the polish be looking so unprofessional as if it's missing a coat but they cut two of my toes and didn't want to give me no type of discount plus to top that off every time I go back they changed the price of my service and I get the same service every time I go. I even go as far as taking pictures of their work to argue the price. I know...why go back..because it's the closet location but screw that I'll travel to Timbuktu if I have to because they won't get another dime from me

If I can put 0 stars I would.I have been going to this salon for years. This my last time getting my eyebrows done .One eyebrow is higher and wider then then the other. I will NEVER go back. They lost a long term client. Over 7 dollars. I always tip those ladies even multiple times i tipped them still.This time they called the cops on me for 7 dollars. I paid for 70.00 worth of service. I am so pissed i even kept going to them. This is the 2nd time i got a new full set and the nails immediately pop off within a day or two. Worst customer service. Not a clean facility.The callus remover is never sanitary. I would NEVER spend another dollar there.

Did a horrible job on my long natural healthy nails with a botched Gel Polish French tip that they then RUINED my natural nails taking it off by FILING IT OFF!!! And she didnt even get off all of my previous color before applying the CLEAR gel for the french tip. My nails are now paper thin with the top layer badly damaged & they still made me pay $15 and I left with UNPAINTED DAMAGED nails WITH gel polish residue STILL on them. I am LIVID. I will NEVER step foot in there again!!!

Terrible service! And the manager is rude and nasty! I tried to explain to one tech what wanted specifically done. She said she didn't have time and walked away. Another tech came over and was very attentive and receptive. The 2nd time I went into the salon, 3 different customers were complaining about customer service. Another potential customer and myself walked out. I haven't been there since.

This place is a rip off! They charge way too much for the quality of work that they provide. The nail techs are not properly trained in their skill because the work is horrible. I asked about their tools being sanitized and the girl caught a bad attitude with me, I explained to her that I have had a problem in the past with fungus from a previous nail salon. She didn't seem to care nor did the manager or owner. She told me flat out that they sanitize at the end of the day. The girl sitting to the left of me was mad about this and started to ask questions also. I decided not to get any service done and the manager told me that I had to pay for just sitting down in the chair. I explained to her that I would not be paying her for nothing and she said she was calling the cops. She did, the cops came and explained to her that I don't have to pay for a service that I did not receive. Please don't waste your time with this place they are horrible I should have read the reviews before I went.

I brought my daughter with me for a mani pedi and the manger placed me and her in the chair with our feet I the water.........no one ever came to do my daughter......no one ever came to check on her !
I was so humiliated mine were being done and I was not at all happy!
I will not be returning....the manager never apologized...........
Nor offered free services for her negligence.....she said so one changed their mind and wanted different service so she did not get to my daughter!!!😒😒😒😒😒👎🏾
I have already looked for a new nail spa which rating is far more than a 1.8

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. However, after 2 bad experiences I will not be back. I tried SNS nails from this place, only one tech could do it, and they turned out extremely thick. It looked like several coats of acrylic.
My last experience this week with gel nails was not good. The gel Polish was peeling after 3 DAYS. I went in to resolve, the nail tech attempted to patch the Polish where it was peeling. After I voiced by concerns, she reluctantly removed the Polish and started over. I will not be back!!!

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. However, after 2 bad experiences I will not be back. I tried SNS nails from this place, only one tech could do it, and they turned out extremely thick. It looked like several coats of acrylic.My last experience this week with gel nails was not good. Ok so coming in its clean you really want it to work but it just doesn't. I came in to get a gel fill in with gel polish on my hands and feet. Towards the end there were three people left in the salon with me both of which were complaining because the nail techs kept running their cards over and over without acknowledging that there's clearly a problem. Both of them had to go to an atm when it got to my card it worked spontaneously. Yay a small win for me. Unfortunately later on the very next day my thumb nail broke from opening plastic which is unheard of & they refuse to fix the nail stating I have to pay when I literally just spent $48! I have NEVER had a nail break after 1 damn day NEVER. Suffice it to say I will not be coming back & you shouldn't waist your money.

I got a manicure simultaneously while getting my pedicure. When she finished my mani, she poured the dirty water into the bowl where my feel were soaking for my pedicure...so much for a relaxing foot soak!2 . While, I was getting my manicure, I decided that I didn't want gel nails and just wanted a standard nail polish. The woman was livid! She kept going on and on about how gel lasts longer(Duh...I want to take a break)3. Attempted to overcharge me. She tried to force me to pay while I was seated in the pedicure bowl and couldn't see the prices...when she quoted $44, I politely got up...wet feet and all and walked over to the sign to verify ...I guess she thought that I would just take her word for it! She then said "Oh...my mistake" I will never, ever darken the door of this establishment again!! I will drive out of my way to make sure they never get one dime of my money! All the reviews are true! Her nails looked awful and they want MORE Money to fix their issue. This is unfortunate, but I will never go back to Ellenwood Nails and Spa again. I am obsessed with my eyebrows and I'll be damned if I let someone ruin these bad boys so I waited 3 weeks before trying someone out. Thank God I found this place! I was considering driving 30 miles and paying 30 dollars but tried this place first and she did my brows exactly how I like them and it was only 7 dollars!

Be cautious of being overcharged! I spoke with the owner about the service that I wanted, I informed the tech as well. After my nails were done and it was time to pay, the price had increased. After asking how when I discussed what I wanted and established a price, the owner didn't seem interested in figuring out what happened and walked away. I paid my bill and left. I will never go back. This salon is closest to my house but I'll travel further to pay for the correct service.

This shop has quickly become a fave of mine. Maybe that's because I am a fan of fierce eyebrows and Nancy is great. The service is thorough, the staff is nice , and the work is done correctly . The prices are comparable to many other shops. Most of the time the wait is not horrible , but of course weekends are busier . Also, the plaza it is located in is not overly crowded so parking is never an issue . As aforementioned, Nancy does amazing eyebrows , Vicky does awesome pedicures and Laura is really good at nails . They have one of the largest collections of gel and mood polishes I've seen and they also have the holographic polish that I love so much .

They took care of me and my daughter really good, I like the atmosphere over there, very friendly! This is the first time I ever got pedicure but they did such a good job on me. My daughter got her toes design! Both of us really wanna come back to this happy place again! That was awesome day for me and my daughter! Highly recommended!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This business should be boycotted. My mother got her nails done and the tech cut her cuticles down to the point of drawing blood. And I got my eye brows waxed. The tech got wax in my hair and then cut the patch out and tried to hide it before I got up. I seen hair hanging and my hair had a mat. I grabbed the hair form her and she insisted that it was not mines and that someone left it there???? The manager said I did not do it and the cops were called when he would not return my money for the whole incident. Avoid this place because they are not professional!!!!!!

I am so pissed i even kept going to them. This is the 2nd time i got a new full set and the nails immediately pop off within a day or two. Worst customer service. Not a clean facility.The callus remover is never sanitary. I would NEVER spend another dollar there.

Did a horrible job on my long natural healthy nails with a botched Gel Polish French tip that they then RUINED my natural nails taking it off by FILING IT OFF!!! And she didnt even get off all of my previous color before applying the CLEAR gel for the french tip. My nails are now paper thin with the top layer badly damaged & they still made me pay $15 and I left with UNPAINTED DAMAGED nails WITH gel polish residue STILL on them. I am LIVID. I will NEVER step foot in there again!!!

These people literally cannot do nails. If you want a foot rub that's all they are good for. If you want to get just a regular paint job that might b ok. But DO NOT LET THEM PUT A NAIL ON YOUR FINGER....

Another tech came over and was very attentive and receptive. The 2nd time I went into the salon, 3 different customers were complaining about customer service. Another potential customer and myself walked out. I haven't been there since.

This place is a rip off! They charge way too much for the quality of work that they provide. The nail techs are not properly trained in their skill because the work is horrible. I asked about their tools being sanitized and the girl caught a bad attitude with me, I explained to her that I have had a problem in the past with fungus from a previous nail salon. She didn't seem to care nor did the manager or owner. She told me flat out that they sanitize at the end of the day. The girl sitting to the left of me was mad about this and started to ask questions also. I decided not to get any service done and the manager told me that I had to pay for just sitting down in the chair. I explained to her that I would not be paying her for nothing and she said she was calling the cops. She did, the cops came and explained to her that I don't have to pay for a service that I did not receive. Please don't waste your time with this place they are horrible I should have read the reviews before I went.

I was so humiliated mine were being done and I was not at all happy!
I will not be returning....the manager never apologized...........
Nor offered free services for her negligence.....she said so one changed their mind and wanted different service so she did not get to my daughter!!!😒😒😒😒😒👎🏾
I have already looked for a new nail spa which rating is far more than a 1.8

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. However, after 2 bad experiences I will not be back. I tried SNS nails from this place, only one tech could do it, and they turned out extremely thick. It looked like several coats of acrylic.
My last experience this week with gel nails was not good. The gel Polish was peeling after 3 DAYS. I went in to resolve, the nail tech attempted to patch the Polish where it was peeling. After I voiced by concerns, she reluctantly removed the Polish and started over. I will not be back!!!

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. However, after 2 bad experiences I will not be back. Ok so coming in its clean you really want it to work but it just doesn't. I came in to get a gel fill in with gel polish on my hands and feet. Towards the end there were three people left in the salon with me both of which were complaining because the nail techs kept running their cards over and over without acknowledging that there's clearly a problem. Both of them had to go to an atm when it got to my card it worked spontaneously. Yay a small win for me. Unfortunately later on the very next day my thumb nail broke from opening plastic which is unheard of & they refuse to fix the nail stating I have to pay when I literally just spent $48! I have NEVER had a nail break after 1 damn day NEVER. Suffice it to say I will not be coming back & you shouldn't waist your money.

WARNING!!!! Do not go here!! There is a reason why this place is always empty! I read the reviews and against my better judgment, went anyway because I didn't feel like driving out further! 1. I got a manicure simultaneously while getting my pedicure. When she finished my mani, she poured the dirty water into the bowl where my feel were soaking for my pedicure...so much for a relaxing foot soak!2 . While, I was getting my manicure, I decided that I didn't want gel nails and just wanted a standard nail polish. The woman was livid! She kept going on and on about how gel lasts longer(Duh...I want to take a break)3. Attempted to overcharge me. She tried to force me to pay while I was seated in the pedicure bowl and couldn't see the prices...when she quoted $44, I politely got up...wet feet and all and walked over to the sign to verify ...I guess she thought that I would just take her word for it! She then said "Oh...my mistake" I will never, ever darken the door of this establishment again!! I will drive out of my way to make sure they never get one dime of my money! All the reviews are true! Her nails looked awful and they want MORE Money to fix their issue. This is unfortunate, but I will never go back to Ellenwood Nails and Spa again. If you are in the area and want a nail shop please DO NOT GO TO ELLENWOOD NAILS and SPA. Buyer beware!!!!!

Having just moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles, one of the most important things to me was finding a good eyebrow lady (judge me if you must). I am obsessed with my eyebrows and I'll be damned if I let someone ruin these bad boys so I waited 3 weeks before trying someone out. Thank God I found this place! I was considering driving 30 miles and paying 30 dollars but tried this place first and she did my brows exactly how I like them and it was only 7 dollars!

Be cautious of being overcharged! I spoke with the owner about the service that I wanted, I informed the tech as well. After my nails were done and it was time to pay, the price had increased. After asking how when I discussed what I wanted and established a price, the owner didn't seem interested in figuring out what happened and walked away. I paid my bill and left. I will never go back. This salon is closest to my house but I'll travel further to pay for the correct service.

This shop has quickly become a fave of mine. Maybe that's because I am a fan of fierce eyebrows and Nancy is great. The service is thorough, the staff is nice , and the work is done correctly . The prices are comparable to many other shops. Most of the time the wait is not horrible , but of course weekends are busier . Also, the plaza it is located in is not overly crowded so parking is never an issue . As aforementioned, Nancy does amazing eyebrows , Vicky does awesome pedicures and Laura is really good at nails . They have one of the largest collections of gel and mood polishes I've seen and they also have the holographic polish that I love so much .

On the day before Thanksgiving, me and my daughter went to this nail salon, she got her nails done while I got my pedicure done! They took care of me and my daughter really good, I like the atmosphere over there, very friendly! This is the first time I ever got pedicure but they did such a good job on me. My daughter got her toes design! Both of us really wanna come back to this happy place again! That was awesome day for me and my daughter! Highly recommended!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This business should be boycotted. My mother got her nails done and the tech cut her cuticles down to the point of drawing blood. And I got my eye brows waxed. The tech got wax in my hair and then cut the patch out and tried to hide it before I got up. I seen hair hanging and my hair had a mat. I grabbed the hair form her and she insisted that it was not mines and that someone left it there???? The manager said I did not do it and the cops were called when he would not return my money for the whole incident. Avoid this place because they are not professional!!!!!!
