My daughter came here to get a fill-in and pedicure. As soon as we walked in it was very uncomfortable because the ladies in there just stopped and starred before saying hello how may I help you, I told them what I wanted the young lady says to me we are not doing any nails today, yet you have several customers in the salon getting serviced. Even though they have a better selection of polishes than other nearby places, my gel didn't even last for a week and definitely was not worth the money and the polish looked pretty sheer. The place is also severely understaffed. They only had two people working on a Friday night. Would go to Unique Nails next time unless I find somewhere better in Covington, but the workers were extraordinarily friendly and I've never talked to such friendly and funny people (would come back for the conversations) Read Less

I go almost every week and the ladies remember my name age and more and the colors that they have shown me that I liked and didn't like. They are very polite and have great work. The only flaw is fake coffin nails are not their thing. Read Less

This does not even deserve one star. The workers were very polite, but when we went in, my friend and I knew we were not going to get our nails done there for my wedding. We walked in because of the "Walk-ins welcome." However, they need to put "Walk ins only welcome depending on what you want." We told one worker what we wanted, and another chimed in saying we should do "just gel." That is not what we wanted, so we inquired about other services saying that we wanted something nice for my wedding. She congratulated me, but although there were NO other appointments, she had no time. She was just "waiting" for it to become busy. If I could put negative stars, I would. Horrible I went Tuesday there and got my nails done and my feet okay ..... first of all my nails are crooked they don't look like the coffin style nail like I wanted they didn't even let me pick my own colors I wanted orange and pink and I got white and pink because the lady kept trying to tell me it wouldn't look right so I just let her do it I didn't have time to fuss with her then I asked for an design and they couldn't do that either so yeah okay now my feet I'm 8 months pregnant I wanted to relax with my feet in the water ummm yeah that didn't happen I put my feet in the water she started right then I maybe sat in the chair 5 min and she was done with my feet i was mad as hell and when I got home my paint on my toes have already came off two toes I went back the next day they repainted the two toes and here it is Thursday just got in bed and I noticed the paint is gone off again I will never go back not worth the money at all!!!!!!!! Walked in as well, because there's a big sign "walk ins welcome", well apparently not. We waited 45 mins for them to do a pedicure and manicure on my 3 year old and I, after all was said and done we got an express mani and a polish change. Gracie was very helpful but the whole salon was unorganized as to who had an which appointment, and the staff working there is very rude!!! When we were asked, we asked for 2 manicures for my 5 year old daughter and me and they responded with a big sigh and "It will be at least 30 minutes." They waited for us to leave - and we did. My husband and I went this past Friday to get mani/pedis.  Though we were not rushed out I did not feel this was anything special.  The staff barley spoke to us.  I could live with that but what I can't live with is the fact the person who did my gel nails tore my nails up taking the old polish off... not to mention my cuticles.    No clipping, just filed them off.  The polish is too thick.  Pedicure was just okay, nothing special.  Shame on me for not speaking up and stopping her. I've gone multiple times. No matter who does my nails they always take their time and do a amazing job. Very exceptional compared to other nail salons in the area who tend to rush through my appointment. I also get my eye brows done here and I'm always complimented on them! This place have been the best pedicure I have ever had. I have visited many so call nail salon spas that did not offer the quality tranquility and expertise this place provided. It was worth it . love the steam towel I've never had them before leaving my feet nice and warm the beginning of relaxation. I tried the Rum spa Pedicure and my husband tried the Tropical Paradise Pedicure. We wanted something special and looking at their website we came across to the Ultimate Pedicures and that one sounded great fresh tropical fruits pineapples oranges awakening our senses; just an amazing setting a really great treat for my feet. I asked my husband how was his He responded " Equally as amazing"The other thing I loved about this place is that everyone spoke in English and their attention was on the client and not carrying on conversations with each other. The pedicure chairs offer one of the most blissful massages I have ever had by a machine, and the staff is constantly making sure you are comfortable. They were also super clean and offered advice to follow at home to keep my feet nice and soft. one thing they really know what they're doing you can tell when you ask them questions and they answer immediately is nice to learn about pedicures and not feel like they just painted your toes .If you are looking for a cheap chop shop this is NOT your place, might not have the "Spa" name but it sure feels like it. Am a teacher and was given a gift certificate from Tropical Nails, at first did""nt know where it was located; I drive every time around the Covington Square and missed every time, but got there and an amazing lovely atmosphere , beautiful decor and most important NO SMEll! :) very nice people, helping me out to pick the best color for me, a great selection my favorite color oh cabana boy:), very impress and nothing like i had before, a great surprise to my feet with a nice steam towel, the best massage and the color stayed for a month as they told me guarantee to last. month after I took my whole family my husband loved it, he never had a pedicure and they recommended a jelly pedicure amazing green jelly, living his feet nice and soft, (did not hurt;) my daughter surprise with a princess mini-pe di first time I see princess chair for them, the designs so lovely and actually stayed, so friendly and a lot of knowledge about DOS and don'tS more important they speak English .
