They did a horrible job on my nails. I asked for a normal acrylic set which is supposed to be $30 but they charged me an extra $5 for the shape!? When I got there there were no costumers but there were 3 nail technicians. One started working on me but she got tired and told me to go to another lady. I guess she was new or something because she had no idea of what she was doing. I asked for coffin shaped nails and she didn’t know what I meant. She took a whole one hour and 30 minutes to put on the nail and file them. They barely have any nail polish colors. The thing that bothered me the most was that I have never gotten nail infections after getting acrylics, but today which is Wednesday I woke up with a horrible white thing on my nail. Oh btw I forgot to mention I went on Sunday. They are very unhygienic and the nail polish they put on is already coming off. Nail technician is extremely RUDE!!! Came out of town for a short stay in Lawrenceville and decided to stop by. I was told full set was $30 but after a long wait I was told that I have to pay extra $5 dollars each for length and shape. She had come to drag the nail color sets from my side earlier, telling me I was taking too long to choose a color. I was quiet the whole time and said nothing. I still gave a tip regardless just because she wasn’t the one who did my toe nails. I had a horrible experience and my whole time was waisted! Very Horrible Experience I’ve never been treated this rudely . I walked in today expecting to get mani and pedicure the lady rushed me and my sisters to choose what we wanted. Let me start off my saying this shop is inside of JeJu spa upstairs. I was lost so hopefully that's helpful if you still decide to come after reading this review. I was pressed (shouldn't have been) to get my nails done today and for some reason I picked this place. I don't know why but I thought this would be a good idea. She's not even done with my nails and I'm dissatisfied already. Let's see. So when I walked in, I asked one question. "Do you all charge for length?" It took her 7 minutes to answer me. I should have known to turn around then. After finally getting the answer to my question, I was told to sit down.Upon seating, I asked the woman who would be doing my nails if could have them like this pic that I showed her. She looked at it and said "oh yea" like it was no big deal.As she is doing my nails, I'm looking down and I truly can't for the life of Me figure out what picture she was looking at. My nails look NOTHING AND NOWHERE close to this picture!When I tried to tell her they looked nothing alike, she seemed to have a slight attitude like I was the one who made the mistake except she's been looking at my phone this entire time except when I realized I had to write this review ASAP.Now to be honest with you guys, my nails don't look bad at all, it's just not what I wanted. This place is garbage! Do not go here. I should have turned around when I arrived and it was almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. I got a very mediocre full set of gels for about $100. A couple of the nails were a little crooked, and the polish didn't glow in the dark as promised for the upcharge, but I wasn't furious with that manicure. Also, the pedicure was cheap and the polish they used was low quality. I didn't plan to go back, but a couple of weeks later, I was pressed for time and I decided to go for a fill in rather than go to my usual salon which would have been a 2 hour process with no appointment. (Again, the lack of demand at this place should have been a clue). The second and final visit is where things went off the rails. To make a long story short, the (only) nail technician cut my finger deep as she lazily used the file machine to trim down my nails instead of clipping and filing them manually. I was livid, and wanted to leave, and she kept insisting I let her finish cutting the nails. I think I was in shock or something bc I let her butcher my full set. I think she was purposely ruining my full set out of spite because I refused to let her finish my manicure. If that wasn't bad enough, she used the same nail clippers on my bleeding finger that she had been using before without even sanitizing them from the previous client. That's right. It was my first time there, today , and I was so impressed. From the ease of booking my appointment, the relaxing atmosphere,to the super friendly(over the phone and in person), professional staff it was such a great experience. I love my new lashes! They look and feel so natural. Serena was my lash artist and she was so nice and funny , and always made sure I was comfortable. It was also nice to have her talk me through the process so I knew what was going on (it being my first time). I would give ZERO stars if they allowed.This place is suppose to open at 11am. I was downstairs at Jeju since 9am relaxing. Came out to get a pedi at 10:50 to wait for the rest of my friends.Went upstairs at 11am no one was there just cleaning staff. We asked them when the staff would arrive but they had no clue. Went down to ask the front desk they said "oh they haven't arrived yet" okay we decided to wait a few minutes which turn into 11:30 and still no staff showed up. So I left. I went to this place because my regular nail tech was booked for the day and I needed a mani and pedi bad. I can't think of the lady tech who did my nails but I will never spend money here again. I got the express pedicure which was rushed and my toes were poked by the utensils used to clean my cuticles. So I got up with sore feet. As for my nails I wanted light blue nails with a halo colored middle nail. She ensured me that I was getting a halo nail(which I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails before she started) and I got chrome nails instead. I was not happy with that and my skin around my cuticles was cut by the electric nail filer. My fingers were sore and it stung when she put the alcohol on my gel nails. I will never go here again! I originally came in for microblading a couple months ago and fell in love with Danielle and the establishment so it was a no brainer for me to go back for my lashes before a vacay. Sad to say I didn't have a good experience. I didn't want them overdone like many pics I've seen and expressed that. Not that it doesn't look good but it wasn't the look that I was after. Even after she removed several of them to tone it down I am still extremely unhappy with the look. What wa...s even more disappointing was that I was apparently booked for a "volume lash" that cost almost $300. I stated that I didn't request a volume lash on the phone but an appt for lashes in general. In my opinion $300 is a lot to pay for something you didn't want and didn't ask for. Do Not go here without risking injury - perhaps they have better manicurists then the jerk I got but I am VERY disappointed and sore. Not a place I want to return to despite my fondness for Jeju sauna. Here's what happened I was taken here for my birthday for a relaxing pedi what I got was a nightmare - guy seemed inexperienced - foot bath was filled with cold water - had no time to soak before he was trying to cut my cuticles without any cuticle oil or lotion and caused me painful bloody toes - now I know sometimes people make mistakes but this was beyond some simple mistake - next he barely cut or shaped my nails but left them ragged and sharp, didn't clean them either - I could go on but we asked for the manager and were told that she wasn't there but would call which hasn't happened - I have taken pictures in the event I need medical treatment... If you ever need a quality nail salon after most nail salons have closed and you're desperate, go here. Other than that, you are on your own - - -I called ahead of time to confirm the service I wanted (SNS, dipping powder). The receptionist was polite and informed me that about 7PM they get full, so I might have to wait awhile for my service. I arrived at 7:15pm. The facility, located inside Jeju on the 2nd floor, was modern and very clean with no clutter or mess anywhere! Plenty of spa pedicure chairs and manicure stations, but not nearly enough nail techs: only 3 techs to be exact. I signed in with the receptionist then proceeded to wait patiently for.............2 hours!! When I was finally serviced, the tech was overwhelmingly gossipy in the most negative way imaginable and basically ignored me except when I was informing her on the details of the style I wanted. The tech next to her was even worse! He sang loudly with headphones on and even forced his client to listen to his music! I mean karaoke kinda long singing. It was such a strange experience.When she finished my nails, I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually PERFECT! I love going here for all of my nail needs. I do sometimes have to go where it is convenient for me because I live about 45 minutes away from the location. Very good first experience. I went with my niece last Sunday to get pedicures. Very nice girls in the salon and their very gentle. My niece wanted to get a fill in, be they only had 2 acrylic techs, so the wait was a couple of hours. I would make an appointment for sure. This is a great addition to Jeju which doesn't have a nail salon. Although, this is in the same building,  they are separate from Jeju so you can't use your wrist tag to pay for it. It's very clean and does not have the nail salon smell which is very important to me. The set up is a bit different than your traditional nail salon as the workers do not have individual nail stations, everyone is seated at a long bench. They can get very busy. I was given a 15 minute wait but people afterwards were given 45+ minutes. My nail tech recommended people come during the week and not in a Saturday. Speaking of my nail tech,  she was nice and quiet. No forced small talk, she just focused on my mani/pedi. I appreciate that. They are slightly more expensive but it is a better experience than your conventional nail salon. A decent job was done,  no accidental cuts and I left happy. Read Less

Recieved 2 services this week at the Glam bar. My hair (Kirsten) and pedi/manicure w gels (Nicole). What an AWESOME atmosphere. The establishment is gorgeous, the energy from those working there is right on, the owner is right in there interacting and shes such a sweetheart.They are damn good at what they do. I would encourage anyone to give it a go its such a great place and you can enjoy a glass of bubbly after a long day while getting beautified. Does it get much better than that? I think not!!! This place has horrible customer service and the service was very subpar. Would rate less than 1 star if I could. I paid $48 for the holographic nails and it was the biggest waste of money - which $48 is way too expensive for these nails anyways, but the quality of work sucks. He had to do them twice because the first time I washed my hands, it came off all of the edges. Really? $48? Would not recommend. Such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, this place is stunning! I had the head to toe package (mani, pedi & blowout) and my boyfriend got a 90 minute massage. We both had a great experience. I was booked in for the New Year's Eve special of a blowout and makeup for $80. I ended up getting an updo instead. While it was done nicely, I was not told of the additional $40 charge for this! Had I been told of the large increase I would have opted for the blowout only. Then when my sister in law went to pay, they tried to charge her an extra $20 from the special price. When she discussed with the girl punching it in, she was advised of additional charge of $10 because th...ey also curled her hair! Again, wasn't told at the time it was done. When she then argued with the girl it would then be $90 plus taxes, the girl replied," the stylist said to charge you $100." She then asked who makes the special prices and we were told the owner does, but then, in same breath, she said the stylists tell her what to charge! Disappointed by the lack of communication and the way they price things. You should be told of additional charges upfront, and $40 for an updo that took maybe 20 minutes seems a bit steep. My experience was so unfortunate. I'm sure they do a fine enough job on mani pedis but their acrylic skills are weak. She got the gel powder all over my fingers then became incredibly defensive when I called her on her lack of skill. She then stormed off and handed me off to someone equally unskilled. His hands were shaking with nerves as he used the drill bit to smooth out her terribly laid acrylic. It was all over my fingers, on my cuticles, under my nails - painful. Super painful. He also stormed off and gave up. Ultimately I forced her to complete her work and I had to walk her through the entire process because I was visiting from out of town and didn't have time or resources to find somewhere new.The entire experience was so insane that I wondered if I was in the twilight zone. If you're having a spa day at the place below and want someone to slap some polish on you to add to your experience then this place will do. I found this place on yelp, it peaked my interest because it was located inside the spa I had been wanting to visit. I love that they are open later than most nail shops. I went in on a wednesday aound 730pm and was able to be seated as soon as I came in. Ashley who did both my mani and pedi took her time and did a great job on both.
