Ask for a copy of their policy before u sit and have them do anything to U. Had gel nails done Wednesday for a wedding on Saturday that was more than 2 hours away. Thursday, my nails started chipping and peeling. I took pics, got my receipt, called and asked to speak with a manager and told him and that I'd be back To see him Monday concerning the nails since gel nails weren't supposed to do that. Had to ball my hands and hide my nails in the photos because my nails were terrible. Once I made it back to Augusta Monda to attempt to get refunded after showing the pics with the date and time on them and a copy of my receipt... the owner still refused to refund me stating it was his policy to NOT refund even if they mess up. I was very Angry. No one should have gone thru that for a wedding. If the wedding was here in Augusta, I wouldn't have been so upset because I cud've ran back here Friday morning to have them repair it.... but then that wudve killed some of the wedding prep time. They never want to make amends for their mistakes except do ur nails over again, so please get a copy of their policy. I will from now on. $30 is a lot to spend to only have ur nails chip and peel apart the very next day. That plus, shame and embarrassment is worth taking to small claims court to me. Read Less

Christie did my first ever cut and color. I was nervous and unsure of what I even wanted. She talked about everything with me and made me feel much more comfortable. I first met Tanya Maher when she worked at a different salon, and I followed her to Signature. She's extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and just an overall awesome stylist. She's helped me keep my hair healthy for the past several months, and I will continue to go see her here! I actually just set up my next appointment with her! Had 5 in. cut yesterday and I was a nervous nelly when I walked in, Emily made me feel comfortable and relaxed, listened to what I wanted and needed for my very damaged and neglected hair. I have no idea how Signature Salon is only #3 on the Local Best list for salons, they should be #1! My very first experience with them was amazing and I will continue to go back. Emily cut and colored my hair today. She took the time to help me figure out the exact color I wanted and mixed it up for me. Sucks. My nail broke less than a week and I went back in and asked for a replacement while another was cracking and I was told it was fine after I had to pay for for the other one. 10 minutes after leaving the other one broke while I was driving they service really sucks.
