Went in for a gel polish change, color selected just happened to be not available- felt rushed to pick another color and really dislike... get to register and charged $35 for gel polish! I think he did a manicure which I didn't ask for, but I'm not familiar enough with a manicure to realize that's what was done. Very unhappy with experience - not first time I have been here, and not first time that experience was less than good...I would not recommend this facility.O and I left out the fact that my nails are not even clean looking. I used to always go to this place went recently on Tuesday evening. The tech who did my gel nails was awesome, but the tech who did my pedicure not so much. She cut out the top layer of my skin on my great toe and now I have an infection, dr bill, and antibiotics. They only refunded me $25 that's doesn't even cover the complete cost of my dr visit. The pedicure and gel nail polish I received here was the best I've ever had!! While in Columbus for a friend's graduation I needed a quick "sandal foot fix" so I googled some places and ended up here. Upon arrival I was able to get directly in a chair with Lee. Although he didn't talk much, he was polite and did an excellent job on my pedicure and nail polish. Here I am over a month out and my toes still look great. My nails never chipped or peeled off and I've received lots of compliments on them. Very satisfied customer. If I lived in the area, this would be my "go to" nail shop. Read Less

I love getting my nails done once a month and pinky nails as always been my go to place. Today when I went I asked for my acrylics to be removed (they have done this before with no problem!) but the lady started ripping my nails off and when I asked her to stop and soak them she ignored me. I snatched my hand away and told her it hurt and she grabbed my hand and got an attitude with me. My pinky nail was ripped off and another nail split in half from the tip to the cuticle. Do Not Go to this place! They are Rude and Racist!!! The manager made me write my name on the list and wait for over an hour, not once apologize for my wait or to even let me know they would be right with me. I took my mother here. We waited at least 20 minutes fir a full set. It's a fancy place and they charge 25 for a basic acrylic set of nails. For the second time in 3 months, they absolutely disappointed me. 3 months ago, they let my daughter and me wait for 3 hours and repeatedly took customers ahead of us that came in after us, but they made more money of of them because they were getting a manicure and pedicure done, but my daughter only needed her nails done. Today, I had one lady ahead of me and the owner told me as soon as she is done doing her nails it would be my turn. I love pinky nails. I go there frequently for pedicures and gel sets on my hands. I've never had a problem with anyone and they get to know you and know what you like so you don't even have to tell them. My fiancé also goes there for pedicures and he enjoys it. There are always going to be employees that you enjoy their work more than others but you can request who you like and they will accommodate. They recently remodeled and it looks beautiful in there. It's also sanitary because they use tools on you and give you your tolls and a bag to take home so no one else has used what's being used on you. I went into pinky nails with a gift certificate my husband bought me for a pedicure and manicure when I got there to use it they told me that they went up on their prices and that they would have to charge me $10 more for them to honor my gift certificate. I told them that they needed to honor this gift certificate because that's what my husband bought it for its stated on their pedicure and manicure and they were very rude and then they ignored me like if I wasn't standing t...here bad business because if you buy a gift certificate at the time for what they are selling it for it is to be honored I have never been to any place where they did not honor a gift certificate that was bought out and cash unbelievable what a rude person she was and just started blabbing her mouth and not her foreign language to another employee there and I'm not stupid I know that we're talking about me but that's okay your facial expressions told everything as you made those ugly faces just because I stated that you should honor what you sold to my husband don't go there or most importantly do not buy gift certificates from them. First of all,I waited 30 minutes to be seen.they have about 7 techs but only two did manicures. When they finally got to me I told her I wanted a fill with a cut down and I wanted them to be thin. I ended up with nails so short that you can't see the nail over the fingertip and they are super chunky ,bubbly and uneven. When I complained I was told "oh well they will grow back" I refused to pay full price( since I went in with nails and walked out with stubs) she said fine and slammed the receipt on the counter. I NEVER do reviews but im extremely upset. I went two weeks ago and got acrylic nails. Not only did i have to wait forever but i was bounced back and forth between people bc they apparently didnt have enough employees. Then the nail polish was old and wouldnt dry.. So i went home and took it off and realized my nails were noticeably uneven. A few days later one nail cracked and now one just snapped in half from barely touching it. I was always satisfied with this place until today. So this review isn't for the entire establishment, just for one young man that works there. He never asked me how I wanted things, whether or not the water temp was ok (it was cold), etc etc. he scrubbed the skin right off the top of my foot and nicked me many times with the nippers. His hand was shaking while he applied polish and Gobbed it on thick instead of thin layers. My friend had this same problem with this same man and I thought she was overreacting, but now that I have experienced it myself I am just floored this guy even has a job as a nail tech. Pinky's use to be the best in town but over the last year it's gone down hill since the keep losing their good nail techs.  The ones that are left behind rush to get you done and don't do a good job.  I was a loyal customer for 2 years not anymore.  Need better techs so there are more options to chose from tech wise. This place has got to get it together. The owner is friendly. But the place is chaos. I've been several times. I've been skipped in line for "regulars" without an appointment and literally sat for an hour and half before before getting my service. Why did I wait that long? I couldn't tell you, much to my regret. They always rush through the service. They've tried to use nippers for the skin around my nails that had someone else's skin still on them! My cousin was getting a pedicure and they tried to use the same nippers as they had just clipped the woman next to her with. And the woman's toe was bleeding!! Absolutely disgusting! They do not listen to what you want. It's like everyone gets the same acrylic set and that's all they can do or something. Extremely pushy with upwelling too. No, for the 3rd time... I do not want gel polish. No... I do not want the deluxe pedicure. No... I do not need my eyebrows waxed. I just moved the the area and was looking for a good place to get a mani and pedi. I walked into Pinkys on a Sunday for a pedi and was greeted right away and told to go pick a color and sit at a chair. Unfortunately i then had to wait forever for my nail tech to come start my pedi. They didnt even start the water for me to relax while I waited, I just had to sit there and hang out. My polish turned out pretty well but I was dissapointed with the massage portion. My mani and pedi were average at best.  The gel color on the wheel didn't look the same once painted on my nails.  My nail tech told my friend I should've shaved my legs (right in front of me) when I was only a little stubbly.  Really??  I still tipped her of course..she prob needs it more than me.Go somewhere else!! My sister and I came in her for bridal  party. They handled 15 of us including small children. Very fun and professional. So sweet, patient and the work they did was gorgeous. We all got gel nails and pedicures! Highly recommend this place. These people made a memory of a lifetime come true! My sisters and I flew in from all over the county and we were able to be here at Pinky Nails laughing and having fun while getting pampered! I only go to Pinky's. The staff is great, the facility is clean and they are reasonably priced. They tend to get pretty busy but if you ask me that means they are doing something right.Avoid going on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons. That is when they are the busiest. So the only reason I am giving this a 2 is because the staff were friendly.  I got a gel polish manicure last Friday when I was visiting for a wedding.  The reason I got gel was because they said it would last at least 2 weeks. 4 days later, the entire polish is peeling off if my nail in one layer.  I am pretty disappointed since I paid for the exoensive stuff. Had a mani/pedi. The guy who did my nails was a little rough when he did my toes, but I left with FOUR bandaids on my fingers where he cut into my cuticles. I alerted the "owner" and all she said to the gut was "say sorry". My daughter went there later the same day.
