I was shopping, Sunday, and was a walk in at their salon. I asked for Opi Red gel polish and a fill in. They did an ok job but when he brought out the polish it had no label. I asked him repeatedly if it was Opi Red and he assured me it was even though it looked different. It is now Tuesday and 3 of my nails are already lifting. I went to my regular salon to get them fixed and they applied Opi Red gel. It is obvious that 3 of my nails do not match the other and now I will have to come back to the salon to have all my nails repainted with gel. This manicure should have lasted 2 weeks! If he did not have the color he should have told me. I would have waited until I got back to Atlanta or at least known what color to have them paint the nails that lifted. Because of his dishonesty and unprofessional behavior I will be out the cost of another trip to the salon. Read Less

I've been going to Joanne's for years only used her until I went in around 8:15pm to have my nails painted got in there and they said they weren't doing anyone else that they were closed, so I said well the mall doesn't close till 9pm and your hours online are until 9pm. sorry I work at a place in Calhoun if you arrive at 5:55 and we close at 6 we still take you in no matter if we stay over 30 minutes to an hour. I do not like Joanne nails!!!! I have continually gone their for years, and they do NOT have great service nor friendly staff!! I got acrylic nails from their maybe an inch long and they said they were too long and to take them off I get what I'm paying for don't go their!!! Read Less

They always do exactly what you tell them not to do. My Daughter and I went to get our nails done, they did a horrible service and argued with me when we decided to pick our colors also went with the colors they chose not the ones we had told them. Read Less

I went to get an acrylic full set and they gave me clear fingernail polish that had some glitter in it, not to mention my cousin and her daughter went with me to have a manicure for her daughter and to have a pedicure for herself. The guy who was supposed to do my acrylic nails made my cuticles bleed and did not put lotion on afterwards as other places do. My cousin told them she did not have the money for two pedicures, they proceeded with two pedicures anyways. My aunt who was there as well did not have her legs scrubbed nor her feet that is suppose to take dead skin off. We told them that what they had done was not what we wanted and the younger lady who wears heels all the time had proceeded to tell us that for one they get confused when their customers ask for manicures because it could be them only painting your nails or the acrylic set so I thought to myself well if that problem seems to be reoccuring then why not ask the customer that wants a manicure if they want the acrylic fake nails or them to just pain your nails, then my cousin told them before and after that she was suppose to have her daughter get the manicure and not a pedicure the same lady charged her for two pedicures anyhow. They did not try to help us with anything , they talked in their language so we could not understand what they were saying, which I am positive they were talking about us. Their work was terrible the paint was not shiny and smooth for the pedicures and my nails were messy which the guy who done mine did not care that paint was on my skin, my cuticles were bleeding because of him, and did not care it was a messy job. They didn't request a discount for the unprofessional job they did anyhow. I will not be back there again and someone needs to fire all the employees and hire ones that actually listen,care, and will do their customers in a nice way. Read Less

I came here around 3 with my step daughter she was just getting her toes done, I was gonna get a set of acrylics done.... Keep in mind that this lady never asked what I wanted done she just started then asked what I wanted.... The worst experience I ever had at a nail salon!! First off I got nothing close to what I had asked to get. At first she said "oh no you don't need long nails..." So she cut them shorter than I asked... And the shape of the nails no where near bc she says "oh you need long nails for that...." I just looked at her like she was an idiot! Not to mention that the shape she did them where all jacked up not one of them where the same shape!! And I asked to get some roses on two of my nails.... She replies back to me saying "oh no we don't do that here only big towns do that....." Since when do nail salons not do designs? Really... And to top it off my step daughter was being the best kid ever but she said IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER!!!! "I don't like kids!!!" Like seriously...... This really ticked me off.. Then she has the audacity to ask my mother in law to hold her down bc she wasn't sitting still, when she wasn't even moving!! I had to drive to dalton to daltons nails to get them fixed they did everything I wanted!!! Asked from the beginning what I wanted... With short nails and all I got what I originally wanted even if they are shorter than I wanted! Needless to say never let the elder lady touch your nails! NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN! Read Less

I went to get my acrylics filled in and the lady told me they could reshape them fine when I asked if I would need to get a new set to make them sharp. The lady who greeted me was nice and cooperative. The lady who did my nails was a fucking bitch. I told her I wanted them rounded more and sharp and she made them round but crooked and not sharp, so I asked her to make them sharper and more pointed and she told me I should have told her before when I did. She then told me it was my fault they were messed up and that I needed to tell her before even though I know I said sharp. Even if I had not described them right, she did not even ask how I wanted them she just started doing it. And she actually told me she did not want to do them how I wanted because they were ugly and easy to break. I explained I still wanted them that way and she complained the entire time about how I held my hand and that I was gonna mess them up. She kept hitting my fingers out of the way and told me I couldn't relax my hand. She was just straight up rude. She then continued to talk about me and about how I went to a different nail place in her language and she was laughing so it definitely was obvious she was making fun of me. That may sound paranoid, but she didn't try to hide it, she immediately started talking in a different language right after she said I had made a mistake and messed them up. She did not offer to do a new nail instead or offer any solution to the problem. She just finished them, without applying more acrylic after she shaped the new ones, and damaging my nail bed excessively. She was rude and I was not rude back because I had a feeling she would mess them up on purpose. She was very rough with my hand and continued to complain about me. I will never return but if I did I would inform the owner that her older employee was rude. My nails are still crooked and the customer service was horrible. As a worker in customer service I understand things being problematic but how she acted was absolutely ridiculous. The nails were done poorly and my natural nail is excessively damaged now. My friend later told me she had the same lady and that she had been rude to her as well. I would only recommend it if you have a different employee who knows how to please the customer without insulting them. Honestly, my business is lost and I would never recommend them. They even kept insulting the other nail place I went to. I wish I had gone to where I went to before because they were friendly and did a way better job. Read Less
