I thought it would be a good experience because the receptionist was very polite and the spa looked clean and well maintained. However, I was very displeased with my service. I got the gel manicure on Saturday and by Monday one nail chipped and the polish came off with ease. I ended up removing the whole set. The technician spent the entire time ignoring me and failing to answer questions. He filed my nails in a very awkward way that caused the middle fingers to be weak and extra pointy/rough on the edges. They caught on everything over the course of two days. DO NOT GO HERE!! Terrible customer service, they will over charge you (3 of my friends all went at different times and can attest) ,TERRIBLE JOB!! If you want a possible infection, chipped nails, rude service, to overpay and for their even MANAGER, Sam to treat you like a jerk go here. Awesome salon! It’s spacious and clean and they have a great selection of colors. I’ve seen Akilah both times and my nails have lasted much longer than at other salons. I have been going to Happy Nails for several years. I am very disappointed with the new policy of $3.00 charge to cut nails down! This should be included in the service for a fill. No one charges to have toenails clipped! Ridiculous. Read Less

I'm always seated quickly . they do a great job. I always get complements on my nails. I've been a regular customer for more than 2 yrs, every 2 to 3 weeks depending on growth. I get pedicure and nail fill ins.They do gel polish and have exact matching colors for toes. There is one hearing impaired tech but he does a nice job. Read Less

My daughter and I came in on a Friday evening and asked for pedicures. Seated right away and had a GREAT experience. Julie and Foo were excellent. I wonder if the negative reviews here are the result of customers not understanding that some of the shop actually signs due to hearing impairment. The folks are very nice in general and the prices are decent. I wish I could give it a 4.5 because the only reason I can't give it a 5 is consistency. Yesterday I had a 5 star experience. Sometimes I go and I feel like a 2nd class customer with no frills. Maybe it's just technique among technicians but we are talking a significant discrepancy and the same price is charged either way. I had a walk in manicure and pedicure . I rated *** since place was under construction, was not as welcoming . I know it will improve in next month when construction is over, but I was there not to observe the chandelier hanging and pedicure chair repair. I think these activities can be postponed for after hours. If I invite people to my home for a tea I would apologize for step-stool in the middle of hallway. As for my service after pedicure , I stayed at the same chair for manicure it was not comfortable for my hands to relax. I think place will improve after expanding and reconstruction. Horrible. The man with glasses was obviously on drugs as he simply touched each of my toes when he was "filing" them and kept twitching and looking around the store, seemingly paranoid at everyone there. I got a pedicure that lasted no longer than 10 minutes and I could have done a better job on my toes myself. I love their acrylic application but I usually wear my nails more flared out. I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know all the procedures and I tell them I like to keep my flared out shape and they always taper in and completely change the shape if they didn't keep doing this I would give them 5 stars. I had to go to a wedding in less than 2 hours, I walked in with no appointment and requested a dark blue that went with my dress shirt, however I got a turquoise color, that's why it gets 4 stars, however turquoise worked out well, it took about 20 minutes and looked amazing! The man told me to sit at table 4 after sitting there for awhile I then spoke up to let them know that I'm waiting on the solution to soak them off the lady looked at me rolled her eyes n turn up her face n said "I do her first, somebody else will b with you" I got up n left! Maybe I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS before coming here. There's a major language barrier at this place unless I wasn't speaking English very well. I came here today as a walk-in for a pedicure. When I entered, all of the nail techs who were working on customers just sat there and stared at me like I was an alien. None of them greeted me or smiled. Then finally a guy (who I'm assuming was the owner that was on the phone) asked how he can help me. His acknowledgement didn't seem friendly or inviting either. Maybe they were all in such bad moods to be working on Memorial Day? Who knows...I told the guy that I just wanted a pedicure and he told me to pick out a color and to sit down at an open chair. I still think it's weird to have a guy working on your nails and I've had bad experiences with men doing my nails in the past. This guy that worked on mine didn't say hello and barely spoke. I told him that I wanted a french tip with the color I picked out and it seemed like he understood. Yea right. As I looked down, he painted my entire toes. Uh, clearly he didn't understand or just forgot. So I brushed it off because it wasn't that big of a deal but I could tell things weren't going to go as planned. When it was time to pay, he said the total was $28.50 and asked if I wanted to add anything. I knew he was asking about the tip, so I said, "Yes, add $4.00 for the tip." So why did this mofo charge me a total of $34.00? I clearly did not say, "Yes make it 34 even". Not even a, "Add $5.50." Whatever. I know it's less than a $2.00 difference but come on. Do your job right and pay attention. I don't think I'm coming back here. I'd rather pay the extra money and go to a professional, real salon where they treat you in a more professional, friendly manner. These low end salons in this area have been so disappointing! Never come to this salon, ever. I went here about a week ago to get a pedicure. The salon is dirty, unsanitary, and has an unpeaceful atmosphere. I waited for over 30 minutes as all of the male workers started arguing on who was gonna do my pedicure. Finally, a guy starts working on my pedicure and made my feet bleed. I love this place!!! Being military it's so hard to continue to find a great place to get your nails done because we move so often. But I love going here!!! I have used all the people that work here often but my favorite is an older guy. He really takes his time and always remembers ,e! Even when I am in walmart he stops me just to say hi and tell me to have a great day and he can't wait to see me again!
