I asked for gel polish over my acrylics. 1. The shape and length of my nails were all different. 2 and the most important: the nail tech didn't make sure my gel polish had fully cured. About 30 mins after I left the shop, my nails started bubbling up and peeling, indicating the second and third coat of gel polish hadn't fully cured. I'll never go back to them. Ever. Read Less

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. I’ve had SNS done every time and by different people but Jenny is by far the best. She is quick, accurate and knows my style now. I’ve had a couple of times that I wasn’t 100% happy with other people but I gave it a second chance and I now see that they have only kept their best people on staff regularly. The pricing is no better or worse than other places but you get good service and very nice people along with it. Read Less

I just spent $40 for a pedicure that the massage was like applying lotion to my own legs, and $50 for the tech to glue my finger to the nail so badly that it ripped off and will most likely get infected. Never returning to this salon. And those are supposed to be matte black, not messy powder. Read Less

RIP OFF! THIS PLACE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR MONEY!! Worst place ever! Me and my friend went in there today to get a pedicure..we figured it was going to be a good experience because the place is new and looked nice. Well we didn't ask the price of a pedicure before hand because I just assumed a basic spa pedicure would be around $25. We got gel, which I understand might be a small up charge but nothing crazy. I also got my nails painted with a gel and she told me it would be $20 for my nails. They rushed through our pedicure and cut me a couple of times....IT WAS AWFUL. The worst part is what we ended up paying. As I started walking up to the desk to pay the lady says "oh $5 more dollars for your nails because they're long" LIKE WHAT? She just tacked that extra 5 on as I was leaving. Then her and another lady that worked there were speaking to each other about something (I couldn't understand) before giving me my total of $69 dollars?! All I did was get my nails painted with gel and a basic spa pedicure. After leaving I looked up their prices online. $22 for a basic spa pedicure. How did my $22 pedicure and $20 polish change end up being 69??? They ripped my friend off too and charged her $38 for a basic spa pedicure. They ripped us both off $16 dollars. They advertise a sign outside if you pay over $50 you get a free $10 gift card....they never gave it to me.I realized as I was leaving and then went back in to get it and they laughed like "oh sorry we forgot". I have been reading many reviews about this place after my experence and it seems like everyone has the same issue.....they say something cost a certain price and then when you go to pay its like $15+ more. OK literally worst nail salon that I have ever been to in my life.  Me and my friend went here because it was a convenient location and it looked nice. Well we didn't ask the price of the pedicure before hand because I assume that it would just be around $25 for a basic spa pedicure. As she was giving me the pedicure she asked if I would like the callus remover I said yes and she said it would be an additional $5  so I was Ok with that the price online says a basic spa pedicure with callous remover should be $27. I also got my gel polish removed and redone THATS IT THOUGH no shaping/nothing. Initially she told me that a polish change was $20.... as I was walking up to check out she said it was going to be an additional five dollars because I had a longer nails? As if that has anything to do with the cost? Anyways the moral of the story is we got so screwed over she charged me an extra $16 on top of that like an idiot I tipped her.... it wasn't until after I left and I looked online at the prices to figure out how badly I've been ripped off my total came to $68 for a basic pedicure with callous remover and polish change. Awful rushed job on my manicure and pedicure today. Not only that they scam with their prices and make it up when you go to pay based on the customer. The sign had one price I got to the register and was told it was something else. 20 dollars more. This was after I confirmed several times the price before and during my service. Will never come back here. My manicure looks awful as well. With all the options for nail places around, do not waste your time or money here. Really upset that I had such an awful experience. I thought I'd try this b/c GA 400 nails is usually so crowded.  Nope.  This was the crappiest sns job I have ever seen.  I was placed in a chair -- threw some foils on my fingers to remove the old SNS (which lasted from June 15 - July 13th.  Seriously -- it wasn't even chipping or pulling up.   And the dude was irritated when I didn't know what color I wanted.  I had these foils on -- it was impossible to go through the little color pallets that he just threw at me. The biggest issue I had at first was - my manicure wasn't smooth on top....and the edges (at the cuticle) got caught on everything.   There are bumps in the polish.    I've never had this happen before.  Not real sure he knew what he was doing.  I got this done on a Thursday...SNS...you know that lasts for weeks.  By Sunday, my ring finger nail had broken.  Tuesday, my LEFT PINKIE finger chipped.  2 days later my pointer finger completely gone.  And of course my medium nails are now broken...and I'll have to start over.My daughter got hers done as well..sns... and it looks like just gobs of sns powder on top of her nails.  They didn't file it down at all.  Find another location. I would not return to this location to get my nails, or any other service, done. Honestly, the drive to Cumming or Gainesville is worth it. I came and the service was awful. Aside from that, the quality of the acrylic nails I got were not that great. Chipped easily and I asked for an almond shape, and most nails were not even with their counterpart. I've been here 3 times so far since they opened. Phong is definitely the only one that I trust to do a decent manicure. Everyone else is not worth the price!! Expect to  get hurt when they push your cuticles back and for them to not do a great job covering your nail evenly. Hopefully we can get a decent nail salon in Dawson soon. Read Less

It is pretty safe to say that I will never come back to Azalea Nails ever again. I'm going back to GA Nails on Keith Bridge Road. I only started trying this location because it is more convenient to my home than my previous salon. I started coming here at their opening and at first it was a positive experience. I had Tina and Fong do my nails and toes and everything was great. However their staff has increased and I rarely see Tina or Fong anymore and I get "stuck" with someone else. I've been "grinning and bearing it" for the last few months. Putting up with polishes that random change color on you like maybe the polish has been thinned out too much or something. Randomly putting up with them cutting my toes and literally hurting me during the pedicure process. My friends daughter couldn't even get a watermelon painted on her toe that looked remotely decent. Today I went in and asked for gel polish on my nails. No manicure just to change the polish ($20) and a basic pedicure ($18). Well. Both people opted to just do whatever they wanted and would assure me that they were doing what I had asked for. Then my pedicure is at the put on the top coat phase and the guy starts putting on my sport sandals. When I asked him why he was putting on my shoes and why he hadn't put the top coat on he and 2 other people kind of argued in beyond broken English something about 3 mins. So he continues to insist to put my sandals on and THEN top coat polishes my toes. Now. I have to try to walk to the light station to dry my toes without bumping my toes on my sandals. Meanwhile, the girls next to me received the standard foam flip flops to use. I get to the register to find I have been up charged by $15. I got a $30 polish change and a $23 basic pedicure. When I again stated what I had truly asked for they continued trying to explain something in broken English and just "play dumb" about what had happened. I really wanted this salon to work out because I hate the parking lot and the traffic to get to GA Nails on Keith Bridge Road but I am quitting Azalea Nails and going back to GA Nails. At least GA Nails listens to what you want and they work with you.UPDATE: The gel polish that should at least last two weeks didn't even last a couple of days. Two days into my trip and they gel polish was lifting and snagging my hair in the shower. I went here on limited time as I was on my lunch break. I told them that and asked if there was enough time. I was enthusiastically told yes of course we can do that now. I think most nail salons fudge on the time it will take you to be seen. Anyway, I picked out the color and sat down to have my gel polish removed. He put the foil on and left it there and disappeared for about 20 minutes. I actually requested a manicure too. He didn't really DO a manicure. I've been going here since they opened, but no more! I will drive wherever I have to to get it done right. I had my pedi yesterday but today you can't tell. I have never been happy with the polish job on my toes, but till now it didn't really matter, it has been cold. But I'm going to the beach in two days and wanted my toes and fingers to look good, I'm there on business and have to hand things out and my hands will be noticed. I told them I was going to the beach and wanted my toes to look good, but I had bubbles in my nails and they said they would redo them. This is after sitting with the foil wraps to take off the old SNS for over an hour! I finally pulled them off an removed them myself, my pedi was over and I didn't want to sit there longer with acetone on my fingers. I finally got my nails done after moving from the pedicure chair. I thought the color looked wrong, but checked the color on the container, it was the same as my toes, 405. The poster on the wall says one color, 3 choices, so you think they will match. They don't. I really dislike the color, and discover the toes need to be redone, I've already been there over 2.5 hours! So they want to put gel on top of the fingernails to fix the color, and repaint the toes. I had been there so long my guests had arrived at my house before me!  I said I would come back the next day, today, I called ahead, they said come on in. I got there and was asked to wait 15-20 min. I said I wanted to do a complete color change, not try to add to the top of something I already don't like.
