I just got my nails done and they had to redo them because the lady couldn’t understand what I was saying or didn’t care if she could. The lady asked if I wanted gel and I said no and she said gel is better and did it anyways. They were also supposed to be ombré and even on the second go round they still didn’t get it right. OH. MY. GOD! So let’s be real, I’ve never heard of PS Nails and I live right down the road. I usually always go to the same place by Petco, but their attitudes are unreal. The intrigues of this location to me are its welcome to walk-ins and its detail to specific requests.  Over a dozen times I have come to get my toes done, and t have brought in friends or family members each time.  They always take time to complete requested services which is great because I always come late in the afternoon (mine is a night-shift schedule).  Designs for my toenails have been icons idiosyncratic to me: from UTC, Christmas, nursing, various committees, awards ceremonies, summer, winter, fall, watermelon, yellow, my children's birthdays, my wedding symbols, etc.  End results always get response off of my peers, friends or family members.  These great nail pros look at my quick pen-to-paper drawings or listen to my explanations and just copy it.  Occasionally they have redone a nail because of miscommunication, but they are great to make changes if needed.  There is such versatility here. Whenever I am lacking creativity, they have two thick books of ideas for designs.    I just want to add that the zebra print nails this place received some scathing comments over could have been a little more white and black striped, but I love the addition of the blue to match denim~especially in any little girl's world.  If the little girl said it was good, it is.  If you weren't there to clarify, hmm; maybe it discounts the negativity in your comment.  Again, be clear in what you want, and correct wrong on the first nail you find it error in, and they will leave you with nails you will love.  They are just human.  I feel they are rather tolerant humans and I have always been pleased. Do not go to this place. I’ve gone before and the lady made every one of my cuticles bleed, I gave them a second chance and I went in to get ombré nails. I even gave her a picture to go by and she said they could do that. Well by the end, they weren’t ombré, just a solid color and when I told her that’s not what I wanted, she just said “it’s okay, next time.” And told me to go pay. I made the mistake of giving them a third chance, and this time the lady put on way too many coats of gel polish and the next day, I had air bubbles on almost all of my nails. When one bubble popped, I found out that it was STILL wet inside, despite going DAYS ago. I’m done giving these people my money. That’s all they care about and they don’t even take into consideration what you want, only what they want. Read Less

I just came from there and I have to say even though I’m always happy when I leave, I can say that my nails haven’t looked this good ever before !! The lady that did them today her name is Lynn! Had a couple of pedicures here and they've been fine however rushed. Had a gel manicure and it was peeling not even 24 hours after I had them done. Five days later and half of them have peeled completely off and my nails are weak and ruined. Read Less

We did a walk-in here. My mom, myself, son, his girlfriend. We were seen immediately. We were all happy with our service. My girl was very nice and did a great job, especially with the design she painted on my nail. She did not speak English very well. We will go back again. Read Less

Literally the worst nail place I have been to. Everyone there is rude and she did what she wanted to my nails rather than what I wanted. There was glue all under my nails and they were all very uneven and very sloppy. Do not recommend anyone to go there. Read Less

I don't know the name of the lady who did my manicure, but she sat at the front table and was much more concerned about everything else happening in the salon than with me as her customer.  She hopped up at least a dozen times during the 15 minutes that I was in the chair and managed to cut my cuticle until it began to bleed. She didn't say five words to me during the process and failed to even thank me as I left. Why I sat and waited 25 minutes to be treated so poorly is beyond me. It is possible that some of the other ladies that work here would provide better service, but this woman, who appeared to be a manager or in charge, is simply pathetic.  Praying I don't and up with some horrible infection as a result of this cut cuticle. I would look elsewhere for service since it is sorely lacking here. Read Less

I had gel nail Polish done for the first time at my destination wedding a few weeks ago. I broke one of my nails a couple days ago and it looked jagged and terrible. I went to PS nails to see if they could fix it  (my first time here). They were friendly. The salon is nicely decorated and looked clean. Lee redid my gel Polish for me and put acrylic on my broken thumb nail so it would look like the rest of my nails. He took the time to explain to me how to care for them since I told him I don't get my nails done often. He asked me several times while doing my nails if they were how I wanted and if I was okay. I thought he paid attention to detail and I'm very pleased. I would not hesitate return and request Lee. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I glad to file a couple of my nails some when I got home. Read Less

I got my nails and eyebrows done here last night. Vicki (or whoever was in the first chair) waxed my eyebrows and they are so thin that it's hard to believe a professional nail shop would do such an inept job. She was also doing about 10 others things while doing my nails. Maybe it's because I'm from out of town, but this nail shop is way below par and unprofessional. I have used this place many times, but, I won't ever go back. I took my 10 year old niece there for both mani and pedi. She asked for zebra print and I have attached a pic of what she got. I asked the girl what it was and she said zebra. I wish i had talked to management, but I didn't want my niece to think her nails looked horrible. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years. I have moved out of the area but still drive to Dalton for Vicki and Linda's nails. Cleanliness has NEVER been a concern of mine while going here - not what I can say for others shops. Ask for Linda....she's amazing...pedicures, manicures, gel, acrylics. Read Less
