I've been going here for over a year for lash extensions. I've seen a few girls, and typically see Monica. They all have done a wonderful job every time! BUYER BEWARE!  I was in town for a wedding  and on Saturday Morning my friend and I decided to get lashes. Since I was there I decided to get a gel manicure. Here are the facts about my experience with Beauty bar:1) I got a manicure Thursday night before leaving NYC for ATL & skipped the Gel bc I didn't have time2) The manicure part was minimal as I had just had a manicure less than 48 hours before.3) The Beauty Bar tech put on 3 coats of Gel polish and 2 top coats which I think was overkill4) By 8 PM Saturday night (same day) the Gel was lifting from 2 nails 5) By Midnight the lifting Gel was snagging my hair and beginning to chip6) By Breakfast Sunday morning and after showering it was a complete wrap! I could peel gel clean off like a sheet. 7) This crappy job didn't last 24 hours8) I tipped the girl 20% I called the Beauty Bar first thing on Tuesday morning and talked to the receptionist. She spoke to management on my behalf and stated that they would refund 20 dollars minus the cost of the manicure. I explained to the receptionist that I didn't get a manicure as I had already had a manicure and that I paid for a Gel job that didn't last 24 hours hell it didn't even last 12 hours. And that I tipped the tech appropriately based on the cost of the service.  I requested to have all money returned to me with exception to the tip.    I quickly asked to speak to the manager but was told that she was too busy to talk. The manager never followed up to discuss further.  What a SORRY and unprofessional place.  I will take this up with my bank.   The only good thing about this place is the beautiful décor although the Lucite chairs are very uncomfortable.So patronize this place at your own risk if you get Gel you may have to go back the next day to have it done over again.  And if you are staying at a nearby hotel, Don't bother! I came here to have my lashes done and went to them a few times as I wanted to give them a chance before having to go somewhere else. I have tried other places supposedly highly rated in Atlanta prior to coming here and can compare. The initial presentation of the lashes was ok but not worth their prices. However, due to the following I wouldn't recommend: 1. The prices they have online for services aren't the real price you get charged for. Every time I booked online for a specific service and person, I ended up paying $15+  for some lame excuse they used as to why they were increasing the price. Whereas other places only required 45 min or less for a refill they said they required 60 min + for one and would charge you accordingly for the extra time. If your tech is slow or the glue they use doesn't hold the lashes in place from one week to the next- they charge you extra time- even if you booked less time- why must the customer have to pay for the extra time when other places will do this for free? 2. Lashes only last one week when  for the price you pay  should last 3-4 weeks. They charge $90 for refill and $350 for a classic  set of lashes which is quite pricey compared to other places with comparable quality  and lashes only look good first few days, after one week they start turning and falling significantly. Each time I went they kept telling me I was doing something wrong or that I was on my shed cycle. Yeah right. In most places, if they fall in one week, it's their fault and they redo it for free. Here, I got charged for their poor work. 3. They would work on my eyelashes from 45-60 minutes but would charge as though they worked on them additional time. 4. You must submit your credit card to book and if you must cancel, they will charge you $25 fee5. No customer service etiquette 6. No reminders as compared to other places via email or text7.  Very difficult location - hard to find, hard to turn into and not much parking availableThis place is a scam. Won't be coming back and recommend staying away as their are many other lash places out there. Read Less

Received my first Brazilian wax. It hurt at first but it wasn't as bad near the end. Great turn out. My bridal was here to celebrate my bashlorette party. I also was able to get eye lashes. BB of Buckhead is incredibly professional. It isn't easy to satisfy a Type A personality like me where I would like all of my questions answered before I ever book an appointment. Jennifer actually walked me through the steps on her day off to help me understand the process. When I arrived at the location I was offered a drink and waited maybe 2 min before Jen Nicole started to style my hair. She listened, she was fast, and professional. The only downside is that I got a headache from the hairspray...which really had nothing to do with her. I was completed with my up-do in 44 minutes which i was expecting 2 hours so this was great!. I've never been here or heard of this place since it's a bit far from where I live but I came in from Suwannee after reading some reviews and I wanted to get a nice natural set done. Monica had done my lashes and I was very pleased With the look she gave me. It didn't look too diva and it was great since I work at a hospital, I usually don't have time to do makeup. I don't like anything too heavy since I do rub my eyes and I can honestly say I'll be coming back. It was the perfect amount of volume. Beauty bar of Buckhead speaks for itself- the ladies there are also beautiful and so is the decor. Thank you again and I will recommend to anyone! WARNING!! This salon has unlicensed nail and lash techs as well as unlicensed hair stylists!! To make matters worse.....Ladies, can u imagine walking into the bathroom and seeing 3 baby cockroaches there to greating you? Roaches in a salon? Seriously? I was absolutely disgusted. Not to mention the fact that my services were all done very poorly. Lashes fell out in a matter of days (lovely considering I paid 150$ for my fill) as well as my nail set breaking on the first day. Such a total waste of money, to then find out that my services weren't even done by a professional. "Working under someone's license" is not allowed, nor is it legal. Take your business elsewhere!! Came here while traveling for work, I've gone to another nail salon near by when I've been in town before but it still let somehow to be desired so I figured I would try something new. I walked in and within 5(ish) minutes I had a glass of white wine in one hand and the other was being worked on. They have a very nice space that is very well decorated/furnished. It certainly has a real fresh and clean feel to it, and the staff was friendly and nice. They have an really nice selection of polish, both regular and shellac/gel, and they have OPI Gel which is the best (in my opinion)!The woman that did my nails was very sweet and overall did a great job, my only complaint is I wish she would have gotten the gel just a little bit closer to my cuticles (but this is just me being super picky.) I really wanted to like this place. I found it with a gift card for a complimentary manicure given out at my place of business. There were good points, like the manicure staff, wine and atmosphere. But the customer service and pricing were so wrong. The only thing I like is the color I picked. I came I with card described what I wanted and was told it could happen. I was moderately ok with my nails, they were shorter than expected. But at the checkout the girl told me I couldn't even use my gift card which I said please ask a manager. Then she over charged me 10 dollars. I did not get gel or tips. An overlay with regular polish was $50!!! I know I'm in buckhead but I usually go to the amazing haute spot and Trina nails. I felt like I went back in time, and overpaid. I'm not cheap but there is no reason that should have happened. Oh and my gift card was a $38 value of which they used $14. Really?! Like no! They blew out my hair and did my makeup for their grand opening (I greeted people when they came in). Let me say... WOW! I'm mixed with black and white, so my hair is extremely thick, curly, frizzy, and almost IMPOSSIBLE to tame. But they did a WONDERFUL job! I also have a face full of freckles, so getting makeup to blend perfectly with my skin is difficult as well. The end result was stunning and everyone was so nice. Love it! Read Less

I have gone to BBB for a little over a year now, and in that time two very awesome stylists have left.  The first time my stylist left, they made me an appointment with a new girl who took over 6 hours, over the span of two days, to JUST COLOR my hair.  She was new, and the only other 2 stylists there could not see me at that time.  Finally, a few weeks, later I got in with a male stylist named Gaby who was fantastic...and two months later, I call to make another appointment with him only to be told that he has since left the salon, too.  I love the receptionist but I cannot say enough negative things about the management of this salon.  I think they are running off talent (not to mention customers).  The turnover here, since the most recent management change, has been atrocious.  As any salon customer would agree, high turnover among the stylists is the LAST thing you want!! When I went inside the place was extremely nice and very spacious, I was greeted by the friendly staff and didn't have to wait long at all. Lashful is part of this place. I went in to have my nails done and noticed the manicurist lashes. Cut to the chase..ended up having lash extensions the same  week. I was told the extra lashes were glued to my own lashes. Wrong.. she lied to me they are ALSO glued to my eyelids!!!!! I'm a lash addict. I'm very particular with who and where I get my lashes done at. Beauty Bar lashes techs amazed me. It doesn't matter who I got it done by when I go there. I always walk out satisfied and happy. They train all their lash techs to do the same. But if you really want me to refers you to someone. I would recommend Kimmy or Jennifer. Both are really good. But if they are too busy. Anyone is fine with me. Oh, and if you have time. Treat yourself with your hair wash and get a blow out. I love the way my hair volumes and bounce after they give me a blow out. I see that they have cuts and color as well. With how the salon look so professional. And staffs are so nice. After hearing great reviews about this salon, I decided to schedule an appointment for a lash fill-in. When I walked in, the decor was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and I was serviced right away. I got married 3 weeks ago and a friend of mine paid for me to get my eyelash extensions done (somewhere else) and it was horrible. After 2 weeks, almost all of my extensions had fallen out, my eyes were extremely irritated, and I really needed a fill-in. The lash expert at beauty bar knew exactly what to do and what kind of lashes to use that would be better for me, and the results were amazing! My eyes feel light, they look full, and there is no irritation at all. If you're going to get your lashes done please go to someone who knows what they're doing. I highly recommend beauty bar. This salon is by far the nicest and most professional salon I've been to in Georgia. I love it SO much.I had my lashes done today for the first time, and I cant imagine living them more. Gabriell did mine and she was amazingly professional and easy to talk to. She listened to everything I wanted and did a better job than I could have imagined. I wanted them to look natural but full and she did it perfectly. I actually could have fallen asleep if weren't having such a great conversation.I also had my eyebrows done by Kimmie and she was awesome too. I left feeling so pretty!  Everyone was so friendly.  You will feel like a queen!  I went in for a blowout with Chase.  He asked me what I wanted and paid close attention while carrying on a casual conversation.Since it was my anniversary, Heather cleaned up my brows, and applied the most beautiful makeup I have ever had done.  The staff gave me a mimosa to relax...it is a definite girls outing or an extra something special kind of place.  The prices were very reasonable.  I was given a $20 discount and menu just because it was my first visit.  Take a little time for yourself and go see your new friends at the Blowout Bar of Buckhead!
