Be careful if you buy a gift certificate for someone. I had the actual certificate and when it was taken to the location to use, was told it had already been used by someone else. Not sure how a certificate can be redeemed if you don't have the actual certificate, but at this establishment it can!! Alright.... First I am so bummed Tamara no longer works here (who was wonderful).... I got someone different and she was ok, but not Tamara. Anywho, this is by it's description a "modern" nail lounge, there's definitely no confusing that. It's very nicely decorated with cute boutique jewelry and skin care items for sale up front. They also offer coffee and water which is great. I have been here a few times and I guess they recently changed management. The cost of a pedicure (the European) was $50.00. Seems pretty high right? There is nothing that separates this pedicure from one at a lower-end establishment... Same skin removal, same polish, same massage, same lotions and scrubs etc.... Same pedicure.I nicked on of my toes and someone at the front desk offered to have someone fix it but fixed it in the salon on my own so no big deal... As soon as your pedi is done the nail techs head straight to a back room (or they did today). However, when I got home I realized that my big toe on my opposite side had bubbles and the nail polish looked like it had slid off.... I live about 20/25 minutes away so there's no way I'm heading back there to have my polish re applied. Luckily I have the same color at home.At any rate, for $50.00 (plus a $10.00 tip) I expect a bit more, maybe a longer/hot stone massage, aromatherapy application or a paraffin wax...?The atmosphere is definitely beautiful and relaxing night (even if you are sitting on a bench and not a comfy massage chair) but the pedicure seems to resemble something you can get for much cheaper. Overall: I just moved to the area and have visited four salons. This salon is definitely different than all the others. Not your average Asian inspired salon that you find on every corner. I will definitely be frequenting this salon on a regular. Nice and clean salon. I tried to do a walk in but was told I needed an appointment. My appt was at 10 am when they opened. Very quiet. I'm assuming because everyone was still in bed or on their way to work. Atmosphere: very calming. The lighting is a bit dim. I couldn't really see all the colors they offered. Nice music selection. Seating is BASIc but comfortable. The circular arm rests are not mounted to the seating which was a bummer. They roll. I wish the tub was not as close to the chair. I'm tall so I had to adjust accordingly. Salon: Nail colors were sparing. Didn't have a huge selection which was disappointing. Basic reds, pinks available. If you are looking for nude colors this is not the place to find them. You might want to bring them with you. The lady that did my pedicure was really nice and knowledgable about what she was doing. She made suggestions to add or skip ser vices based on the condition of my feet. (Lord knows I needed my feet done this time.) she also told me the salon was run by/ owned by a podiatrist which is comforting.  If they offered consultations that might be even better. Ha!! The massage she gave me left a lot to be desired but did the job. I really wanted her to really dig deep but whatever it was still relaxing and did the job. Restrooms were clean. Tools used appeared clean. I didn't see any tools ripped out of the paper/plastic disinfecting pouches but everything appeared to be clean. I saw another lady across the way disinfecting the bowls after each service. No jets in the bowl so less exposure to another persons germies. I also got the heel therapy. Well worth the money. Not pleased at all. Spent $120 on mani/pedis for myself and my daughter who was graduating. We both noticed that finish on toes was not shiny but rather matte looking. Dtr remarked sock fibers stuck to her toes after 2 days. Called after 1 week to discuss, was offered no resolution. In fact, it wsa implied that we had done something to mess up the mani/pedis. Was told if we would have called within 24 hrs they would have looked at it to see if they could determine what the problem was. Absolutely no way we could have done that with graduation activities. Nice and clean. Very pricey. The no chip shellac polish chipped the next day and became dull within 2 days. They did fix the chip for free. The gal recommended putting regular polish over it... Been getting gel nail polish for years and never heard of that. Very dissatisfied!! :( Especially after having to pay a $10 fee to have my previous polish soaked off, never had to do that before either. Toe polish dull and chipping also in just a couple of days. I was given a gift certificate from some sweet friends about 6 weeks after having major foot surgery to use when I was ready. I have been so ready for my feet to look decent- but afraid that it would be too painful to endure. Three months after surgery (and still having significant pain)- I decided to give it a shot. Usually pedicures are a love/hate thing for me because I'm so darn ticklish but I was actually able to relax while (Alicia I believe) did it. First time I've had a pedicure with no pain. Dont let the looks fool you. It was terrible! I still have dead skin from old blisters, residue from tape, and dry skin. I didnt get all of the services that was supose to be in the package. Raty towls, and a tech who looked around while she taped on my foot. She dropped a brush on the floor that she was using and continued to use it. Massage was nice. Not happy with the pedicure (maitenence on my feet: I purchased the Lux and it was very "drying" on my feet. Have called three occasions to speak with the manager or owner was told they were not in. I tried to explain why I wanted to talk with them and they all they said was that there were not here and did not know if they were for sure coming in today. The third time I called I wanted to cancel my next appointment and speak to manager.....I got frustrasted and just hung up. I left a Facebook message last week and no response to that either. This salon is top-notch! It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Each nail tech speaks clear English. They explain what they are doing. They use modern tools. They use sanitized tools and brand new buffing bad as not to cause infection. This salon is owned by a podiatrist and his wife. Everyone is super professional and exquisite. Okay, the salon is nice & clean & the staff is friendly & the work is quality, but that is where it ends. The lady who owns this establishment comes across as extremely self-important & the salon is overpriced. One would think if you go to such a "nice" nail salon you would receive exemplary customer service. Not the case here. After paying $77 (that does not include my $10 tip) for the most basic manicure (gel) & pedicure service; I called back to let them know that after I ...got outside in natural light that I was displeased w/ the color on my toes & was told that I would have to pay an additional fee to have them change the color. I made this call within two hours of leaving the salon & was told that if I had if I said something then they would have corrected the problem, but b/c I left I would have to pay. I explained I could not stay at that time b/c I had to leave to p/u my children, but that made no difference. To be such a "nice" establishment they are certainly lacking in customer service. I like this salon and will definitely go back. The salon itself is very attractive and the receptionist is very friendly. I had the Lux pedicure. The nail care was very gentle and the leg/foot massage was the best I've had in recent memory. The Polish is perfect and they give you a small bottle of your color to take home. I thought the price was reasonable for the service. I would have given 5 stars but for two (admittedly small) annoyances. They play loud techno music (I prefer a more spa-like environment) and they allow customers to talk on their cell phones in the treatment area. Read Less

I went there today for a manicure and pedicure. The receptionist was beyond friendly. She went and informed my manicurist (Kimberly) that I was there for my appointment. I waited maybe 8-10 minutes (I was 15 minutes early), picked my color while I waited. I got the manicure first. Can't have polish work my job so I got her to buff my nails instead. She did an excellent job. For my pedicure, the water for the soak was hot 👍, the massage was good 👍 and she did an excellent job with my nails. The lotion scents were nice. The place is beautifully decorated and probably the cleanest place I've been. If I had to say something bad, it would probably have to be that there isn't a very large selection as far as colors go but they had enough shades of red for me to choose from And be happy. The woman who did my pedicure was very sweet and kind.  She took pride in her work and was very easy to talk to.  The receptionist was perfect.  She was friendly and helpful and had great customer service skills. I came here for a shellac manicure with my sister before a wedding. I can't remember the girls we saw but they were both great and did beautiful jobs. I was told the place is owned by a podiatrist, which makes me feel a lot more safe and clean than those nail salons you see every few hundred feet everywhere else. I was also told that their equipment undergoes a sterilization process similar to that used in hospitals for surgical instruments, before sealing them into individual packets only opened in front of the customer. As a nurse I'm very much a "germophobe," and visiting those generic nail salons always left me feeling a little unsure about how clean their equipment is before it's used on me. Two weeks later and my shellac is still flawless (despite the usual wear and tear and the area where my nail has grown since then) and I will definitely be visiting them again in a few days. I've been coming to Footique for 2 years now and I have nothing but great things to say!  The staff is very courteous and friendly.  Their establishment is very inviting, relaxing and clean.  For their 'Footique' brand nail polishes, they give you your own color sample which they polish your nails with and give it to you to take home.  Their tools are individually packaged so they are only used for you.  For someone like me who's borderline germophobic, this left a lasting impression on me!  They have a great variety of mani and pedi services.  Alicia does great nail art!  Once I found Footique, I have had no desire to seek any other nail salon.  I will recommend them to anyone looking for nail services!I've read some of the other comments regarding price.  I've learned that for pretty much anything - whether it's a product or service that you get what you pay for.  Yes there are nail salons that are less expensive but their service usually sucks and they are not nearly as sanitary.  So I will definitely pay a little more for service that I'm happy with. The primary reason to go to this salon is that they don't have the chairs with pipes, so the water and footbowls are cleaner. Oh, and the atmosphere is very nice--it feels like pampering. The reason for only three stars is the time it takes--two hours for a mani-pedi. If they are going to take that long, it should be because they are really pampering you, but that was just for the basic mani-pedi. I came in on time, they were not busy, but the receptionist had to go and find my manicurist because I had been there for twenty minutes. When he did find her, it took another 5-10 minutes to get going. They are pretty disorganized, it seems. No wonder it's hard to get an appt. if they have to set aside 2 hours for a basic mani-pedi on everyone! Plus they only have a few manicurists but a lot of chairs. This is my go to place for manis and pedis.  Like another reviewer mentioned, this place is more pricey compared to most nail salons, but the service and care they put into you is worth it.Decor:  the place is beautiful with silver and teal modern decor and everything is CLEAN.  Nails:  So they make their own nail polish.  I was a little skeptical at first, but my first pedicure last a whole month and only started chipping the beggining of the fourth week.  But it was just a tiny chip.  and they give you a small bottle of extra polish to go with you.Service:  Both girls I've had did an amazing job.  I felt like my feet were soft and well pampered.  I also like the owner of the salon.  She always has a pleasant smile and is fun to talk to.  This is a great place for a girls day or bridal party spa get together. A friend and I were just driving around looking for a pedicure and found this place. The decor is awesome. The staff was super friendly. This place was also super clean. I'm always paranoid about hygiene, and I wasn't concerned at all here.  Another big bonus: everyone spoke english so communication was not an issue. I'll walk you through this lovely lovely experience.  From the time i walked in, i was completely blown away by the decor.  The color scheme is magnificent, such a relaxing environment for anybody.  I came with my husband (yes i talked him into it) for a duo service.  The technicians that were assigned to us were absolutely AMAZING and masters in their craft.  If my feet could have spoken to me that day, they would've said THANK YOU SO MUCH!! As for my husband, after his service he smiled and said "I could get used to this!" which meant a lot to me! I really wanted to love this place. The decor is very chic, the receptionist was super nice and all signs were pointing to a great experience. My boyfriend called and made the apt for me and paid in advance. I went on a wednesday and was leaving for a wedding I was in on Thursday. They are really expensive I thought for a mani/pedi, like $80, so i was expecting a lot of pampering. It honestly may have been the woman i had but the foot massage and exfoliation was very minimal and she just didnt care. The actual polish on my toes turned out well. Then we went to the manicure part and I asked for french on my real nails, which was an extra 10 so total $90...I thought they turned out well until i got out to the car and really looked...I had to go back in and redo 5 of my nails....the white line on HALF my nails were TERRIBLE...i know its a hard technique to paint on the white then use a brush and remover to make a nice curve but it was bad. They were very sweet and had another woman redo them and they turned out nice...except for she didnt finish one nail with clear coat, which was half my fault because i was talking to her and i didnt see it but it was annoying to have to finish my nails after close to $100 being spent. I went to Footique last week for a pedicure and got the BEST treatment I have ever had from a nail shop or spa. First, the place has a south beach feel and oh so Clean! They use an autoclave to clean all their tools and implements and the best part, I walked away with a bottle of polish, perfect for touch-ups! They were friendly from the moment I walked in to the second I left. I went to Footiques facebbok page, the personal relationship they have with the clients, you wont find with any other business, its more like a community!
