Went last week to get a mani/pedi and was very disappointed. They didn’t soak my nails at all and started clipping away at my cuticles, leaving them red and looking awful ever since. It hasn’t been a week and it looks like they were done 2 months ago. They tried way too hard to sell me on the SNS when I asked for gel, which was just annoying and awkward. As a new mom I don’t get to go often so I was trying to relax, but they kept turning off the massage chair so they could hurry and finish both at the same time. The woman who did my pedi was very nice but clearly sick- she was coughing the ENTIRE time without covering her mouth at all. I almost got up and left in the middle but didn’t want to be rude. One of yte most frustrating things with nail salons is that they tell you they can do manicure and pedi at same time the. They really canot. I called ahead to make sure and drove in and they kept saying she was coning and never did. Another patron was waiting to get her little sandals in so she could leave and no one helped. I have had a lot of pedicures in a lot of different places, but I've never walked out of a salon as completely satisfied as I was tonight. The folks there are friendly, professional, and helpful. I was stunned that the techniques they used never hurt for a second--they were completely gentle and knew exactly what they were doing. They have a vast array of color choices, and their massage chair worked like a dream (hooray!). (Let's face it, one of the main reasons I get pedicures is for those chairs, and I've been to places where they didn't even work.) I will never get my pedicure anywhere but V Nails & Spa as long as I live in Alpharetta, and maybe even if I move someday! This place rocks!!! Read Less

This was my first time trying this place. The employees were welcoming and very friendly. Sadly, my SNS manicure lasted less than a week. One nail chipped badly after the first day and two more yesterday. They look terrible after only 6 days and I am having to go get them redone. They did a great job with a gel manicure and matching regular polish for the pedicure. Gel manicure was very well done, not too thick, great nail shape and I added a parrafin dip, which also came with a lovely neck massage. Got the royal pedi with hot stone massage, which felt amazing. The staff here takes time to make sure your nails are done the way you want them. They are very detailed when tending to your hands and feet. Some places breeze through cleaning up your cuticles and the scrubs, but V nails and Spa takes the time to make sure your feet and hands look as good as your nails do. This place is organized, but some of the employees act as if they are in control of your destiny once you sit in the chair. They arr too aggressive and seem to want to dictate you what is good for your nails. The girl who did my nails seem bossy and impatient. She had an attitude when I asked her to use my own file. She keeps calling the clients, people much older than she. What happens to madam or miss. This makes people uncomfortable. Nevertheless, one employee, Kim is very professional, calm and cooperative. I moved to Alpharetta last year. This is the only nail salon I go to. The staff is polite, friendly, and really do a great job on nails.
