I've came here twice & the first couple times were great but the 3rd time i took my sister in law for her birthday & they misunderstood what she wanted done & were EXTREMELY rude to her. I came to get my nails done, I'm from out of town. I asked for a pedicure. The lady who began to do my nails you could tell was new. She wasn't cleaning my nails properly, so I asked for someone else. Another tech began my pedicure, she seemed annoyed. She did a good job, BUT after she scrubbed my heels and was putting lotion on she realized my heels were still a tad rough. She then reached for a razor out of her cup, didn't even put a new blade on. I caught her before she started and told her if she couldn't put a new blade there then not to do it. She replied well you don't really need it and put the razor back. THIS IS HIGHLY UNSANITARY!!! I was so disgusted and glad I made her clean off her supplies with alcohol prior to doing my nails. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. Worst nail salon experience I have ever come across. The ladies are rude and talk in a very condescending manner. Their face expressions communicate that you are bothersome and annoying. I asked for a double coat for lighter colors and she rolled her eyes at me. The base charge for gel mani is $15 but don't be fooled. They add on rather arbitrary and hidden fees to make it more expensive in the end. I wanted four different nail colors and they charged me more while my friend wasn't charged for getting four colors too. The nail job was sub par, less than average, and disappointing. She did my nails in such an uncaring and rushed manner. No oils, lotions, steamed towels, cuticle care, or simple hand massages involved in the process. She just files your nails and starts painting. They didn't have nail rhinestones, couldn't do any of the designs I asked for, and could only do full-color nails or half moon nails. They had very limited gel color choices as well. I had to settle for my second choice colors. The smell of the store was worst than most salons. So bad that the two other girls in my party who decided to not get anything done because of the way we were treated had to take a step outside for air. Even while working on my nails, she left to do her own business and attended to other customers. She wasn't focused on her current customer and when she did come to me, she consistently gave off an unpleasant vibe through her offensive tone and attitude.I go and get my nails done to destress but the entire experience was so negative and stressful. We stumbled across this establishment while looking for another nail salon. The service was great from the moment we walked in. Amy and Moon were eager to give us pedicures. I loved my full set done by Amy and the pedicure felt great. The basic pedicure came with enough bells and whistles for me to feel relaxed and the vibe was pleasant. Ok place for nails - staff is nice but quality not so good. I normally don't review nail salons but I had to with this place because my friend and I got a gel mani and regular pedi done here, however the next day my friends nail polish started chipping and peeling off - mine didn't until a week later, but that is also a very short time for gel nails to start chipping off/or even chip off at all. I literally sat there and peeled off my polish, so I really don't think it's the best gel polish they have - we paid 45$ so if you think it's worth it then go ahead (I don't think so) I would find a place where the gel nails don't peel off. Hannah, Moon and Amy are wonderful! This is a simple and quaint nail salon that consistently does a great job on my nails. The ladies have a consistent customer base which means a lot to me. Rarely do I have to wait more than 15 minutes for any service. Hannah often makes color recommendations for my nails which I take because she's consistently correct. All of the ladies have fun and jovial personalities which I enjoy. If there's a time that I just want to relax and not talk they respect that. I will be moving out of Gwinnett soon and I am definitely going to miss this salon. Read Less

These ladies were just chat chat chatting it up.. I was only here bc of the location, it's the closest to my house. So I went in, they were less than typical service at nail salons. The only thing that bothered me was the fact she didn't even speak to me at all during the whole thing, just point at things and make sounds but I knew she could speak English bc she said stuff to me at the beginning. Went here today with my 2 friends to get pedicures. They were short staffed but helped us right away. There were LOTS of polish colors, most of them OPI. They ladies did a wonderful job on the pedicures. They didn't cut too short or scrub too hard, it was perfect!  They made fun, light conversation with all of us. This place is a nightmare.A girlfriend and I found this salon through Yelp. It had a 5-star rating and we were in a rush, so we stopped by for two pedis. The crap talking started as soon as we walked in. They sat us in our spa chairs and it just went downhill from there...I look over at my friend and she is trying to get fresh water in her tub, because she had found dead skin floating in her water. Not realizing that my friend understood Vietnamese, the owner brushed it off and stated that it was just a piece of cotton. She then turned around to scold her employee in Vietnamese asking her why she did not properly sanitize the tub and to turn on the whirlpool bubbles so that customers cannot see the dead skin floating in the water.The employee who was asked to get my friend fresh water, continued to work on my pedicure and just left my friend sitting there. We are both very busy and rarely have time to treat ourselves, but when we do, the last thing we want to worry about is sanitation and catching a staph infection.The 1-star rating is for the complimentary pedicure I received after confronting the owner in Vietnamese.Never again. At first, I was pretty content with my nails. I got gel manicures and it cost me $20+tip. A week and a half later, my nails started to crack and chip at the edges. I've had my nails done for $25+tip and they have lasted me over 2 weeks, with no problems. This place isn't bad if you change your nails more frequently than me. After trying out a couple bad nail salons, I am quite happy that I have found Revolutions Nails!  There was no wait or being rushed, was able get my nails fixed after a bad job from prior.  Enjoy being able to relax and trust that the service I was getting was good!  The gals were nice and attentive and would recommend them as they did a great job on my nails.
