I have been a customer for about 2 years and I have always been patient with them. I have had instances where I have waited over an hour and a half to be serviced and I did not say a word. Today has however left a bad reception for me. I Was told 1 price by the technician for my nails when time came to pay I was then charged an additional $35 to what I usually paid. I was absolutely floored, but still I gave her my card. When she came back I ask whats with the price difference she then tried to explain the math to me that she realized did not add up she then said oh sorry.... as a regular customer I am very concerned as to how a mistake as that could have been overlooked. If I had not asked about this price difference I would never have known that I was completely overcharged.
Edit: When I asked the price I was told $45.I have never been charged $15 for a design on my finger, nor was I refunded for the overcharge. I simply left knowing I was overcharged. I did not receive a refund for anything.I’m not sure how you were able came up with a cash refund that was never given to me. Please feel free to check your cameras

I just moved to the area and I noticed a lot of nail salons. I went to a different one because it opened at 9, but I was there til 9:50 with no service so I went to this one and received service immediately. The customer service was great. I really enjoyed my pedicure with Tony. He does a great massage. I also really like the way my eyebrows look. Thank you both. I will be back!

The owner acts as though she’s doing her customers a favor & her customer service skills sucks. You’re charged an arm & a leg for their services & when its not to your liking, she gets an attitude. Also, I had individual eyelashes done by one of her associates & it was poorly done. Within 2 hrs, they fell right off. Since they were closed when it happened, I went back the following day letting her know what happened, & the owner was very nonchalant. I assumed that she will fix the issue as I sat & waited for over 30 mins..... that never happened, she kept taking other clients. I requested a refund which I never got back from her but I know how to deal with business owner like her.

I went to nail star on 3/12/18 which was a Monday. I had sns as I normally do, by Friday 3 nails had chipped. I have never had this happen with sns before. I called on Saturday spoke with the manager and she told me that I could come in today which is Monday 3/19/18 and she would fix my nails. I just came back and a lady greeted me and I explained what had happened and she told me that they would have to charge me to fix it because it had been a week. I then asked her to call the manager after going back and forth with her for about 3 minutes. She then told me to have a seat and she would fix them. Instead of soaking them off as they always do she immediately picks up the drill. I asked her if she would be soaking them off she said no that she would file them off and fix the 3 that are chipped which would leave me with 3 nails different from the others. I said no thank you and politely left. I am very unhappy with the way that I was treated because of an issue on their part.

It's like a factory here. Was totally ignored. People walked in after me and were seated right away. It would not have been a problem if someone would have acknowledged that I was even there but nope....
It's like a factory here. Was totally ignored. People walked in after me and were seated right away. It would not have been a problem if someone would have acknowledged that I was even there but nope. 2 workers just lounging in the pedicure chairs. Other workers rushing around in a hurry to get no where. I finally asked the little girl at the counter when I would get my nails started and she asked others and they told her to seat me at a table. Sat at the table for 30 minutes without anyone coming to do my nails. I got up and walked out. This place is a definite pass.

Im a lot confused on how this place has such a high score. I went there a couple of days ago and I got a regular pedicure that literally took less than 10 minutes. I saw everyone coming in asking for Linda for pedicure because she did a great job on her customer that was sitting next to me. I complained to the manager and she didn't do anything. I will never return for any type of services. I was supposed to get me nails done but after I saw how I was being treated I changed my mind!! They have no customer service skills and I won't be spending my hard earn money no where it's not appreciated.

I have been going to Nail Star for approximately 5yrs now. Only 2x I had to have then refill my gel nails after 3 days separation from my cuticle. I find that when I don't go to Kevin for my nails or Linda for my feet, my results are different. The owner is cool and recently upgraded the shop to accomodate more customers. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Despite, the past reviews, I went here with my bestie as a spare of the moment pedi. I have to say I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodated my request for something pretty and different. Crystal was the nail tech that did my pedi. She suggested the deluxe pedi and I absolutely enjoyed it. The massage was great and the product smelled good enough to eat. All in all my time at Nail Star was 5 star. I will most definitely coming here for another " impromptu " get away.

I got an SNS manicure ($30) this past Friday as a new customer, only for it to chip, crack and peel literally 2 days after! While out of town on vacation, I called them several times for several days to explain what happend, and they never picked up! When I went back in there to repair my nails (less than a week from getting them done), all I got were attitudes (as if I messed up my nails) and no apology, especially from this young Tina chick (who I finally realized is the owner). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! I will NEVER step foot in there again nor will I recommend anyone going there.

I know it was acrylic they are over charging people for gel nails using acrylic and just painting the acrylic nails with gel polish. The lady sitting next to me asked for gel as well and she asked them if the powder they used was acrylic, they told her they gave her acrylic because it was "cheaper". They are robbing and deceiving people and not giving customers what they ask for. I would not go there unless you want acrylics or gel polish on your natural nails.

However, I have had gel polish applied here twice and it lasted a full 2 weeks. I gave only 4 stars because the restroom needs renovations badly.

I overheard some of the employees talking negatively about African American customers while the tech was doing my nails. Interesting since as I was getting serviced I noticed that at least 95% of their customers are African American. After what I witnessed and heard at this salon I definitely won't be spending my money here. BE MINDFUL OF WHERE YOU SPEND YOUR DOLLARS PEOPLE!

Nail star is completely awful! I've have gone here for fill-ins and pedicures and I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit! One guy (glasses and acne) messed up my nails trying to cut them down when I got a fill-in now all of my nails are peeling away from the nail and acrylic. I went back 3 days later and they told me my new nails were old and I needed a full set. The only thing she did was cake nail glue on my fingers. No one apologized or anything. Then they started speaking their native language.

They are the only to that won't disappoint you, the other nail techs skills aren't good & they give not so good customer service. Tina & Vicky are totally different from them, they rock! They both are good with designs & are hip to different nail techniques. Sometimes Tina can come off as having an attitude but she's not like that, once you start talking to her you'll see her true personality, but let me warn you she's high demand so she's always busy. I always see Vicky--- That's my girl, my nails are always right & I've never left disappointed. The nail salon is somewhat of a friendly vibe, the lady that welcomes you is always making sure everyone is ok. The nail salon stays packed so it'll be best to call ahead & schedule an appointment, especially if you want Tina or Vicky! I recommend this nail salon, try it out!

This place is horrible. It's not sanitary at all they can't do a simple mani and pedi. My polish job was awful I could still see the white tip of my natural fingernail, I needed more coats of polish obviously cause my color looked nothing like the bottle. Eyebrow wax was not clean at all. Someone needs to call HAZMAT now....

Please aee5Linda for pedicure & Kevin for gel nails or overlays. Usually pretty crowded by Thursday of course but overall great nail shop. I've been frequenting this establishment for 10+ years.

I have been going to Nail Star for approximately 5yrs now. Only 2x I had to have then refill my gel nails after 3 days separation from my cuticle. I find that when I don't go to Kevin for my nails or Linda for my feet, my results are different. The owner is cool and recently upgraded the shop to accomodate more customers. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

They reuse some of their products. Not very friendly. One employee used restroom and only used water to wash her hands. They were quick though. I was in and out.

Despite, the past reviews, I went here with my bestie as a spare of the moment pedi. I have to say I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodated my request for something pretty and different. Crystal was the nail tech that did my pedi. She suggested the deluxe pedi and I absolutely enjoyed it. The massage was great and the product smelled good enough to eat. All in all my time at Nail Star was 5 star. I will most definitely coming here for another " impromptu " get away.

I got an SNS manicure ($30) this past Friday as a new customer, only for it to chip, crack and peel literally 2 days after! While out of town on vacation, I called them several times for several days to explain what happend, and they never picked up! When I went back in there to repair my nails (less than a week from getting them done), all I got were attitudes (as if I messed up my nails) and no apology, especially from this young Tina chick (who I finally realized is the owner). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! I will NEVER step foot in there again nor will I recommend anyone going there.

I know it was acrylic they are over charging people for gel nails using acrylic and just painting the acrylic nails with gel polish. The lady sitting next to me asked for gel as well and she asked them if the powder they used was acrylic, they told her they gave her acrylic because it was "cheaper". They are robbing and deceiving people and not giving customers what they ask for. I would not go there unless you want acrylics or gel polish on your natural nails.

I like this place. The employees tend to be very friendly. TK is very nice and does really good pedicures. I do not get acrylic or anything done to my fingernails. However, I have had gel polish applied here twice and it lasted a full 2 weeks. I gave only 4 stars because the restroom needs renovations badly.

I overheard some of the employees talking negatively about African American customers while the tech was doing my nails. Interesting since as I was getting serviced I noticed that at least 95% of their customers are African American. After what I witnessed and heard at this salon I definitely won't be spending my money here. BE MINDFUL OF WHERE YOU SPEND YOUR DOLLARS PEOPLE!

Nail star is completely awful! I've have gone here for fill-ins and pedicures and I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit! One guy (glasses and acne) messed up my nails trying to cut them down when I got a fill-in now all of my nails are peeling away from the nail and acrylic. I went back 3 days later and they told me my new nails were old and I needed a full set. The only thing she did was cake nail glue on my fingers. No one apologized or anything. Then they started speaking their native language.

I LOVE Nail Star, only people I recommend you to see is Tina or Vicky. They are the only to that won't disappoint you, the other nail techs skills aren't good & they give not so good customer service....

They are the only to that won't disappoint you, the other nail techs skills aren't good & they give not so good customer service. Tina & Vicky are totally different from them, they rock! They both are good with designs & are hip to different nail techniques. Sometimes Tina can come off as having an attitude but she's not like that, once you start talking to her you'll see her true personality, but let me warn you she's high demand so she's always busy. I always see Vicky--- That's my girl, my nails are always right & I've never left disappointed. The nail salon is somewhat of a friendly vibe, the lady that welcomes you is always making sure everyone is ok. The nail salon stays packed so it'll be best to call ahead & schedule an appointment, especially if you want Tina or Vicky! I recommend this nail salon, try it out!

This place is horrible. It's not sanitary at all they can't do a simple mani and pedi. My polish job was awful I could still see the white tip of my natural fingernail, I needed more coats of polish obviously cause my color looked nothing like the bottle. Eyebrow wax was not clean at all. Someone needs to call HAZMAT now....
