I ended up here today by default. I was in d.e.s.p.e.r.a.t.e need of a pedicure. Desperate.  I went to my go-to shop up the street that I thought opened at 10.  Turns out it opened at 9:30, there were 4 people waiting, 2 in chairs, and only 2 nail techs. When I asked how long the wait was, I was told, "not too long, more people to work coming now". Blank stare. Anyway. The chatter amongst the waiting was that there was this nameless place up the street in the same plaza as the dollar store. Into my vehicular, I got.I arrive. There's 1 lady being serviced, 1 nail tech, and a nice man doing nothing. I'm excited because I think he is going to do my mani/pedi. No. Not so fast, kids. The nail tech says, when I ask if someone can service me, since I'm still just standing in the doorway, "yes, you soak your feet, I come when finish her". I'm like, oh no. So, I ask nice man, "why are you here, just to look handsome?"  He says "no, I do acrylic nails, you like?" I laugh hysterically and say, "oh no,my new friend, we'll have none of that!!".  Anyway, he runs the foot massage full of scalding hot water, we get it adjusted, and my feet soak for what seemed like an eternity. Finally, when Tina fully completed the other woman's mani AND pedi, she came over to do my pedi. She was pleasant, efficient, not annoyingly chatty, which I really appreciated.Thing is, the entire time I was there, NO other customers came in.  If they had, they would have had a tremendously LONG wait. There's only ONE employee- the owner. Oh, and the acrylic guy. That's just not acceptable, especially on a Saturday morning.  Maybe others know this, and that's why they don't come? I can't say I would come here regularly, but I definitely will come again. Service is slow, and I don't trust that it couldn't get much slower. To her CREDIT, Tina is slow and deliberate in her work on EACH client. The same dedication she shows to the person ahead of you, she will give to you.  It's just not particularly comforting in our microwave society, on the weekends, when we have sooo much crammed in to do.I'm going with 3 stars for cleanliness (spotlessly clean), pleasant (quiet, radio at a low volume), friendliness and courtesy (very much so), and a good job done on MY foots. I wish I could do 3.5.I skipped the mani. Didn't have time. Read Less
