Have finally decided to write a review this nail salon since I'd tried it out. The lady who answered said they were all booked but would try to get me in. She was optimize of my ideas. I honestly think this is my new favorite nail salon in [ct]. I like this work at here. From pictures, I see that the staff can do even more intricate nail art. My cousin and I went in this morning for one thing only. Stepped in with a picture of what I wanted and they helped me right away. They were very kind and fun. And did my nails EXACTLY how I wanted them. The location is very clean and relaxing. Definitely going back!!! Read Less

This was the absolute WORST nail experience I have ever had. I did SNS in a pretty blue color but the application was horrible. My sister, who is getting newborn photos done next week, ended the experience looking like her nails had been dipped in a vat of clay. (No joke). The guy who did her nails attempted to redo them, with absolutely zero success. At this point, I told them “okay, she is going to have to get these redone before her pictures. Stop trying to fix them (becau...se she’d already been cut 6 times) and we will just walk away now”. Helen, who had done my nails, starts going crazy and screaming about how she has been doing nails for 17 years and she knows what looks good (these did NOT look good). Things started getting heated and I said some things I probably shouldn’t have. But long story short, I pay for my nails and tell them we are not paying for my sisters nails, sorry but not sorry. Me, 8-months pregnant, start walking towards the door because at this point we are fed up. Helen literally pushes me out of the way and LOCKS THE DOOR. Our final conclusion was that we are still not paying for the nails and they can just take them off her now. The only reason I can rate this a 2 Star is that my pedicure was amazing! My first time here. The manager started on my nails then a walk-in came in asking for her (no appointment) so I was turned over to the gentleman there. No explanation given to me. It went downhill from there. This was an SNS manicure and not my first. He filed my nails with the rotary and took way too much off of my nail bed but okay. Then when “filing” the paint he had gotten on my skin (instead of... getting off when wet which would not have hurt) he messed up the finish on my thumb. OK. Stuff happens. He fixed it and told me it was dry. I got the hair out of my eyes and felt the wet on my forehead. The nail was crap. He put another coat of topcoat on and I asked him if I should wait 15 minutes. He said yes and when I checked still wet and again messed up, He finally fixed it 20 minutes later. Again, he is the one who messed up. Oh, and I told him it drove me crazy if the edges of my nails were rough. Yup, they were rough even after I asked him to check them!!!! I was frantically looking for a good place to go and I stumbled across to Princess Nails. This was now my nail salon. My technician made me laugh the entire time. My nails were painted beautiful by them. They had such a huge selection of colors (gel and regular). . . extremely hard to decide. I never feel hurts. I went to Princess Nails with my mom to do mani & pedi. I had the best pedicure. I sat down right away and offered a beverage. They had a big variety of polishes and basic colors. This place doesn't even deserve a star. I went in today and asked for French tip acrylics, witch they didn't do. The nail stylist told me that my nails are to short(I have never been told that at any other place) I shave short nails but its never been a problem. The lady didn't file or straighten my nails before she started. Then she gave me American tips(witch are clear) she cut them crocked and then proceeded to pit the acrylic on them. She then painted the tips white to make them have the French tip look. I have a nail with bumps on them and they didn't fix it. They charged me $40 for something I could do better at home. Read Less

Highly recommend Helen and her staff for you nails and spa needs.  They are very professional and polite.  Helen has been my "go to" person for the past couple of years to get my nails done.  She  is highly skilled at giving manicures, acrylic and gel nails.  Currently, I'm getting gel nails about every two weeks and very happy with the service. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. My mother and I came here on a whim to get pedicures, my mom wanted to treat me since I am 25 weeks pregnant. It seemed promising when we walked in. We get sat, soaking in water and my mom gets her pedicure started before mine. I'm still sitting and two women that came in probably 20 minutes after me get sat for pedicures as well. The male employee there starts on one of them before me. I ask the woman doing my mom's pedicure why I'm waiting and they are being serviced first. I am met with a awful attitudes by both the male and younger female employee (maybe the owner and her husband in retrospect of other horror stories I've heard about them) I declined to get a service because at that point I had been sitting for 45 minutes in water, my feet were swollen and wrinkled. The young woman about to work on me tried to give make excuses and act like I was in the wrong for complaining. My mom is complaining as well and the owner would not stop running her mouth to not only us, but the other customers in there about us! I requested the owners phone number and they wouldn't give it me, the male then claimed he was the owner, and told us to get out of his shop. My mom, half way done with her service, gets up, we both are leaving, both him and his uncaged animal (female employee) are screaming, my mom is screaming and as we are leaving, the husband panics and decides he wants money for her (my moms) service. HE LOCKED THE DOOR ON ME. I am 25 weeks pregnant and he is nudging me with his body as I'm trying to leave. I NEVER RECIEVED A SERVICE. He unlawfully tried to keep me inside the building. I had to use my strength to move this man to get out of the building safely with my pregnant body. He followed us out and I ended up having to call Dawsonville County police officers because of how belligerent and violent these people became over me complaining about their business practices and how they treat customers. Unfortunately I was not able to press charges because I was able to get the door unlocked (after fighting with the male for it) and leave. Recap: Their male employee assaulted a 25 week pregnant woman. The woman who might be owner is equally as trashy, threatening, and rude. Good luck if you go here. This place is horrible. My daughter and I went in together for a pedi. We were seated and soaking someone started my pedi. 2 other customers came in and another tech a male started working on a customer. My pregnant daughter had been soaking 45 min. And asked nicely why she wasn't next and was told one person does both pedi's if you come together. I was almost done with mine. When finally a tech came over with an attitude. Told my daughter to put her feet back in the cold wat...er. My daughter said never mind she didn't want a pedi because she had a attitude. The woman keep attacking us with her mouth. The male told her to shut up and she wouldn't. My daughter told her shut up after awhile of verbal abuse. the male who claimed to be the owner. Told us to leave and demanded i pay.i was willing to pay but I didn't even have A complete pedi. This man locked my pregnant daughter in the store and she was struggling to get the door unlocked. This is my go to nail place around the house. It is just as you would expect any nail place to be. It's is clean and they have tried to fancy it up with chandeliers around the usually money tree and Asian artifacts. The staff does a good job and very nice. They also do wax services and if you ask for eyelash extensions they will actually put on false eyelashes in small little sections. Overall clean and reliable. Read Less
