I was recommended this nail salon and heard it was amazing.  The staff is very nice and the place is clean-ish. First my friend and I were taken right away which I thought was great....but this meant we were just sat somewhere while people finished up with others.  While I eventually received someone, my friends literally had to wait until my manicure was done and my pedicure started before her manicure was started.  She ended up deciding not to get a pedicure because of how long it took.  I can understand that, but what I cannot understand is the fact that the stylist told me that getting a gel-manicure on my toes would keep the polish longer and not chip at the front.  I am a runner and this is why he mentioned this because I was worried about paint chipping.  He assured me and so I paid the extra for it.  Well, no, either they do an awful job at gel, or gel does chip as soon as you put tennis shoes on....even 24 hours after the gel dried.  When I tried to call and message them about this, there was no response...not even a gesture to fix it...which many other places around here do.Just be wary with what they tell you.  If I were you I'd spend my money elsewhere, where you are treated well, polish is worth the money, and you will get a touch up after 24 hours if chipped.  This place needs to appreciate their customers more because they not only lost my friend and I, but they lost several others after I told them.  I have had these women go to another salon which they like better.  Buyer beware. Always a pleasant experience at Pure, Diane does a meticulous job when doing my nails. She is fantastic!!! I love that it's so quiet and serene, no shouting across the salon by the techs. It is very clean and the decor is very modern. They use the liners for the pedi tubs, which I appreciate. I have never had an issue whether I go in for my SNS every 2-3wks or a pedicure monthly. Very nice and easy spot on my way home! Very friendly. I had broken a couple of nails over the weekend and they were too short and they took the time to make them look great!! Only complaint is they require cash tips in a world where cash is obsolete. Read Less

First visit to Pure today. They took me and the BF as walk-ins and sat us right down. Unfortunately, for some reason they started on Terry first which is aggravating because my mani-pedi will take twice as long as his and I won't get the drying time I need because he will be impatiently waiting on me. It's HOT as ten hells in here and super humid. There is no music or television, so you're kind of just sitting there staring at the wall in front of you or trying to awkwardly converse with employees that don't really speak English. Edit that, there is a large television, but even though it was a great day for football it was cut off.As predicted Terry was done 45 minutes before me. They do not have the UV dryers so they stuck my soaking wet nails under a weak, cool blower. This resulted in two of my nails getting totally messed up but at this point I had been here forever and Terry was waiting so impatiently.  I didn't even give a darn anymore and left with still wet nails partially messed up. It was probably the stingiest manicure I have ever paid for. There was no hand massage,moisturizing or cuticle care. It was basically a color change at a manicure price.  No heated mitts or paraffin dips either. There is a whole wall of gel polish which they really push since it's more expensive.  Unfortunately there's no way of knowing what color it is unless you actually unscrew it and open it to look. It feels awkward trying to do that when your manicurist is standing there kind of impatiently waiting for you to pick a color so she can get started.My nails were so wet and their ability to dry them so poor that there wasn't even a clearcoat applied. I went home with my messed up nails and  fixed them myself, did a clearcoat and put them under my UV dryer. My polish lasted two days.It is a really pretty salon, I'm very impressed with all the aesthetic changes since my last visit. The last time I came I guess it was owned by someone else and it was kind of dated looking. It's very attractive now. The employees are very nice, and try to interact with you as best they can.  If they would step up their game with more premium type services and invest in some UV dryers this would be a winner of a place.  The most important tip I could give though, is when a couple comes to start on the woman first, especially if you choose to not upgrade to UV dryers.  Again, it was really awkward for my BF to have to stand around and stare while he waited for my nails to dry, which as you read above, they never really did.We do plan on returning though, maybe we just picked a bad time and maybe they will upgrade some things. Great service! I came in with my mother to get ready for a wedding and they were very attentive! Everyone working there was very kind. I have pretty high standards for my nail salons, and it's been hard for me to find a good nail salon in my area.  The decor is beautiful and very elegant. Our nails came out beautifully and this will definitely be our regular place!  The manager was also great and very sweet. Great customer service! You will not be disappointed if you come here. Very nice and clean salon . Everyone here are friendly and speak good English ! I got the Ultimate Tropical Pedicure and the lady took her time and did a wonderfully job, she spent extra time taking care of my calluses and the massage was amazing ! This is a beautiful, CLEAN, relaxing nail salon!!. The same owners as Posh. The salon is just gorgeous!!! Lovely lighting & tile floors. Comfy new massage chairs. They offer a variety of services. They offer Gel & SOS nails. My sugar scrub pedicure was awesome!! I chose green tea fragrance. It smelled wonderful!!!  They also offer lavender, orange, and maybe tropical sugar scrubs.  The bowls have liners & they are also jetted. The instruments are sterilized. And the other items are disposable- so each client gets a fresh, new set. I'm so glad this business is in Johns Creek!!! Read Less
