Love the fact they had a chair for my little girl so she could get the full experience of it but the paint & nails didn't last long at all. My boyfriend and I went here. My boyfriend got a mani/pedi plus a massage. I just got a manicure and my nails painted. My boyfriend had a wonderful experience and the ladies that worked on him were extremely nice. However, the lady I had was not friendly at all. At one point she even sighed like she was having an awful time. She didn't do that great of a job on my nails. I was still picking pieces of my nails off where she had filed them and they were rough at the ends. I already have long nails naturally so I just got them filed and painted, which cost $20. Seemed a bit pricey for just polish. At the end of the manicure she started "massaging" my neck and back but it was pretty painful. It felt like I was receiving an rug burn on my back as she vigorously rubbed the same spot for several minutes. I'm not keen on being touched, which is why I only wanted a manicure. I didn't know that I was going to get a mini massage afterwards. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she shouldn't let that reflect on her work. Read Less

Being a male I was a little skeptical when my girlfriend told me come in and get a pedi on her. I was blown away by how nice everyone was and the whole experience. I just moved to town and was looking for a new salon. Everyone is so nice and it looks like everyone here are regulars which is always a good sign. I am impressed with this nail place! I walked in to try it out and the service was excellent! I got a manicure and a pedicure, they massaged my back and hands. Moon Nails is right in the Kroger shopping center at Hwy 53 & GA 400N.  Their pedicure, which I can attest to, is $20.00.  The whole pedicure experience was great.  They spend a fair amount of time doing the leg massage, which is my favorite part.Lastly, they give you a backrub while your nails are drying, which was a wonderful addition that I did not expect!I will definitely come back to see the friendly staff and get my toes done! My husband and I have been to other nail salons and no one did my nails like the way I wanted. Until we found this nail salon after we moved here three months ago. The place is spotless and organized. They recently did some remodeling so the place looks amazing. You can see where they clean all their equipments before each time they use it. My husband's nails had fungus and his toe nails were in had condition because of his job. Then we came here, and they treated the condition. Now My husband have healthy and beautiful nails again. My husband and I get our nails done once every three weeks. The owner and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. They treat us like family. They give you the best back massage after each pedicure and manicure. They speak English 97 percents of the time so you will know what they say. My husband and I go here and will always return because the the best customer service , the friendly and warm environment, and the amazing job that these ladies do. I would just rate this place OK. They had a lot of color selections which was nice, but I didn't really get a "manicure", all I got was a color change, even though I asked for a manicure.PROS:- great color choices- nice people- great prices- 5 minute arm and neck massageCONS:- small cramped tables- manicure has a few bubbles and some of the polish is on my cuticles- asked for a manicure and just got a color changeOverall it was an ok experience. I have been hesitant to write this because I don't want to hurt anyone's business. However, I have used Moon nails off and on for about 6 months and have seen multiple examples of the issues I'm going to mention, both good and bad. First, the good. They are very kind and most everyone is quite friendly. They give excellent pedicures as far are being thorough, massaging your legs and even your shoulders while drying.BUT, please watch and you will notice,as it took me awhile to see, that they do NOT sterilize the basins (often just wipe it down with a towel) and throw the utensils back into their caddy after using them. The worst thing I've seen is that they use a razor to remove calloused skin and then simply wipe off the blade and use it for the next customer. So, a few months ago, I got a mild infection in one of my toes, suspected it was from there, but wasn't positive. Last week the girl doing my nails cut out the side of a toenail that she must she thought was too wide (to avoid an ingrown nail). It bled at the time and I should have known better and gone home and disinfected it, but forgot. Long story short, I developed a severe infection and ended up at the doctor and on an antibiotic. I just don't understand how the health department hasn't caught them on these unsanitary practices? It's such a shame because these are easy fixes! Read Less

I have gone to their sister salon in Cumming (which has been remodeled beautifully) and they are both just as exceptional. The staff are so sweet and my nails look amazing after several weeks. Best customer service I have seen Out of any company I have been done business with.  The massages where very up and down in terms of quality. Amazing arm massages, but lack luster lower body massage. Do a great job painting solid colors, but nail art needs improvement. Great pedicures with amazing leg massages. Wish I would've gone somewhere else. Services are kind of high compared to other places around here and you don't know it until you're finished. I was told three different prices on the pedicure and when I was all done the final bill was higher than any of them. The foot massage was great but the actual look of the pedicure wasn't that great and the artwork was very bad. It honestly looked like it had been done at home :0(You can't turn on the massage chairs while your feet are soaking  or it costs extra!I saw the women go from chair to chair with the same tools without sanitizing anything.Nothing but cash and checks. No credit or debit cards and cash tips only. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

I come and get my under arms ($20) and eyebrows ($10) waxed most often.  They do a great job, and pay attention to detail.  I have had my nails done here too, and really liked the results.  I don't get them done much anymore because of work though.  They do great pedicures, and almost always give you a 5-10 minute massage after working on you! This is a clean place, not too expensive, friendly staff, and they did a good job. I wish they had more colors to choose from and carried OPI.
