Do not go to this nail shop. I went to go get a pedicure yesterday and today I had to remove two of my toenails because of an infection. I’m upset because I left for vacation and I am unable to return to the shop to show the owners. I should’ve know that there would be a problem because when I was leaving, one of the techs asked me was I okay with a sense of concern in her voice. An older woman performed my services and she was super slow. It took over an hour and a half for a basic pedicure and I was seated immediately. They need to make sure that everyone in the salon is licensed because I do not think that is the case. Please don’t go to this salon. Trust me. Read Less

Made another appointment with Cindy and I don't think I'll go to another person for my nails. She took my inspiration photo and made it even better!! We even added mood changing polish for a little flair. I'm recommending her to everyone I know. So glad to have found someone that I enjoy talking to and end up with great nails in the process. Nice employees but horrible service! I had to go back a few days later due to breaking a nail and was charge $35 to fix my nail and a color change (that I did not ask for btw) since the nail tech couldn’t make out my original nail color. I still had dead skin on the bottom of my feet after the service and not to mention my polish started to chip as soon as I took a shower. I spent over $100 for some BS service I’ll take my money to the hood next time at least I know I’ll get good service for a small price. I refuse to spend hard earn money on horrible service. This place is a waste of such a beautiful space. You know I did read some of the reviews before deciding to try it, and I decided to give them a chance. Boy was that a mistake! I went in and was not greeted at all I wasn't even acknowledged, it was 2 days before Christmas so I just assumed they were focused on pleasing their customers. When I was finally addressed I was told the usual, pick a color and have a sit, however I had already been there for a few minutes already had my color and was ready to go. When I was seated at a station, the station was filthy I actually ended up wiping it down myself. I let the gentleman know I wanted a full acrylic set. He immediately started to cut my nails, without asking. Now I have had my share of manicures and full tip sets, I have never had someone do this. Especially because I take pride in the fact that my natural nails are long so when I looked up at him shocked he then decided to ask me if he could cut my nails. Clearly at this point I let him continue. After he applied my tips I let the man know I wanted coffin shape; for whatever reason he then decided to get up and let another technician take over without saying a word. The woman that took over started to try to do my coffin shaped nails and ended up making them look like diamonds. I was so upset, but also did not want to cause a scene, I let her know and I am guessing she did the best she could. After she applied my color, which I later discovered was not covering the whole nail.All in all I was very displeased and to top it all off after just 4 days my first nail broke and then the next day 2 more..... This owner Cindy is disrespectful to her workers and a choice of customers. They don't sanitize their implements and continuously reuse on clients. They don't clean their bowls. She has these poor girls working for her 12 hours straight no breaks. One of which has done my nails. She constantly has her children running around which is a safety hazard. Cindy is also racist I was very much so mistreated when I came here for services and I will never return to this hell hole again. The place was newly renovated but the credentials still aren't up to par... The service is actually horrible, she has unlicensed nail techs working with her. She has been so rude to the girls working for her. Cindy has no credentials to be training the girls in the first place. She's doing everything illegally. She screams at girls in front of me and other customers numerous times on plenty occasions. There are always kids running rampant in the like it's a playground. My grandmother was even standing out in the bushes when state board came to do their walk through. They do not clean their paraffin machines, they reuse unsanitary implements on customers. The first time I came here for gel the technician did a great job which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. But do not go here if you want SNS!! I went in about 3 weeks ago and had it done they seemed rushed and almost annoyed she kept saying that it was a difficult color to work with but she filed it so thin that you could see my nail through the color she did offer to redo it but after having been there almost 2 hrs already and having my nails buffed so hard I had sores on my cuticles I decided it was one nail you may not notice.  So thinking that was a maybe one time bad day given my first positive experience I decided to try them again. After they soaked my nails I sat down with one girl who after filing and putting the final top coat it started clumping so the lady who did my nails the first time came over and had to redo several nails again(not all of them although the two the didn't redo look and feel terrible) filing my nails till the cuticles were sore and red. Since she was busy I had another technician come over after she filed them down to put the topcoat. I had my SNS done on Thursday night it's Monday and one was again filed so thin you an see the nail and I just got a chip down by the cuticle because the topcoat wasn't applied that far down.  And they are rough and catch on everything. At $40 for the service this is unacceptable. I won't be going to this place again especially since they don't seem to know what they are doing with this product. The first girl working on my nails kept complaining about how awful the product was and how they just needed to come up with something else because the glue was too strong and she didn't like doing them.  So don't go there if you are lookin for SNS and my quest for a better salon continues.   Posting a pic and you can even see the sore on that nail. This has by far been my #1 favorite nail salon. I've been getting my nails and toes done for years. I've searched for a wonderful, professional, and satisfying salon, & by far Top Nail on Chapel Hill rd has been outstanding. I always feel like I'm a celebrity when I'm inside. The managers, Cindy and Sam, know how to do any and every style I have ever asked for. They are both the most humble and angelic owners I have ever met. Even when they have stress going on around them, they still have a smile on their face. Also, the prices are GREAT!!!! I always get to feel like royalty when I walk in. I walked in for a pedi and mani today, the chairs were full and everyone was working. I was told to pick my polish and have a seat someone would be with me shortly. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes which was fine I wasn't in a rush. They tech finished with one lady and called me over to do my mani. She files my nails and then goes to get the water for me to soak and other supplies. As soon as she sits the bowl down in front of me a white lady walks in. She stated that she needed a manicure with French gel. The lady went on to say she went across the street they told her an hour and she was looking for the tech that was doing my nails over at the other shop. The tech told her a 20 minute wait and the lady stated she wanted to get home before the weather got bad, it was already raining and the storm was coming. So I was asked to get up and wait while they took care of her first. Instead of sitting I walked out. I was a faithful customer to this shop every two weeks and always tipped them. But after today I will never spend another dime in the place! Read Less

I walked in to get a pedicure and a fill in and they sat me in the chair so my feet could soak. 40min later no one has even acknowledged me. 15min after I was sitting another lady walked in and they started doing her toes right away.....20min after that another lady walked in and they started doing her nails! At this point I'm livid because everyone is walking past me as if I don't exist.....all of the customers were shaking their heads because they realized how long I've been sitting! Several of the employees doing the pedicures kept looking at me so they knew no one had helped me in anyway but they never once let the manager or anyone else know. I got so pissed I took my feet out of the COLD water grabbed my shoes and walked out. As I was leaving one of the enployees says "omg no one helped her" but still no one proceeded to stop me to apologize.....literally nothing! I'm very very disappointed! This was my second time coming here and will absolutely be my last! The sad thing is I'm a GREAT tipper and they just lost a good customer! This is the worst nail salon ever. The young guy who started to work on my fill-in nicked me 6 times. He was finally done with the fill-in part and then asked another person to paint and finish my nails. I asked if he was new and was told that he usually only works on people when they are busy. This is the worst gel polish fill-in that I have ever had. It's hasn't even been 24 hours and the polish is peeling. The person who painted them did my left thumb twice and it has still peeled off. This is not supposed to happen with gel polish. I'm only giving this place a star because there isn't an option for no stars. Read Less

This place is great! A very relaxing and calming nail salon. My fill in was done by Cindy and she did an excellent job. I enjoyed every minute of my service. I am so glad that we have a nail salon like this in Douglasville. I will be returning!--Patty Agan Read Less
