So happy with this place, but most happy with Lindsey..my boyfriend and I have both been looking for a go-to person to do our hair, and 3 years of unhappy haircuts later, we have finally found her! She listened to what I asked and even with my indecisiveness and odd requests she did a beautiful job. And as far as my boyfriend..handsome as heck! For someone who has had the same hair stylist since he was a toddler..its hard to find someone new, but Lindsey got it so close to what he was used to and it looks fantastic! How does someone file a complaint about this place and stylist? It took 2 times to try and correct the big mistake that was done the 1st time. 2nd time made it even worse and nothing like we talked about to correct it. Now it looks worse!!!!! 2 days before my wedding I had to switch to a different salon for my updo, chameleon squeezed me in. The morning of my wedding my make up artist at a different salon no showed. Luckily Chameleon agreed to do my make up as well and saved my butt! Both hair and make up were gorgeous and stayed that way from 8:30 am until 2am that night. They also colored and put up my mom's hair I'm so thankful to the ladies there! Could not say enough to express what they did for me! Read Less

I've been growing my hair out for about 2 years. I have been going to Icapelli Salon for occasional trims. I decided I wanted to really change my hair and go short. I heard Kristen J was working at Chameleon Hair (known her from years ago when she used to cut my hair) so I made an appt. she did a fabulous job! Love the new cut and really liked the salon. I am from Colorado and I was in Sioux Falls for training. On a whim I decided to cut my hair short after growing it out for about 6 years. A friend looked up reviews online and told me to call Chameleon. Lucky for me Jade had an opening the next afternoon, which did not give me time to chicken out. She did a fantastic job and was very pleasant and professional. I not only got a great haircut but also got to visit with her and learn about her life and family. Although they were extremely friendly, the polish just wasn't done on point, the facility isn't very clean, and the message was minimal for the manicure and pedicure. For the same price and services I could have went somewhere and had a more luxurious experience. Though if you're looking for a really cheap manicure this is your place. Absolute worst nail salon in augusta. The lady is extremely rude and cut me 4 times when filing my nails with the drill and didn't say a word even when I pulled my hands away. Aside from that, my nails look awful. French tips are all uneven and edges of my nails have no paint on them. I will never go here again. Read Less

We're in town visiting family & we've come from NY. Decided to get a mani & pedi & this place seems clean. The pedi chairs are not the most comfortable but while I waited for someone to do our pedis they had me soak my feet in warm water which was not a bad idea. I thought I would be experiencing something special here. I got a pedicure which wasnt have bad but OMG to my nails outcome. I removed tips and decided to get my own nails wrapped and gel coated. It looks like my 9 year old daughter did my nails, it doesnt even look finished. This was such a waste of 65.00 I have ever spent, never again will i go to this place, I dont feel anyone who is looking to get their nails done to go there unless you are getting your toes done and even then you are taking a chance. Went here today as a walk in. They seated us and we were getting our manis and pedis with no wait at all.I kinda had a complicated nail design that I wanted, but the lady did it perfectly and exactly how I asked. They had a very big selection of colors to choose from as well if you want a mani/pedi. The couple that ran the place were very friendly and very good about their time.
