Three stars for a few reasons: The good: - super relaxing atmosphere. - very friendly staff- staff gets back to you right away and appointments are readily availableThe bad: - came here to get my eyebrows done. Once at home when I looked in the mirror, I still had to pluck some to touch up what they had done. Kind of a bummer, but it happens. Didn't bother me too much to be honest.- came in for a massage. Told my masseuse to please work on my back and neck. She spent the majority of the time working on my left calf. She went over the same spot on my left calf and shin so many times that it started to hurt. I asked if she could please use less pressure. She continued to go over THE SAME SPOT. It was way too much. Extra time wasn't spent on my back/neck. Today, 5 days after I received the massage, my left shin STILL hurts! I'm honestly surprised its not bruised. I take some responsibility because I should have said "please STOP with my shin and calf!" But I didn't. Didn't expect to be sore so many days after. So not the best experience I've ever had. Not the worst either, hence the 3 stars. If you end up going, just make sure to be vocal if your masseuse is missing the mark. Read Less

My husband and I scheduled a couples massage to celebrate his birthday. The service was exceptional! The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. Both massage therapists were very professional and thorough. I was so relaxed I drifted off to sleep a couple of times lol. I had the therapist LaVerne Alfred 11/13/17 . She was very kind , and customized my massage to my comfort level. But saying that doesn't speak enough volume to the care she gave me. She asked if the cover was too thick , which it was for my preference but no one before her has ever given me an option. So she changed it to a thinner one. She asked if the warmed bed was too warm which it was so she adjusted it. She even taught me a stretch I can do for a possible nerve pain I may be having. As well as she gave me recommendations to help with the tension in my shoulders and lower back when I can't get to her. So she went far beyond simply asking me where my 2 most troubled areas are, and if she's applying too much pressure. I highly recommend her, and would give her more than 5 stars if it were possible. From the moment you walk in you can feel relaxed! I am from out of town and my best friend and we were looking to get a massage together. We send an email late a night hoping we could get in the following day. They had great customer service as they called us within an hour of when they opened. We were able to get booked for that same day and same room massage. Since we got there early they took us into a relaxation room. I thought that was awesome! It was cute. It had a little fire place. You could make yourself tea or coffee and just relax. My massage therapist was Lavern. She was amazing made you feel comfortable from the start. She asked all the right questions and did not over communicate. She asked the areas of need. As the massage started she asked if the pressure was good or not. I personally appreciate that. She worked exactly on the areas that I asked. (I got a Swedish massage) she made sure to ask if the area I asked her to work on was getting better. As my massage was over she then asked me how I felt and if the area needed to be massaged more. It didn't she did an amazing job. She then proceeded to tell what kind of stretches I could do to keep that area from getting so tense, which I really appreciated. The level of comfort was great. The reason why I'm giving it a four is: my friends massage therapist did not communicate at all. She did ask what area she needed to be worked on and she worked on the opposite side that was said to her. She didn't ask about pressure or anything. I wish my friend could have had the same awesome experience as I did with my massage therapist. Other than that book with Larven and you also get 20% off if it's your first time. I came here to get a massage because of a gift card but left a permanent customer. The building and decor make you feel at home and comfortable from the moment you walk in. Had the lash lift done at Kur Spa yesterday and ABSOLUTELY loved it! I have good length on my lashes naturally, but they have always pointed down. I had the lift done and I can actually see my lashes and barely needed any mascara today! For anyone that has lashes, but battles with lash curlers and tons of mascara I recommend this treatment and Kur Spa! My family and I have been going to Kür European Spa for almost a year now. The staff is professional, kind and easy to talk to and your always greeted with a smile! Doesn't matter how stressful my week was, every time I come here for my lash fill in with Levinia or a 60 min massage with Laverne, I always leave relaxed. Also the organic products are spot on. I've start using the Mellifera face cleanser, balancing polish and skin moisturizer, thank you Ann Marie for recommending it. I got to say this stuff is great! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a pleasant welcome and made to feel comfortable right away. Fruit-infused water or tea was offered as I filled out my paperwork, and pleasant, relaxing music played softly in the background. LaVerne gave me a 90-minute deep tissue aromatherapy massage that was heavenly; the perfect amount of pressure and essential oils were used to make it relaxing but effective. She even stopped twice to get me some water after I had a coughing ...fit due to a tickle in my throat, this did not phase or annoy her. I was then escorted to Tina for a 30 minute facial. She was professional and gentle, she addressed all my concerns regarding my skin, and even allowed the steam to be directed towards my nose and throat to help with my cough. My skin was radiant when I left! I am very pleased with the level of service, professionalism, and personal touch this establishment offers. My husband and I came in for a couples massage. It was a much needed massage for the both of us. Christine and LaVerne were great; they both focused on the areas that needed relief. I was asked how I wanted to feel afterwards- "loose and relaxed". That's exactly how I felt afterwards. We will definitely come back. Wow! I got my eyelashes done by Lavinia and they look better and more natural than I even expected. She and Robert were professional and kind, and I felt at home at the beautiful spa. Lavinia was wonderful to chat with during the very relaxing procedure, but I believe her when she says that some people fall asleep while having eyelash extensions added.
