I was not impressed. The salon is very nice and clean, however the receptionist is rude. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I waited an hour while others who did not have appointments that came in AFTER me were seen first. I understand it depends also on whether if it's a manicure or pedicure however it was more than one customer who was called back before me. The receptionist was rude and didn't give an estimate wait or anything. The guy who did my nails did a good job, however he didn't even say hi, How are you? He spoke ONCE and said "what color?" This place is THE WORST! I picked out a flat color for SNS. When I walked out, the color was shimmery. I went back and the lady told me all of their SNS have shimmers. I have gotten SNS for years and it has never had shimmers AND my nails looked nothing like the pre-painted model. She told me she would re-do it with gel. I told her I didn't want to pay to have gel done when I could just go to my regular place, and she said she wouldn't charge me. Guess what... she then charged me for the gel! NEVER going back. I have been a frequent customer here for about a year. When I first started coming the experience was great. Now that the place has expanded the service level has decreased dramatically. The wait times are ridiculous with or without an appointment and there is little to no structure with the wait list. I am not the type to expect to walk in and immediately be seen however if I am told 20 mins, then an hour (3x that amount) is unacceptable. This is my first time here and I'm in love with the high end decor. It's definitely the aesthetic I've been looking for in a nail salon. Lee did a regular pedicure and gel polish on my nails and he did a great job. My nails look great!I have to say that I did notice the faces of the employees were overall, overworked and tired after I really started looking. The owner didn't seem to be doing much other than walking around with a seating chart. In my previous salon the owner worked along with his employees and they worked as a team. Everything that glitters isn’t gold went for a full set my polish wasn’t laid correctly Only did 2 coats of polish the color i picked out was a off brand so I’m aware at least 3 costs was needed to get a nice smooth color pop also my nails where not cleaned up after service still had acrylic and polish around and under nail and file shavings... I accidentally smudge a nail and instead of wiping the paint completely off he painted over the Smudged area which made it thick and bumpy...$55 down the drain Read Less

Not impressed. They honestly used a file on my finger nails that looked to be one they've used on every single person who walked in that week, heck month. Paid over $140+ with service charges and tips for the three people who traded off on me while I was there for over 4 hours getting a mani, pedi. The thing is I had called earlier to ask if I needed an appointment so I wouldn't have the long wait time problem-yet she said no we aren't busy you can come as a walk in. So I didn't make an appointment and literally was there all day because they had not enough staff to do my services. I swear, It's ridiculous the polish is already chipped and looking dull... 2 days later... will never recommend or go back. Guy didn't listen when I showed him picture or told him shape to be round square and rounded them anyway. Kevin was the nail tech that took care of me. He was fantastic!! I had solar nails with a French ombré and his work is superb. The young lady that greeted me when I came in was so sweet and accommodating. I was offered a beverage as I waited and all the other staff in there was just as polite. Extremely nice gym conveniently located in downtown Ann Arbor. I just loved the 4x7 class taught by Annie Rubin. I also enjoyed the yoga class. Nice shower facilities and great smoothies made onsite in a cool cafe area to hang out after a tough class. You must try the lean machine smoothie. Read Less

This salon is very nice and probably one of the most stylish in the Augusta area. They have plenty of technicians so my wait time wasn't that long. I got a gel manicure and cluster lashes. The manicure was great and the conversation was good, you also have he option of receiving a nice glass of wine with your services. I have been an eyelash addict for the past 4-5 years now and this application was by far the most professional. I can tell she took great care with my actual lashes and I've had them for over a week with only 2-3 falling out. I also love that they give you the option to fill in lashes instead of getting a whole new set. Definitely recommend & I already have an appointment to go back. The first experience I had here wasn't that great. The lady who did my nails just didn't seem to care what she was doing but I went here yesterday and my SO and I both got pedicures and I got a manicure. We took advantage of the complimentary glass of wine. (Yum!) perfect touch to a mani pedi day! The two woman that did our feet were awesome and very social. It's always nice when you're not sitting there awkwardly in silence. One was names Angela and I'm not sure the other woman's name but both super sweet and very good at what they do. I then got a manicure and gel polish color #30. The gentleman that did it did very well. My cuticles didn't bleed, he didn't cut my nails too short, it was overall a perfect trip. Place is very upscale nice and clean. Need more sitting area for customers! They will not allow you to bring your own eyes lash extentions into their buisness for installment. I just left here and my nails are bleeding. Yes, bleeding -- my skin is completely separated from the side of the nail from filing too hard and two of my other fingers are bleeding at the base of my nail. Me and my gf both loved the experience here! The place was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. Every seat in the place was filled with an employee and a customer which tells me they have good business. We got seated within 20 minutes, and the shop keeper made sure to update us when things started moving along. I've been to this nail salon twice now for pedicures. The first time was with a technician who didn't speak much English and was very rough, I left bleeding. I was offered wine on both occasions. The first pedicure I received was the Deluxe - I was not given a choice on the scent for the scrubs and lotions. It took about an hour and twenty minutes from start to finish and I was sort of neglected while she disappeared for about twenty minutes. I went back the second time because it was gifted to me. I had a tech who was very nice, professional, and gentle. She took the time to make sure I was having a relaxing time while still being efficient. She is the reason why I will probably go back. I took my daughter with me, who is nearly four, to get her toes painted. They have two children chairs and I was able to be seated next to her. She really enjoyed it. They even got her a drink. I believe hers was 15 dollars with the massage and lotion. The place is super swanky, well decorated, and absolutely dreamy to relax in. Okay, I really want to love any place that offers you a free glass of wine. And while my experience was not bad, it wasn't as good as what I've had at some other locations in town. A friend recommended Paris to me and recommended the SNS nail treatment. I called and made an appointment for two manicures, one SNS nail treatment and one gel nail manicure. The technician was professional but not particularly friendly, and this was my first experience where I've had a technician who was not gentle. When I got home, I was bleeding. He cut my nails, and the length across the board is not quite even- but I'm the only one who will probably notice. The other thing I thought was strange was that after he had applied my gel manicure, he filed my nails.My nails look very nice, but I'm concerned that my manicure won't last quite as long as it normally does, which is 12-14 days. I paid for both my gel manicure and my friend's SNS, and with tip it was $100. That's the most I've ever paid for two people. Vie as a whole is an amazing facility - it's new and modern, plus I love all of the yoga apparel they carry. I haven't seen anyone aside from Vie in Ann Arbor who carries Beyond Yoga and Alo Yoga. So this nail shop is pretty new in town. It's only been open for about three weeks. The decor is so fabulous! The chandelier adds bling and everything is white. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the interior decor. It has a super glam girly feel.They offer complimentary beverages: water, wine and sodas. The free drinks are definitely a great touch. You'll feel like you're in a high end nail salon. The guy that did my nails was great! My gel manicure turned out phenomenal. I love the workout classes and spin classes! Leslie's barre classes are amazing and inspiring. Emma's spin class are so hard but fun at the same time!
