Not busy today but still made a appointment! People are very nice and place is really clean! They have lots of colors to choose from and four different types of pedicures! Since I was trying the salon for the first time I just did the basic pedicure. They were awesome and the pedicure was perfect and done beyond my expectations. I was early and got to watch them do a set of nails and was very impressed with their attention to detail, making sure the customer was completely satisfied therefore I will be back to get my nails done. My nail tech is the best. She is meticulous when it comes to nails. She is so warm and easy to talk to-you feel comfortable the moment you sit down. She helps you decide what would work best for your nails and then executes it beautifully. I loved my pedicure she did recently. My toes still look amazing and it has been a week and a half since i got them done - not one chip in the polish. The other thing I love is how hygenic everything is. Everything she uses is brand new and you even get to take home small containers of the scrubs and lotions she uses, plus any buffers, files and separators she used on you. Just got my nails done here for the first time. And wow I am thoroughly impressed with the service here. I scheduled an appointment just a few hours before coming in. I'm not a fan of gel pedis, but I only get gel manicures so this place is perfect for me. I showed she a photo of what I wanted and she not only replicated it perfectly, but also gave me some great suggestions to make the nail design look even better. I love this salon! The girls are super sweet and really good at what they do. I get gel manicures here and they really take good care of my hands. I was introduced by some friends to La Nails last week. Super pleasantly! They gave me a bottle of water while I waited. Staff did a very good job for my gel polish. And she was very patient with me. LA Nails is the only place to go to get my nails done. I went ahead and took a shot at coming there. They accommodated me quickly as I walked in. I did the sea salt manicure and pedicure. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! Avoid at all cost PLEASE!!! This nail salon does not value its customers or give great service. I just visited the nail salon today and the person I asked for was booked, and that was OK. What was not OK was how they treated me because I didn't want to go to to certain technicians because they could not even paint nails properly and I've had bad experiences with those two technicians in the past. So I told them I would wait on the next technician who would be available but they sent no other technician to me. So I sat and waited, and they talked about me in another language. These business owners here at this nail salon who are working on the floor do not care about the services their technicians provide and when they do intervene they do it so rudely that I will not come to them anymore. They sit on money, and do not value their customers. They could've made great money today but because of their bad services I will never ever come back again. They just had two customers when I had arrive walk out unhappy and angry because one of the technicians did not paint one of the customers nails right and the nail polish came off. It took the guy 45 mins to take of my acrylic nails, it usually takes them 8mins or it takes me 10 if I bite them off. I put them on in the first place so I wouldn't bite my nails. They got nice and long so I came in to take off the nails and put on gel polish. While he was trying to remove them he cut down my nails after I asked him not to. They are now super short and all uneven. I'm pretty sure he is new. He was struggling so much that someone had to come help him. I have been to this place 3 times before and never had a problem.. But now that I'm one hour into my manicure and he is still trying to "fix" my nails I'm getting pretty frustrated. I wonder how long it's going to take to complete a simple manicure. Never coming back and it sucks because they are very convenient for me ... FYI, my nails are now extra short... I mean not even getting close to going above the tip of my finger. It looks terrible.. I had a very nice experience at La Nails! First I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the price for a gel nails! 15 dollars for a gel manicure is unheard of and I am glad they were able to get the price point so low! The nails technicians were very nice and understanding. The salon is very big and I wish it could of been a lot cleaner but I was very happy with my finished product. Wait time was about  10 minutes. Best pedicure in Athens. I have be to nearly every nail salon here-- at least on the Eastside-- and I have hated them all. So now I just drive over to LA Nails on ATL Hwy.  They actually use a pumice stone on your feet, a concept which other Athens nail salons can't seem to grasp. And they put in effort when scrubbing. THE WORST manicure I have ever had. The polish was almost all weird off brands, with only 2-3 old lady colors in OPI. I went with a pretty blue in some brand i'd never heard of. They slathered cuticle softener all over my hands and then put my hands in heated bags so I was literally getting a HEATED CHEMICAL BURN on my skin. Ouch. When my hands came out of the hot bags red and inflamed the nail tech seemed unconcerned. Of course the crappy polish chipped immediately, but it also came off, entire nails at a time. It was regular polish but peeled/fell off in one solid chunk, on each nail within a few days. I'm easy on my hands and my manicures usually last for quite a while. In fact, the first finger on which the polish FELL OFF COMPLETELY happened in my sleep. What the what? I don't even know what kind of chemical they must have put on my nails pre-sloppy-polish to make the paint not even adhere properly. This place is strange, awful and potentially dangerous. Read Less
