This nail salon is fantastic. Not only is there a serene and calm atmosphere but the staff is so friendly. I came in when they were pretty busy, but the manager still greeted me and gave me a water bottle while I waited for about 5 minutes for a nail technician to help me. I had a simple mani pedi but it was so relaxing and the end product was great. The massage while my nails dried hit the right spot and I am excited to return! I got eyelash extensions here and I cannot praise them enough. The technician took about 1.5 hours to do both sets while I relaxed to the soothing music around me. At first I thought the eyelashes were too much (as I've never gotten them done before) but right when I walked out that door I got compliments on them and continued to receive them for a few weeks. My longer eyelashes made me feel more confident and beautiful! I'm not from the area but this is my go-to when I am. If you are going to this place, it will be good to know who is good technician first.I had mani & pedi service. I'm satisfied with pedicure. However, i'm very disappointed with the result of manicure. Unfortunately this is the second bad experience from same technician. (I could not change the technician at that moment). My previous gel was not taken off clearly before manicure is applied. So i had to ask her to remove it completely. She was busy chattering with co-workers. I'm find with that but proper job has to be done. One of nail's shape is off, there was so many bubbles after i dried my nail, top coat was applied very very thick, finish was unclean. I usually never complain at salon, but this time i had to tell something. I explained about this to the owner since this was the second time. I showed my nail to her asking how does she think about my nail. She said it looks fine to her. I showed bubbles, unclean finish. She said  "SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE PICKY TO SEE DETAILS".I'm very shocked when she said that. I asked her is there nothing you can do? and then she replied that they could redo my nail if i don't like it. And i did not have time to redo it. She said next time when i visit, i can pick different technician that i like.......... okay. She offered nothing, i was not complaining to take any advantage. she was just busy to cover up. and when she charge the total amount on my card there was no tip section. So i asked her how can i tip? and then she asked if i have cash. I did not have cash. And she saying "No it's okay" meaning that i don't have to tip. WHY? i honestly did not want to tip for the manicure after i saw all the procedure but how about a lady who worked hard for my pedicure ? i did not understand why she was saying that it is okay to not to tip for her employee. So i just let her charge my card one more.I really did not like the owner's mind.  Maybe i'm too much picky to see too much detail when expert technician think it is fine.I will never visit this place again. I went here after being turned away from another nearby nail salon by publix. When we got to Nail Max, my mom and I were greeted so warmly and immediately allowed to sit and get pedicures. Went for a mani-pedi with my Best Friend as this is her go to spot. This was the most amazing nail experience I've had! My gel polish lasted for a full two weeks without chipping! My pedi is still in tact and this was a month ago. Went home and got my nails done at my regular place and it was nothing in comparison to this place! Back visiting Atlanta today and plan to stop before I go home! Can't wait until I move here so this can be my go to place! Read Less

My first time here after a panicked 9am search for a nail salon that was open to get my nails done before an international flight. These ladies pulled me together and had me out the door in 45 minutes. Now that was with a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. They picked out an awesome color to compliment my skin tone and my trip. Three on one ROCKED me out the door and right into my Uber to Hartsfield International. I love this place.  I have moved further away from this location (16 miles away) but I will drive out of my way to get my deluxe pedicure and neck massage from these ladies because I found nothing near me that can compare!  It is like going into Cheers bar where they all know you and welcome you back! Watch when you go to this nail shop. They try to charge for extra things. Who ever heard the longer your nails are the more you get charged a different price. I went with two lady friends who had a Mani and pedicure and this place was charging for certain colors and fill in's  there are too many nail places around then to go to this one. My first time here. Got my gel mani done by Ann and fabulous! She took time to shape my nails the way I wanted and and the the deep french was perfectly the way I wanted. The employees seem very nice and gentle with every service. The hand massage PLUS shoulder massage was also perfect pressure! Total came out to be $35 love it Thanks Ann! I was kinda scared to try this place because of the bad reviews, but I need a new salon close to home that does a great job on the nails.  I figured I'd give them a shot and I'm so glad I did.Kim did my nails and she not only did a great job, she was also fast, didn't try to sell me anything additional and - best of all - she didn't try to chat on incessantly while I was sitting there.  I'm not anti-social by any means, but I can't stand making small talk with the person doing my nails or pedicure.  I just need that little bit of time to myself and Kim gave me that!Oh, and she also massaged my neck and shoulders while I waited for my nails to dry.  Love it.My trial on Sunday was just for the nails, but now I'm convinced they can be trusted with my pedicure, too, so I'll be going back this week to try it out. I go to Nancy every two weeks to get my gel manicure and let me tell you she's young but she does an EXCELLENT job. She's a perfectionist and won't leave your nails messy or the color uneven. She's great and fast! I highly recommend her and this place. Read Less

Treatments and pricing are avg. but customer service is terrible.  I understand they are trying to make money but the constant badgering for upgrades gets old fast.  Technicians constantly answer their cellphones and engage in conversations with each other.  I have yet to find a low priced salon that does not do that but it's one of my major pet peeves.  I have been in customer service for years and these are HUGE no no's.  It drives me crazy that they have so little disregard for attentive customer service. I am kind feel bad to give them 2 stars since my friend really likes here. I don't want her to feel bad about this. So Lisa, I am sorry if my review will hurt your feelings. You are the best, it was just not the nail shop for me. My first and only trip wasn't so good. Like Amy S. said they mentioned gel nail polish, but after we said no, they didn't bother us anymore. So I wouldn't complain about it. Of course they would try to get more business. The manicurist was talking to herself during the whole time. It was super odd Number one. And she said me if I was married or single. "I didn't know you, why you were so curious about my personal life." It was super odd Number two. And she cut my skin, my finger was bleeding a little.
