UNSANITARY & Horrible job on powder gel nails, pedicure, and facial wax. This was by far the WORST nail/feet/wax job I have ever had in my life. My nails popped off after a couple of days. Mostly disturbed by the facial wax, my face is still irritated and its been 2 weeks. A Georgia state department that oversees sanitation should inspect this place. Clean, lots of choices. Make sure you have an appointment and they know what services you require. (pink and white etc) Only certain people can do certain things so you may have a long wait if the one person is busy. Tracy and Holly seem very friendly and helpful. Some others don't talk to you just talk to each other in another language which can be disconcerting (are they talking about you?) Good experiences, average price. I will never go here again . my nail broke after 2 days when I went 2 fix it the man had an attitude and my nail is now crooked..and the polish and/or top coat is cheap.. I picked a pretty almost nude/purple color that turned a ugly brown color in 2 days . they told me I will have 2 pay 10 dollars to pick another color or I have 2 get the same color again only for it to turn in another 2 days ... THE WORST NAIL SALON IN DOUGLASVILLE! I'm so displeased with the subpar service that I experienced today. My manicurist ("Brian") did a horrible job on my manicure so I requested that it be done over. This time a woman redid my nails and the paint job wasn't my concern, however her nonchalant attitude and bad customer service made my decision to never return to this salon very easy. These people are horrible just to get a dang on new set they charge you 60 off rip then of you want them coffin shape it's another 5 or 10 depends on who does your nails . I tried to go get my toes done regular pedicure it's like they can't grab your damn toes and paint them right ! HORRIBLE​. I have been having my nails done for over 20 years and this was the most awful experience I have EVER had. My daughter and I were gravely overcharged, who charges an additional $20 for gel nail polish???? They do! I could have bought several bottles of gel polish and painted my own nails. We we're told by the man at the front first table on the left that it would only be an additional​ $5 however come check out we were charged $50 for a full set of nails, they even had a nerve to charge an additional $5 for the shaping! When we tried to discuss the overpayment stating there must be a mistake we were ganged up on by the workers and being females we felt threatened by the male employee's. We left disgusted. They didn't even try to work or negotiate with us, no customer service. We were told to shut up they were shouting at us, talking about they had to pay rent. We were so disresected. While we were there getting our $50 nail job, a husband of one of the customers already seated came in to complain about the bad work they did on his wife's nails a few days prior and how much more he had to spend to fix them, he was not happy. For $50 it was a very bad job. Several of my nails were crooked which I pointed out but the man doing my nails said it was my hands and the way I was looking at them. And then started talking in his own language to his crew and laughing, they were so rude and disrespectful. They had the nerve to tell me they had to pay rent as if that's a reason to over charge. I will tell the public now to stay away from this place. No prices were posted we went by what they told us. I will be reporting this business to the state. I went here on my graduation day, May 26, 2017 to be exact, and was looking forward to getting a refill. My mum and I walk inside, and there was a nail tech to the left who we asked what the prices were since they were NOT posted anywhere in the shop. He said a refill was $17 dollars which was no problem. I had gel on my nails but was overcharged from the last place so I wanted to do the regular polish however I did ask how much gel would be extra with my refills and he said $5 more. That was a bargain for me so I told them to go ahead and do the gel. I told my mum to get hers done and I was going to pay. For a full set it was $23 dollars. Again, no problem. We were both seated and the work started. My nails were originally supposed to be coffin shaped but the nail place before did a horrible job on them that they just looked square. So I told the man that I wanted them to be shaped up a lot more like coffin and he said that would be $5. I said no problem even though I don't see why they charge extra for more filling. Anyway, when getting up to wash my hands, my mum came over to me and went to wash her hands as well and said she wanted them shaped like mine and her tech said $5 too which I already knew about and I told her to get what she wanted. While my tech was filling my nails my pinky nail appeared to be broken and he fixed that which was $3. So I finish before my mum and go up to pay and my tech says "$25, $28, $73". So I ask what's $73? And where he got that number from and questioned his math. He got agitated and slammed the calculator on the counter top and began to punch in the numbers. My mum overheard and started to ask the same questions while getting her full set finished. I saw he added an EXTRA $20 and kept repeating "you got gel nails" which I responded, "but I didn't get a full set and the other nail tech said it would be $5 extra not $20 otherwise I would've got the regular polish like my first decision" my mom comes over and starts to go off because we were clearly being lied to and overcharged. I didn't mind paying but they should have been 100% honest because we could have gone somewhere else. Their customer service SUCKED! They started ganging up on us as my mum was going off and telling her to "shut up and get out". This completely shocked me coz never have I gone somewhere and have been so disrespected. I paid the money, waited for my change even though the lady nail tech kept trying to talk to me which she got disrespect back and my mum and I got out of there. They were all by the door telling us to get out. I've been going here for many of years. Never had a problem till this year. They got a lot of new people it seems. They are rude and do whatever they want to do! This last time every one of my nails were missed shaped. When I said something the guy acted like he didn't care. He acted like he fixed one but not really. I was so over it bc I told him several times my nails were too long. He didn't shorten them... he kept saying he would file the down but didn't. I also get SNS... have been for over two years. Not once have they EVER put my hand in the light that seal the gel polish. When he put my hand in there I could fell my nails instantly tighten. The rest of the day they hurt! My experience here every time has been GREAT!!! My daughters and myself love this nail shop. Everyone is nice and courteous. Luxury nails prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for. I found getting my nails done at cheap nail shops you end up with nail fungus. Luxury is exactly what the name is!! Great service and nice people. I used to frequent this place many years ago when the owners here came from a different salon. They then sold it. The new people were ok because some of the older people that I knew were still there. But I didn't like how they did my nails anymore so I stopped going there for that reason. But I would occasionally go and get my brows waxed from one girl. So about a week ago I went in and they have since sold the salon again. I tried the new guy out with my brows. I specifically told him not to make them thin because I've been growing my brows out for months now. When I tell you guys I am livid. My brows now are as thin as a pencil tip. I wasn't going to write a review at first but every time I look in the mirror I get so angry. There's no telling how long it will take for them to grow back now because it took forever for them to grow in at the time. I am so angry!!! But of course there's nothing I can do except wait allow time to pass for them to grow back. I will never, I repeat never go here again. The guy told me to trust him I got you. He did absolutely nothing for me except destroy my brows. He even asked why don't you want me to take off too much I said I don't like thin brows and it's hard for them to grow back how I want them. It's a good thing that we first world women can find places of pampering on almost every corner, strip mall, indoor mall, and in every city or even the most rural of places. Conversely, not all spas are created equal. Luxury Nails & Spa has gotten the bulk of my business for two years now. This full-service spa stays busy every day of the week. I have my favorite spa technician that I prefer, but so does everyone else, so I rarely get services with her unless I book an appointment. However, I haven't had a problem with any of the other available techs and utilize them all on a first serve basis. The work is always to my liking. The aesthetics accommodations within the spa leaves a lot to be desired. But, they are hospitable in that they always offer customers a choice of drink (bottled water, can soda, and even wine depending on the occasion). They provide cable TV to watch and the use of individualized spa chairs for service (one other place uses a super long couch perched above a pedicure structure and for short people like me can prove uncomfortable sitting the way you have to after awhile). Luxury Nails & Spa prices are comparable to most other spas of their kind. They use OPI and other popular products are customary in this spa. Worst nail service I have ever had. I called to make a appointment and the man told me it would be $15 to get my gel full set removed along with a manicure. They did not soak off my nails they ripped them off with another fake nail. I asked her to soak them off and she say it would take too much time(I had no where to be). It was extremely painful and it ripped off parts of my real nail. I was complaining how bad it hurt the entire time and considered walking out but tried to get through it. I couldn't even get a color because my nail hurt so bad they put a "strengthener" on my nail. It looked like regular clear polish. I was charged $20 to be put in pain.
