This nail shop is LAME! They don’t do any new styles of nails. They try to get you to spend more money, but their work is played out. They need to look on Pinterest and practice. I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I will never return. It was packed when I arrived and I politely asked the lady to the left how long would the wait be. She replied rudely, "well first you need to tell me what you need and then I can sit you in a chair and tell you how long it will be because I am the owner and that's how I run my business!" I was completely thrown off guard. I wasn't expecting her to react that way to a simple question. I told her I needed a full set. She told me to sit at station 9 and said the wait would be about 5 mins. After waiting 20 mins I decided to get up and leave. Do not ever go to this nail salon. Owner/manager Kim is the rudest person ever and racist. I arrived at 3pm and asked for a pedicure and fill in. She sent me to spa chair #7, and that's where I stayed for an hour. Finally someone did my pedi(older lady very sweet) finished and told me to wait for Kim. Finally at 5pm I walk over to Kim and ask was she doing my nails or who? Meanwhile, a little girl (Caucasian) was doing cartwheels-through the salon and accidentally knocked the polish down shattering it. Her mother (unfazed) sat there as Kim smiled and reassured her it was fine. Not my salon so it doesn't bother me either. The mother then leaves to get her credit card she'd forgotten and promised to return. Kim smiled and reassured her everything was fine. She then asked me to sit it her chair, which I did, and finally starts speaking her rage of the incident in Vietnamese. Jerking my arm, very impatient with my wrist injury but I remained quiet trying to understand her frustration. She was about to begin to fill in my solar set with white (my normal), but I told her I was doing black to match my toes today. She looked at me pissed and said condescendingly "that will be 33 today for you not 26" (mind you that's no problem although we never discussed price to begin with). I asked how much (for the future since I always wear white and would want to go back to it after this) is color change. She responded "You can't ask me nothing , I already told you 33 take it or leave it". Shocked I asked her to repeat herself in which she did! Loudly! How am I treated with insult but the lady before me with kindness while her child destroyed your salon? The reason I say racist is bc this isn't the first time. She skips over Black women and speaks rudely to us while remaining professional, kind, and preferably patient to Caucasian women all the time. Watch it. Today was my first visit to this salon.The Service was horrible, I walked in & was not greeted or helped at all. So when I took it upon myself to ask how long it would take for my toes to be done, the owner who sits at the front left was very short with me! I was directed to sit and wait to be serviced. After sitting there with no updates for 30 mins & counting the 5 women who walked in after me & that were seated, I asked politely how long might it take once again she rolled her eyes and answered “I don’t know.” Completely rude! I love going to Kim's but I'm getting sick and tired of her being rude to her paying customers. I have been using this nail shop for the past 3+ years and I am strongly considering finding a new nail home. Kim you ARE NOT always right. If someone makes an appointment they should be seen at that time. I called and made an appointment as soon as they opened for a later time and she said that was fine. I waited for 30 minutes because I was early and my nail tech finished a little late. Then she took another customer because she had been waiting. I set an appointment with owner Mrs Kim, because she said she would fix my nails free of charge. This is the only reason I came to this salon. To show i appreciated her kindness I was going to pay for a pedicure. To my surprise Mrs Kim acted as if she didn't remember me or our agreement. She sent me to another nail technician, who had a terrible attitude and behaved like she didn't want to do my nails. She made smart remarks the whole time she did my nails! Once I was finish with my service Mrs Kim said I had to pay for both my nails and pedicure. I called her out on her lie and left. When I first walked in I thought it looked a little crowded. However the woman at the front told me it would only be a 5-10 minute wait. It was about 10 minutes and I was seated with Selene. All the ladies were very friendly and helpful. Selene did a wonderful and even job on my acrylics. She was very sweet and knowledgeable! She knew exactly what to suggest when I showed her what I wanted. I got heat changing gel and am very happy with the result. So much that I'm taking my mother there for a pedicure later today! Wish I could attach a picture to show how terribly file some of my nails are. Kim, the owner, did my nails. I asked for SNS and for my nails to be cut short. I have been to several other salons and they patiently allow the old SNS to soak off. Not here! She uses the electric grinder to remove the SNS. My nails didn’t soak for more than 5 mins for both hands. I felt like she was going to remove my real nail. She starts doing the base coat without cutting my nails down. ... She’s running her mouth so much to her employees she didn’t pay any attention to what I was saying about needing to cut my nails. When she finally does respond she tells me she’ll file them when finished. Well she did file the daylights out of my nails and some of them have the whole side of the nail filed off!!! If I could give a 0 I would. I got a pedicure and full set and as soon as I sat down both people just started pointing, talking, and laughing, which I thought was extremely rude! The guy that did my nails stopped every 5-10 mins and got on his phone, was listening to music the whole time, something else I thought was extremely rude. How he painted my nails was absolutely ridiculous. A kid could've done a better job. Then when I asked him to do a design he huffed and puffed and did it extremely sloppy. Stick to your normal person if you find one that will actually pay attention and care about the work they are doing to your nails. I had a last minute event and had to get my nails done on Sunday (9/17/17) and had to settle for a guy that talked on his phone the whole time, didn't listen to what I wanted and tried to blame MY nail for his neglect. I should have known it would be a problem when he talked about how "bad" Celine did my nails when I first sat down to soak off my SNS polish. I'm beyond irritated and frustrated. I went here and got a full set with gel polish and two designs ended up dropping over $60 dollars here. It's not even a week later on one finger the entire nail came off. On my pinky it broke when I stratched my arm. They were like paper. If course it's the customer fault. Cheap products and poor customer service. Read Less

My friend and I went.. she has a full set and pedicure , I just got a full set. Her pedicure started then her full set. I've been to places where they can do them both at a time. But instead after her pedicure she had to wait on me to get done and her get her full set.. I had Kim and of course so did my friend since she had to wait on someone else available. Kim (owner)was nice BUT I understand you have a business to run , she wasn't talking to other people about buisness i do not believe ! Not when they are all laughing and such. Kim even got on her phone while doing my friends nails and started listening to music. I do find that rude. I went to this salon to have eye lashes applied. The lashes were applied incorrectly. I spoke with the owner to let her know I wasnt satisfied with the way it looked and I wanted them off. The manger told me the lashes were applied that way because the way my eyes are shaped. I have had my lashes done in the past and my eye shape has never been an issue because there's nothing wrong with my eye or the shape. The manger and the employee became very rude and at that point I didn't want them to fix it, I just wanted my money back. I was to afraid to have them fix it, I wasn't sure if they would snatch my real lashes off and I wasn't taking a chance. I will never ever visit this place again. First off I had an appointment and they clearly don't go by that. I asked for a spa pedicure with sugar scrub that I didn't get, and they wanted to charge me for. I am also not happy with my nails I have clue all over every finger at one point my fingers were glued together. The paint job is crappy and my 5 year old could've done better, I had my niece sitting in the car seat beside me the lady then looked at me and said "I'm sorry you have a baby" and I asked her for what re...ason ... I have been going to Kim Nails for 4+ years, they do an excellent job. I will not have nails done any where else. I see negative reviews and all I can say is I have seen some arrogant customers who complain about everything, I have witnessed some in the salon, and Kim and her staff have always been very professional and have bent over backwards to accommodate everyone's needs. Went this morning and paid $10.00 extra for a Deluxe Pedicure. Granted they were very busy, but I was supposed to get a longer leg massage and a shoulder massage while my toes dried. I was done with my leg massage before the girl in the chair beside me who got a regular pedicure. My shoulder massage lasted 10 seconds. If you are to busy to do the extras, don't offer them and then take our money when you don't do them!!!! Read Less
