Original review: Not bad, but not what I would call fantastic. My finished nails were messier than I expected for a $30 gel manicure. The deluxe pedicure was nice; no real issues there. $38 was a bit more than I would have expected for the pedicure with sugar scrub and hot towel wrap service. Read Less

I have been going to this location since it opened. I've gotten my nails done at many salons, and by far I love this the best. The salon is clean, welcoming and they have a huge choice of colors to pick from. The size of the salon is perfect to book ahead for a girls day, plenty of pedicure chairs to accommodate everyone. Ideal for larger parties. Quality of work is impeccable, they take their time and do not rush through your service. All the staff is awesome, engaging and fun! The best, most affordable shellac manicure I've found in Alpharetta! My nail tech worked quickly, but did a great job. (The salon was busy, so that was very understandable). She even took the initiative to repair a painful/broken nail, free of charge. My manicure also came with a paraffin hand wax included - something I've never had done before! Just before I arrived, a few moms and their daughters walked in as a group. I was pleasantly surprised that I was sitting for only a minute or two before I was sent to a station. I soaked for just a few minutes before my technician walked over. It was a quickly paced appointment, but I'm pleased with how my French shellac manicure turned out. Went here because of the previous good reviews. I am extremely satisfied with their services and the salon in general. They were quick to get me in a chair with an ice cold water. The pedicure/manicure process was not rushed and very well done and included hot towels, warm wax, and massages along with thoroughly done exfoliation and nail care. The staff is extremely polite and the whole salon is very calming and inviting with surprisingly tasteful and elegant interior design and good massage chairs. This was by far the best and most relaxing mani/pedi I've had in a while and would highly suggest this place. It would be good for individuals or groups. Read Less

Customer service was A+. They did exactly what I wanted! I have no complaints. I would return again. The fact that they can do complex nail art is what amazes me. Best gel mani and awesome nail art! I don't often get gel manicure since I don't want my nails to get ruined. But when I'm going away on a long trip I prefer to have gel on so it's completely worry-free. I've tried a few other nail salons but here at Mimis Nails Spa the staff are truly artists. The work is done meticulously and the end product is beautiful. I'm definitely coming back here. Read Less

I came in last week to see if they were able to squeeze me in last minute, and one of the girls there immediately helped me. Unfortunately, I forgot to get the girls name but she was super professional and friendly! Personally I'm iffy with acrylic nails, but she made them feel so natural! Mimi's is the best! They have a great selection of colors, and the salon is very clean. Kelly was my nail technician. She was kind, friendly, and very skilled. My biggest fear when getting my nails done is that my cuticles will be cut too short, leaving my skin sore and bleeding. That is not the case at Mimi's! I live near the airport and this is the only place I'll go. I'm very picky about the shape and quality of my nails and they get it right every time. I never have to worry about the outcome and I can truly relax while I'm there!!!! I wouldn't recommend another nail salon in Atlanta Read Less

I've been going to Mimi's Nails for years.  The owners and staff are always friendly, the salon is very clean, the prices are more than reasonable, and the quality of the services are high. I get regular SNS nails & pedicures and have never been disappointed. There is rarely a wait when you get there, I appreciate how quickly they get you in and out.  You know it's a quality establishment when you see so many long-time customers there on a regular basis.  I highly recommend them, go check them out for yourself! I don't know why I keep running into so-so nail salons. This 2-star rating is purely based on my nail tech not the place itself. The place looks clean, has a good selection of gel nail colors and is spacious. Now, my nail tech lady on the other hand... that's a different story. I went in for a gel color change so it should've been easy peasy but not only did she file my skin off (nail was too short to file anymore), she starting filing them all in an oval shape without asking me what shape I wanted! The entire time she doesn't say two words to me. It was awkwardly silent and then she painted on my skin multiple times! I had to tell her and she would file the polish off and I kid you not - she chuckled. It was a horrible experience.The other client next to me had to keep telling her nail tech to stop filing her nails too bc it was already short. Wtf, are these employees blind? But I have to say that The two males in there, the one that did my sisters nails- he was awesome with her. The other male- think the manager, he was nice too. If you choose to go, ask for the guys. This was my first visit to Mimi's as I continue on my quest to find a good nail salon near my home. Well I think I just may have succeeded in my quest today. I made an appointment over the telephone and asked to have a pedi and fill at the same time. They were able to accommodate me within thirty minutes. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Mimi, who led me to the vast array of nail colors.  I was immediately seated in a comfortable massage chair and greeted by one of the sweetest women I have met -- Lily. Lily said she would be doing my pedicure. She brought me water and made certain my chair was comfortable for me. LT, my nail technician, arrived shortly thereafter, and after specifying my needs, began working diligently. The atmosphere is clean and inviting.  The shop is nice and quiet with relaxing music in the background. What I really appreciated was the fact that I was not sitting in the middle of a conversation between two people whose language I do not speak.  One of my pet peeves at nail salons is having my techs carry on a loud conversation in another language amongst themselves in my presence.  It is rude and disrespectful. Alas, this was not the case today. LT did an EXCELLENT job on my nails. I could not be any happier. He is very knowledgeable, quick at his job, and friendly. Lily is as sweet as can be.
