Purchased a Groupon in August for two 60 minute Swedish massages.  The expiration date of the Groupon was Dec 7th so the first week of November I went to redeem my Groupon on the website and found out that Honeycoated was booked through mid January 2018.  I called the number and left a message asking how to handle the situation (if the Groupon would be honored) and requested a call back and never received one.  When I called again she had changed her message to let everyone know she was booked through January and that if we had a coupon that was expiring to go back to the 3rd party that issued the coupon to request a refund.  Groupon doesn't offer refunds so I guess I'm SOL.  Fantastic way to handle your business! This place is a hidden gem!! I purchased a Groupon for services at the Honeycoated Nail Spa and the treatment received was wonderful. Niya the technician was professional and pleasant.  She is VERY knowledgeable about her products and introduced me to a few things.  The vibe was AWESOME.  The aromatherapy along with the soft tunes playing relaxed my mind and body.  It's quaint, quiet, neat and clean. She is very sanitary not your run of the mill nail salon.  She focused on me and took her time doing a great job.  In the process we talked, laughed and she is very down to earth!!  I've already made my next appointment.  I think I've found my new nail technician!! Very poor communication. I sent several messages here on Yelp without a response. When I got her on the phone, she told me she never checks Yelp and now she doesn't have any appointments for the next three months. I couldn't get a word in edgewise on the phone. She was speaking over me loudly and honestly, it's probably for the best I didn't get an appointment with her. I'd stay far away.**update: I tried hard to be fair and kind in my review, but after seeing what the owner posted, I have to be honest. This woman is nuts. She was extremely unprofessional over the phone, as you can probably tell by her response. I contacted the better business bureau and reported her. I made an appointment this morning, excited tO try a small local businesd. I showed up 5 minutes early for the appointment and stood outside knocking since the door was locked. No one answered. I had posted a review earlier but now cannot find it, so here is an UPDATE (unfortunately I cannot change my rating ):  I had made an error and did not book for this morning,  but rather a month out.  Niya called me from her vacation to let me know the error.   Ok.  My bad.  However once she pointed it out her tone and language were curt and aggressive about taking down my review.  She has now contacted me 4 times in less than an hour pursuing my retraction.  She clearly cares about her business and sounds talented from other reviews. This place is trash. The building is run down. The parking is difficult. The service over the phone is unprofessional. They offer happy ending massages in a discreet way, disgusting. And a worker Niya makes it a habit to befriend customers then sleep with their husbands. No kind of values or respect. It shows in the work. Read Less

I just went here today for a deep tissue massage and cold stone facial and was very impressed! At first I was a little wary, as this is a very small place, with only the owner there, but I was surprised to have one of the most relaxing massages in a while. If you're looking for a place to come with a big group this probably isn't it. This place is in a professional building and she can really only take one customer at a time. It's pretty cozy and super private but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Her place was really clean and organized (unlike other salons I've been to). I bought a group on and got a mani/pedi with a foot massage. IT WAS A GREAT MANI PEDI. Niya was soooo good and she really knew what she was doing. She gave great recommendations for colors and my nails looked really good afterwards. She also didn't skimp at all on the foot massage which I appreciated. She's really strong and will really go to town on any massage she gives you. She's also very into all natural/chemical free products and can give you a lot of recommendations for a variety of productsParking can be tricky but there's a private lot in the back with visitor parking. There seemed to be plenty of spots but that might vary if you come during a busy time for other  businesses in the building. I would definitely recommend her! Read Less

I took my mom here for a treat after mothers day. Both my mother and i suffer from fibromyalgia.  We chose the deep tissue massage and cold stone facial massage. I walked out of there feeling like a whole new person, my body completely relaxed. She was professional and  oh so CLEAN. She is def a woman show and the pride she has for what she does is phenomenal.  She even gave me recommendations after noticing my skin  was dry/dehydrated. I will be coming back. While in town visiting for a wedding I decided to get a mani/pedi. In the state I live in I had been going to the same nail tech for over a year and she had her own private business, which has been more appealing than the big shops and i love the thought of supporting small businesses. A friend recommend a place to me, but when I saw this on Yelp I decided to hold off and give this place a try. Site is very professional and work looks very clean. I told several friends about my new find to include the wedding party. Unfortunately, the poor customer service hindered me from trying what could have been an awesome experience. I saw the hrs, so I went to the site to book. I did not find the service that i was interested in so I called because I didn't want to book and put my card info in until I was sure of what I was getting. As I'm calling a text comes through "can't talk.." That's understandable. I go on to ask my yes or no question about a service and she sends a general message back referring me to the site. I explain I've been to the site and need more clarification, no response. My feet, hands, and nails felt very well taken care of and looked great after Niya took care of them.  I had the King Bee mani and pedi and left wondering why I would ever work on my on nails. Niya is an entrepreneur who rents a room in an office building so you'll be the only customer there and the focus of all her attention.
