My wife had the worst experience here with the rudest people. I would give them zero stars if it was possible. My wife’s nails were crooked because the technician chose to rush through the service to help someone who was supposedly on a tight schedule. My wife wanted other services and they told her to come back tomorrow because other customers were waiting. The fact that her money wasn’t worth there time is ridiculous. Since they refused to fix her nails and perform the other services she was paying for they argued with her in front of the salon about the situation. My wife left and I called up there to resolve the situation and the Manager would not give us a refund and told me to call back later cause he was busy. It was weird!! Lady did a great job on my SNS but the other lady doing my pedicure was not good. She chose the polish for me and it wasn't a matching or even remotely similar to my sns fingernails! And about 2 weeks later I had 3 ingrown toenails as they were cut wrong. Nope not up to par. Read Less

When She saw my nails were bleeding she just shrugged and said " they'll heal" like it wasn't a big deal.. For my pedicure someone was in the chair before me and they didn't even drain the water all of the way before telling me to put my feet in. The water was freezing and I asked numberous times for them to make it warmer. I called ahead to ask how much it would be for a gel manicure and pedicure and they said $50. I had a 10:00am appointment this morning for a mani/pedi.  When I went to the salon this morning I asked for Megan and was told she was off today. No explanation or offer of having someone else do my nails.  Since they had my name and telephone number in their appointment book,  a call would have been nice.  I won't be going back to this salon because they don't seem to care about taking care of the customer. Sadly, I will not be back to this nail salon after my last experience. The technician I had to do my pedicure...y'all she was horrible! She did not do a good job at all and even pinched the cuticle on my big toe so hard it bled! She did not do a good job with any part of the pedicure. She couldn't even paint the nails. She kept having to clean up her messes and mistakes. Absolutely horrible! My SNS manicure: Well, it wasn't that bad, but it definitely was not up to par. The nail file that was used was dirty and old, and he stuck glue all over my fingernails. I had to ask to wash my hands after both of my services were finished. I still gave the place three stars, because I have gotten awesome services there on multiple occasions. If you manage to get the owner, Brian, he will do a fantastic job!! I wanted really short SNS that didn't look chunky or too square. I feel like Bao listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. My nails are not too thick either. I have been to several nail places in town-and plan to come back to this one for SNS-as the results are the most aesthetic. My nails look terrible. Tried SNS for the first time, and the lady told me the color I picked wasn't working, and she had to take everything off and start over. They picked a new color for me that was similar, and I chose not to protest bc we had already been there for 2.5 hours. The lady nicked my finger a few times, which burned later when they put cream on my hands. They left my nails thick, unfinished, uneven, and ugly and still charged me full price. I paid $40 for nails that I don't like and have to get removed. My pedicure was fantastic, but was overshadowed by the bad manicure. I went to this salon a little over a week ago and it is safe to say it is the WORST nail salon in Athens. I was forced to wait for over 30 mins when the salon wasn't even crowded and was not even greeted by the staff. As I sat down to start my nails I immediately could tell the color was not what I had chosen (which I picked out directly from an online image) Both staff members could see I was unhappy and I even showed them the color but both were rude and blew me off. This place is horrible!! I wanted to walk out without paying. They filed my nails uneven and couldn't seem to figure out how to paint my entire nail and actually put a solid color on them. I have patches. When I tried to get her to fix them she just gave me more attitude then complained to another lady. A gentleman walked in to get a pedicure and all the employees laughed at him. Doesn't desire any stars! Was the worst experience ever! I took 4 teens for prom maniaures. They didn't listen to what the girls wanted, cut one girl's nails short, told one girl NO to acriluc nails and then charged her for them, over charged 2 of the girls. I spent well over 4 HOURS in this salon just to get a pedicure and SNS manicure. I got skipped over multiple times and missed personal appointments while I was here. If you're used to getting your nails done in Atlanta, the quality here is not the same. My nails were sloppy and do not compare to my nail salon at home at all. Read Less

Very happy with my experience here! Laura is so friendly! The spa is clean and organized. It really felt like a spa experience. Nice soothing music playing. TVs were on mute. It wasn't noisy and crowded with rude employees like some other cheap salons. You may pay a little more here at Serenity, but believe me it is totally worth it! Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and Tony did a great job! My friend had Holly who was very sweet and took her time as well. The manicure and pedicure, which sometimes I think technicians forget is the whole point, was great! Cuticles were cleaned up well, the polish was neat, and the massage was wonderful! 4 stars only because I wish it was a little less expensive. Will definitely return! Read Less

This is definitely the best nail salon in town. Lisa does an awesome job with my fill-ins and is always patient when I can never make up my mind on color. I've gone through shape trends, and she listens and does exactly what I ask for every time. I also prefer "thinner" acrylic, and she always delivers!I usually have a different person every time I get a pedicure, and they're always great. There are three types of pedicures, and the "middle" one is wonderful. They do a scrub rub and bring out the hot towels. I almost fall asleep every time. I went hiking and stuff in Helen a couple of days prior to coming here with my wife. She wanted to get a pedicure so I told her I would hang out. She signed me up for one anyway so I sat back there with her. I just want to say those chairs they have are awesome. It was a great mechanical massage and my back needed it. Seriously, this is the best nail salon I've been to.  Brian and Lisa have both helped me in the past, and both times they took their time to make sure my nails were absolutely perfect.  When I left, they looked better than I ever thought they could.  I'm not exaggerating.  Every nail was shaped perfectly, and every part of my nail had polish.  I can't say this is always the case at other places I've used.Even when they are busy, they make sure to take their time and not rush through it.  It's my new usual place -- it should be yours, too! :)I'm updating after seeing some poor reviews.
